    Whitehall benched.

Don’t think he’s been fully fit for awhile now , he’s dragging himself around the pitch of late IMO , perhaps having a breather and coming on if needed second half could be a good move by AB, we really shouldn’t need him on the pitch tonight against Truro TBF.

Two wonderful strikes by Starbuck and Alfie and nice to win it in stoppage time rather than lose it. Hurst was an improvement playing on the right and his poor corners were down to the sand pit on that corner according to AB post match, make of that what you will. We conceded against the run of play and equalised when they were on top with second half chances created up to that point. From 1-1 I thought we created more chances and definitely more pressure on their goal than them on ours and overall we deserved the win but it still needs improvement.

Good points MK the Tuesday night defeat by Sutton being a prime example. They chased, harried and battled for everything and they did not run out of steam doing it either as I was hoping they would. It was a horrible ugly unentertaining game of football and the 94th minute free header winner was entirely predictable.

Someone mentioned to me that York are being investigated about funding. Is that true? Any investment needs careful due diligence this time. Too much laundry going on in lower leagues.

Thank goodness we avoided becoming a launderette.

Indeed if we had it would not have been beautiful.

There is a lot being said about Lincoln City just now and how their American investors have helped put them virtually in the Championship. Good luck to them but it’s taken an awful lot of money and yearly loses to get them to their current position. Staying in the Championship will be the ultimate test for Lincoln’s investors and the next few seasons will be interesting to see how they do, we need more investment that is obvious if we are to move forward but I’m not sure where it’s coming from. We may be stuck at this level for awhile yet.

Well done Bhuna5 those are all worthy sensible suggestions if you won £181 million, maybe then give AB a budget similar to York and give him a proper chance to prove himself with a decent budget before your personal reasons for sacking him kick in, we are all worthy of a fair chance perhaps with the exception of Trump who wants putting in a care home immediately.

Dec could well sign for Altrincham in the summer and the Butler/ Dec love in will be a thing of the past, I can hear Rene weeping into his white apron as I type.

I reckon we might see the old Whitehall injured routine on Saturday with Farrell and Jones starting and maybe a new centre back in the building, that should do it for a win, it’s time Altrincham lost anyway.

Boyce and I reckon Evan’s will go this summer, Evan’s on his day is very good but he is worryingly picking up regular injuries and at his age it won’t improve. JB is a decent enough player at centre back or right back but we need a centre back freshen up before next season IMO.

Surely the worst is Iwelumo, the first living oak tree ever to attempt to play football yet looked more comfortable in a public park being static with all the other tree species around him.

Are so you would be a PS type of owner who would tell the actual football people what to do through the eyes of being just a fan like the rest of us? Very good , no doubt when your plans failed and you were sick of wasting money by being proved wrong you’d pull your money out and run away to the Caribbean to live out your days, very good well done.

Whitehall will always be an enigma in football terms, it’s just his way of playing which is at best effective because he continues to be our leading scorer but at worst a pathetic watch because of his shithousery tactics. Agree about Farrell looks a real prospect in the proper centre forward mould, would like to see him start on Saturday.

Deffo the worst game of football entertainment wise all season at the AA IMO, it lacked any real quality apart from a good debut by Jones who looks a decent signing on first showing. Smith continues to disappoint but had a golden one on one chance to give us a first half lead but blew it. Defensively we are all over the place and their stoppage time winner once again showed up our season long failure of being unable to defend the back stick properly, an unmarked free header in the 94th minute is totally unacceptable and our defence particularly at centre back and right back needs a big rethink in the summer plus we need a new centre back in now before the season ends. Bloody rubbish Iron if I may use one of our contributors handles to describe last night’s performance.

Yes all their ships are sunk but they sunk another the other day, must have missed that one first time around. The guy is mentally ill and showing increased signs of dementia, the 25th should be invoked and remove him as president, he needs medical treatment not the reins of power.

Another winger on the books, wouldn’t it be great if we played a system to incorporate two wingers and attack the hell out of teams, just a thought.

Starmer can’t do wrong for doing right TBF to him, keeping us out of this illegal action apart from defending our people and bases is fine by me, just because Trump says jump doesn’t mean we have to every single time. Trump says he does everything to put the USA first , I reckon Starmer has taken a leaf out his book on this occasion by putting the UKs interests first. As for Badenoch ( actually a great name for a right wing Tory ) saying Reeves’s should have knocked 5p a litre of petrol and derv at the last budget, yeah brilliant as if we can’t pay our way as a country enough as it is already. Will be surprised is she’s Tory leader come the next election, mind you many more defections and there won’t be a Tory party soon.

10 of the 19 games have being won by a 1 goal margin.
    5 games ended in draws.

    15/19 have had tight outcomes.

It’ll be a tight scrappy game.

    I’ve seen a 0-1 and a 1-2 AI prediction for the game… we’d be happy with either!

    0-3… tight & scrappy… lol

Maybe your choice of words about your pre match assessment should read “ light and crappy “, lol.

That Pete Hegseth is a piece of work as “Minister Of War “, ex Fox News presenter and a totally inappropriate choice to be anywhere near the Pentagon. He actually is smirking the whole time he is pointing out the devastation caused by the superior USA forces, he appears to be revelling in the death and destruction being wreaked on the Iranian people, complete bellend.

Surely it would be better if the contracts were awarded at the end of the season as the way we are playing at the moment when is the next win

Well that will apply to quite a few of the squad in particular the ones out on loan anyway but your nailed on better players need signing on ASAP IMO.

Iran is behaving like a wounded animal just lashing out in anger and fear, the big losers are the Iranian people but it’s always the innocent who end up picking up the tab for any war if truth be told. Trump and Israel have no exit plan for their actions and unless they put boots on the ground the Islamic Republic will continue and the ordinary Iranian citizen who wants fairness and freedom will be persecuted terribly, these dictatorships always take it out on the innocent when they get a good kicking. As for the UK it should protect its own bases and citizens out in the region as best it can and tell Trump bollocks if he’s not happy with our response, he’s a bully and a thug who has torn up the international rule book to follow his own agenda of deflection surrounding several issues concerning himself.

This has shades of the debacle that was Iraq, the yanks rushed in, deposed a tyrannical leader who was eventually executed and departed with no exit strategy in place for the region. Trump is doing exactly the same, he hasn’t a clue what is going to happy next and his failing old brain won’t even care, it will be about brownie points leading up to the mid terms but it will not wash with the majority of the American public.
