But ten years ago on a Subaru forum, I was discussing a new Ford Focus one of the members had as a second car.
He was extolling it’s virtues, including auto-verything, and heated everything.
I asked if he wasn’t worried about it going wrong, and his reply was that in three years he’d have moved it on, so it would be someone else’s problem.

We got a VW Tiguan for that very reason.
My wife is now a wheelchair user and found it too high.
Went to a BMW 1 series which was great but developed a fault with the aircon/heating, which forums revealed was common🙁
And expensive. Like £1800 expensive, (full dash out, two days labour).🙁🙁
BMW fixed it free as a gesture of goodwill, but I was afraid it would go again, so we now have a Merc A series.
And love it.

What’s that all about?
For a start, the first letter is a lie. They aren’t “Sport” at all. Most are sluggish, and will fall over if cornered quickly.
And “Utility”? No more utility than the average hatch.
Why on earth are there so many, each manufacturer having several?
And WHY do most people want such huge vehicles?

It’s not even the end of May yet. Lots of clubs will lose players in the coming weeks, but will not sign others until they have gone. Many contracts run until end June as well.

We don’t have a very good record of getting in players early, but it is somewhat unfair to start haranguing them so early.

To score we need service in their area.
Plus players who will shoot, not pass to a colleague trying to give them a tap in.
I bet that the high scoring teams took far less touches in or around the opponents area than we do.
And a message to AB: we are NEVER going to score, or create a chance from a back pass or a pass parallel to our penalty area in our half.
It’s not clever and it’s not pretty.

Dunno about this one, I reckon it’ll divide opinion.
Took my eldest out for a meal to celebrate his birthday.
All was good until about twenty minutes in, when a large family was ushered in.
They had a young girl with them, obviously SEN, who hooted loudly ALL THE TIME.
They also had a dog, which attacked three other dogs who also arrived with their owners.
Both the hooting and the dogfights were roundly ignored by the entire group.
What are others’ feelings on the above?
