Or in Whitehalls case, doesn’t get fouled but still ends up on his a***. Yeah I know it’s totally different but it makes me chuckle thinking of how he plays most of the time.

Shouldn’t have come back in hindsight which of course is an easy thing to say I know.If the contract length turned his head over his partner and his own real feelings about staying in Scotland then let’s hope it’s a lifetime lesson learned, wish the lad well, if he’s unhappy he will never play well down in England.

I have this sneaky feeling that the current directors see our natural level as NLN… Just as Wharton’s mob saw it as League Two.

Ridiculous statement Alky. Even by your standards.

    Because?

I don’t believe there is a football club in the country that wishes it were in a lower league

But you know better of course.

No NI he “ thinks “ he knows better but as you point out the reality is entirely different.

Can you see anyone stopping us winning the league now.

You’re as funny as Rosie Jones.

Didn’t realise Jones’s first name was Rosie 🙄

This might raise a chuckle, Eastleigh 0 Iron 1, Whitehall recalled to the side nets the winner against his old club, could happen.

Nige hasn’t got time for any of that he’s more concerned about screwing the disabled and the chronically sick out of their benefit money if folk are daft enough to vote him in. Personally I’d vote bin every time over that right wing turd.

Poor goal to concede, totally avoidable. So we could have come away with a draw which we certainly didn’t deserve.

Team looked unbalanced. Pat Jones playing far too deep. Sloppy play from both fullbacks. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Barrows and Denton back against Eastleigh.

Pressure on Bultler if we don’t get three points next Saturday.

    Pressure on Butler?
She’ll extend his contract again in case bigger clubs come sniffing 🙄🙄🙄

Good thinking he could be our biggest transfer fee in years

I believe the player number squads are about the same 23/24 players per squad but Southend playing budget is around £600,000 pounds greater then the Iron budget , that’s just wages on players not staff and coaches. Basically they have better players overall than us because they pay them more so can attract better players to their club. It’s not rocket science or made up amounts it’s just basic logistics.

Similar disparity last season and we beat them 3 times out of 3. Higher salaries don’t always mean better players and higher budget certainly does not mean a better team. Thank goodness for that or professional football would not be worth watching.

Absolutely but it invariably in the end shows the bigger budgets win out most time, good job we have a gem of a manager in AB then, he must have been the difference last season

They’ve lost two of last seasons best players though and they have a rookie manager.
A couple of straws to clutch at.

…as we have lost two of last season’s best players, could be an interesting afternoon cass

Whitehall not in the squad, injured or kicked into touch? time will tell. Looks an attacking lineup on paper, let’s see how they do.
