You’d want at least 51% of the club if you stumped up a million, but she’s only just got slightly over 20%.
You might not want any part of the club you might just want to invest a million over five years to go towards running costs or boost the wage budget you don’t have to own anything you don’t want to.
Like most fans you mix invest up with giving
That’s a fair point but how many football club owners actually put money into a club expecting a return particularly lower league and non league clubs, the returns are more trophy or league progression based not a financial return. So is any lower league investment actually investment? I’m guessing not.
The fact Count Binface received almost 9500 votes is an amazing fact and a sad indictment on Farage IMO.

Yep investigation reopened and £250,000 of taxpayers money wasted on a needless by election . However Nige is different to other politicians apparently and demands specialist treatment tailored just for him, hey Nige it ain’t gonna happen you slimy little weasel.
Thought Michelle made it clear they don’t want any new investors.
Until the day somebody rocks up waving a million quid in her face saying “ I’d like to invest this amount in your football club please “. Sudden change of heart perhaps?
People blasting music at full volume with their windows down in cars. Two points
1 others don’t always want to hear or indeed have their day disrupted by loud annoying music
2 I believe concentration levels are reduced for the driver in such conditions.
No hard evidence but I believe loud music in your ears is distracting from the main job in hand which is driving the car in a safe manner. At least they still look alive in the Threadgold, unlike the Mortz.
Yeah and Threadgold still hasn’t come out at halftime and handed out a few free funeral plans!!! I mean what’s the point of being in that stand if he doesn’t want to drum up some trade?

Needs to score in these first ten games hopefully quite a few, I want him to find his goal scoring form asap or else some will start branding him a wage thief, the ultimate insult for any player.

How so?
Never heard the Westbrooke version before I thought you had adapted it to suit your purpose
The betting odds clearly based on Southends 15 new player summer recruitment and manager Kieron Dyer, despite us beating them three times last season they will be nailed on to beat us as you might expect and probably finish comfortably in the top three if not champions. TBF with gates at home regularly over 8000 they have pissed about far too long in this division, as usual it’s all about the money.
Just watched Garth’s blog, what’s with the 7 fans leaving once we scored and before they restarted
(and that’s just in the centre of the Mortz on view) , still 10% of the match left not like we were 3-1 down.I’m with you Awaywego on early leavers, quite a few leave every home game some from 85 minutes onward in the Threadgold stand, regularly miss late goals be they winners or equaliser’s like yesterday. Really strange what’s the big deal getting away early? just crazy IMO.

Thought yesterday’s minutes applause went down really well, good thinking starting it a minute before 75 with Denton getting treatment gave supporters chance to concentrate on the job in hand and respect Kevin’s name. Lots of fans standing to applaud and great showing from the travelling Yeovil fans, a worthy tribute to a great player and a great bloke. RIP Kevin.
Don’t know saleiron but an open goal less then ten yards out should be a given for a professional, toe poke either side of the keeper does it not blazing it over the crossbar, can’t blame a dodgy pitch now.
Nobody mentioned Richard’s glaring miss just before halftime guess he’s still on probation but that would have put us one up at the break and then of course a different second half.
To me, Brennan looks at least one street ahead of Westlake.
Who the hell is Westlake, sounds like a countryside beauty spot. If you mean Westbrooke les then yes Brennan looks like an exciting signing but surely a different type of player playing in a different position, if it’s Westbrooke versus Richard’s then on yesterday’s showing the jury is still out IMO.
Another Scunthorpe manager who didn’t know what to do then regarding Wooton, aren’t they all the same though possibly with the exception of our Nigel, then again he was very successful and didn’t hang around waiting for the expected criticism which surely would have come his way eventually. Eventually all our managers are shite yeah considering the amount of criticism the vast majority seem to attract eventually from our knowledgeable fanbase?
She’ll be back on later to put us all right I’m guessing, I mean it is something she does on a regular basis.
You’ve certainly made that particular chant your own alcy.
I thought this was a Butler thread when I saw the headline. Surprised AB wasn’t sacked on the touch line after yesterday’s disgraceful draw.
How many season ticket holders are there this season?
What was yesterday’s attendance?
Not sure about total season ticket sales, well north of 2000 I believe, gate was given as 5111 with 260 Yeovil fans attending. I thought it was a good gate considering holiday season but of course the weather helped as it was another glorious sunny day with a 27c temperature.

Aren’t the majority of club managers after game interviews more or less the same? only so many things you can say about a game of football and they won’t say or possibly agree even with what some fans want or think they should say. I don’t bother listening to them that much because it doesn’t really tell you anything you think you already know.
Or maybe not.
Butler unable to beat a team that comes for a draw… again.
Get him gone.Don’t hold your breath…. then again……..

Anyone know why his royal clowness was arguing with a fan?
Didn’t realise King Charles was at the game today.
Draw was a fair result Yeovil knocked it about nicely and kept possession well, two good goals from debutants on either side, reasonable enough start and both teams should be capable of a playoff spot looking at the squads they have. Subs did make a difference which shows overall we are a stronger group this season.
No,that statement is not true,Siderite.
However a sense of humour failure is.

Probably, followed by a half time break of 30 minutes with a live band and cheerleaders to entertain us.
Prohibition!!! There’s a bloke called Ness who would be just the guy to enforce it, lol
Never A Dull Moment Awaywego you still Wear it Well.

Can’t beat a bit of humour, I always find certain posters offerings hilarious.
..and if voted back in again then the parliamentary committee will restart its investigation into his finances. Farage will retort it’s unfair because the people have voted him back in because the investigation is unfair, no idiot it doesn’t work that way it’s called correct procedure and it will continue.
