Farrell has acquitted himself really well in his time with us an I am sorry to see him go back and there is deffo a good player in the making there, Barnsley should hang onto him, he’s one for the future.
Must have missed the clever pass then BB26, that midfield was a little congested at times.
Certainly didn’t deserve to lose and the fight back was excellent because we had played some great football and didn’t deserve to be 2-0 down. I’m not going to slate Jones because the back pass left him in no man’s land and he made the wrong choice, shit happens and he pulled of some good saves in the match which helped us stay in it. Great opportunism from Cal to get us back into it and who else but Alfie Beestin drawing us level with a thumping shot, who doesn’t love Alfie really he’s proper Scunthorpe United through and through IMO, I hope he sees his career out with us. Most entertaining game along with the Forest Green encounter a few weeks back at the AA this season. Disappointing turnout for a top clash and Rochdale only bringing 630 fans to an away game with that team they have is rubbish IMO York brought 1600 and their fans were brilliant.
March 25, 2026 at 12:31 pm in reply to: Howe Can We Not Integrate A Proven Goalscorer In To Our Team? #318308I thought Beck had been and gone? Or is he there and back?
You make Beck sound like the young man from Tashkent, whose cock was incredibly bent, with a great deal of trouble he got it in double and instead of coming he went boom boom.
York are 3-0 down
Must remember not to ask you for a pre match tip 😂

…it’s casting aspersions.
There is mounting evidence that the first meal Eve prepared after being created in the Garden of Eden was a fruitcake, bill and his ilk having been talking like one ever since.
Did we win 🤔 oh yeah absolute shite Butler 😂😂😂 FFS you guys sometimes, really.

Have I just missed something, thought that was our third consecutive away win and four wins out the last five games? Moving on yes the defence needs a revamp next season but we have discussed this for weeks so it’s not a new subject is it? As for Belahoun well he’s been out with nasty ankle injury since January and has had two injections and almost needed an operation so it’s obvious AB will be easing him back in, if some of you kept up with injury talk from the manager you wouldn’t have to ask or repeat the same old questions. Another cracking away win and playoffs looking virtually nailed on now, well done Iron 👏👏👏

Another wonderful start then 🤨🙄

2-1 Iron win
You always were a bloody fence sitter, 2-0 to the Scunthorpe Iron.
Not one word about Christianity,Deerey, what’s your problem?
We’ve been asking the same about you bill for many many years.
Some of our strikers over the years were candidates for the Barn Door, as in could not hit one if they tried.
Bârn d’Oôr ?
I prefer the agricultural version Rene your far too continental for your own good mate.

Also spotted that Joey Dawson is yet to start a game for Buxton.
You have to be fit to start games, I think Joey has struggled in that department since coming back to us, reckon his two serious knee injuries have done for him in the professional game, he will be gone come summer, great shame he was some prospect as a young player.
`I think Jones the keeper has looked pretty decent in the games I’ve seen him play and wasn’t he on Donny’s books in league one? If so why couldn’t he hack league two?
Lobby Lud. UTWI
My late father told me as a nipper that the Lobby Lud competition was run by the now defunct News Chronicle and when you spotted Lobby at a popular seaside resort which had been mentioned in that morning’s edition ( apparently Lobby would have a rolled up copy under his arm) you had to approach him and say “ you are Mr Lobby Lud and I claim the News Chronicle prize “ which as correctly stated was a fiver. Anyway moving on 😂
Is there concrete evidence of this or just hearsay 🤔
If we can only beat Truro away 2:1, not exactly play off winning form
The top ten’s results away there (Carlisle United, Boreham Wood and FGR are yet to visit)…
Truro City 0-1 Rochdale
Truro City 0-2 York City
Truro City 1-2 Scunthorpe United
Truro City 0-1 Southend United
Truro City 2-1 FC Halifax Town
Truro City 0-1 Hartlepool United
Truro City 0-2 WokingNo one challenging for promotion has rocked up and given them a pasting FYI.
At last the voice of reason, good post young man you can’t argue with facts and figures, now watch some of them try 😂
We won get over yourselves, nothing else matters and tonight’s game has gone, we made our playoff spot even more secure and nothing else is relevant.

Decent start two up in twenty minutes, glad Alfie got a start and got another goal, nice to see the young lad up top chipping in aswell.
Posted same time as you Awaywego I wasn’t nicking your thunder by saying virtually the same thing, should be a comfortable win with DW watching from the bench.

Whitehall benched.
Don’t think he’s been fully fit for awhile now , he’s dragging himself around the pitch of late IMO , perhaps having a breather and coming on if needed second half could be a good move by AB, we really shouldn’t need him on the pitch tonight against Truro TBF.
Two wonderful strikes by Starbuck and Alfie and nice to win it in stoppage time rather than lose it. Hurst was an improvement playing on the right and his poor corners were down to the sand pit on that corner according to AB post match, make of that what you will. We conceded against the run of play and equalised when they were on top with second half chances created up to that point. From 1-1 I thought we created more chances and definitely more pressure on their goal than them on ours and overall we deserved the win but it still needs improvement.

‘I recall to good old days when bog rolls were the weapon of choice ‘
Izal from the school bogs were the best rollers.
Bit rough on the old bum though DM, whoever thought grease proof paper would make a good a@@e wipe 😫
“Nice beaver” a Leslie Nielsen classic.
Good points MK the Tuesday night defeat by Sutton being a prime example. They chased, harried and battled for everything and they did not run out of steam doing it either as I was hoping they would. It was a horrible ugly unentertaining game of football and the 94th minute free header winner was entirely predictable.
Just sounds like a normal day for the average Dominatrix.
We aim to please DM 😜
