Current manager is a mate of AB’s and a former Iron player but he will be under a bit of scrutiny after last nights result, just one of those games maybe, it happens.

Very helpful analysis. So, it points to the need to get additional investors?

Which is what the majority on here having being saying for a long time and that is down to the board not the fans who do plenty as it is and its the boards responsibility to find new investors pronto.

T’was a song being sung at the end of the game which the club posted a video of. “He’s f*cking quick, got a massive d*ck, Jean Belahouan.”

    Absolutely briiliant whomever invented it

I heard it was someone called Jean Beulahouan 😂

Always thought a club like ours was too big a project for a bloke like Hilton bit like the manager he set on, maybe the Matlocks of this world are just about his bag.

I think the question about the supposed fighting at Truro between two Iron fans is a fair one that needs to be answered. The other point about alleged affairs is immaterial and an entirely personal matter but fighting at home or away games is contrary to the club’s policy on spectator behaviour and surely if this accusation is true both supporters should be banned by the club from attending fixtures both home and away. We know how keen the club are on rules regarding spectator behaviour.

And you was doing so well ironironiron until you mentioned Hilton.

Just look at the revenue streams he’s brought and trying to bring in at Matlock. And we have a begging bowl and very little else, well ok a wreath making workshop and a medium night.

Not sure what Hilton is doing now at Matlock is relevant to what he did when he owned us TBH.

Well AB gave it a go again Saturday ( he has occasionally used 4-4-2 at times this season, mainly mid game ) both Whitehall and Dec have goals in them so why not start games with that system, it might just bear fruit and fire us to playoff promotion.

The matchday atmosphere at GP has never been as consistently “up” as it has been in the last two seasons – due in no small part to the drummer and his mates. Leave them alone, they’re doing a cracking job. If you don’t like it put earplugs in.

It was like being sat in a morgue, in the main stand back in the old days.

Well it was full mainly off the walking dead back then, much like the Jason Threadgold stand now where I happily have a seat 😂

Another great away win for the Iron, chuffed for Dec and well done AB for changing the shape of the team second half and trying to win the game instead of settling for a point. We did not need to win today just not lose but the win is excellent and the Iron faithful will journey back happy tonight 👏👏👏

Thought Whitehall had a good game last night, won a lot of headers up top and generally gave their back line plenty to think about, subbed at the right time to freshen things up and his lack of full fitness is hardly anything new, he’s not been completely right fitness wise for a long time now but he can still be effective in the game time he gets.

They only average 2800 at home Ironawe 630 is a good turnout for them.

Yeah I get that Awaywego but the town population from the 2021 census is around 111,000 whereas Scunthorpe in the same census was 81 to 82,000. I know they live in an area with a lot of bigger league clubs and they have a rugby league team but it’s still rubbish support IMO.

Still can’t get over the poor Rochdale turnout last night, I know they don’t get massive gates at home traditionally but to bring only 630 fans to an away game just 80 miles down the road with the great side they have to watch this season is not good enough. The York fans and I know York is nearer put the Rochdale fans to shame in turnout numbers.

Good shout DM and as I said in my post match Rochdale comments for me Alfie is a great club player, always gives 100% runs himself into the ground game after game, great pro.

AB has gone 4-4-2 mid game a few times cass, why not have Dec on the bench as an option, you don’t have to go like for like every time you substitute a player.

Looking at bringing another striker in today but Dec seems to be a back burner option if the deal falls through. Seems a strange one, Dec is in form and scoring goals out on loan and with Farrel gone why would you not bring him back, go on AB bring Dec home, give him a chance.

Yep agree about Jones DM I like what I see, pace to burn, skilful and beats his man most times. He was up against a very good fullback last night but Jones gave him a hard time IMO.
