‘AB says a lot doesn’t mean it’s all true.’

Agreed awaywego. Claims that Butler said he has an attitude are also untrue

He scored a cracking goal for Alty yesterday!
If Whitehall goes in the summer – will Stan deploy him as his No 9 next season?
Is Dec on a 2 year contract?

    Isn’t Whitehall on a 2 year contract?

Only one ‘con artist’ around the club in recent history and you licked his boots!

I don’t think fair criticism about his ‘methods’ means anyone wants to hang him.

Seen a comment on the Facebook group about Ewing being back to his best. Gotta be kidding me. He was chasing shadows first half, powder puff and ineffective. Better second half but hardly back to his best. He did put a shift in though.

Also enjoyed Radio Somerset commentary. Unbiased, honest and an easy listen. Refreshing compared to some of the idiots I’ve heard. Can’t beat Ollie and Torps mind. The real deal.

Liking Farrell and what Dausch brings out wide. I think we have enough options now without bringing Dec back personally.

First half was awful and Yeovil were extremely lucky to not go in ahead. Whitehall shithousery and general falling over strategy eventually got us a pen but we did not deserve to be ahead at that point of the game.

However, Dausch and Farrell changed the game when they came on, particularly with Dausch stretching Yeovil’s defence and getting in behind multiple times. Farrell was a handful, moves around well and should have had a hat trick. Smith did nothing, looks a different player to the one we had previously. Barrows awful (again)…gave the ball away at least into the double digit figures. Some in the crowd cheered when he got taken off which isn’t a great sign.

Overall, good away performance in the end and well happy to come away with 3 goals, 3 points and a clean sheet.

Having just watched the match on DAZN, Likely Lads style, I think that’s a fair assessment. Night and day halves. Much of the passing and link up play in the first was dire. Second half was a delight to watch. Happy with game management and subs. Smith struggled. Whitehall was worrying me after his first half yellow. I’d have been tempted to take him off sooner rather than going down to 10 but he cut out the shithousery second half. Looked like a pen from the footage. Some great link up play, movement and guile second half. Well happy with that. Onwards and upwards. Or play off cementing. UTI.

Home fans walked past the east stand and away fans walked past the west stand, gesticulating to each other.
I actually thought that the Fox Street stand was better, you definitely noticed the slope.

Cavernous old stand the Fox St wasn’t it. Yeah, the slope! You never realised till you were in there and saw it. Watched a fair few halves in there when opposition fans were minimal.

Can’t actually remember Deerey I’ll take your word on 77, did not the fans change ends when you started going to whichever way we were kicking.

Never recall the opposition fans swapping in to the DRE. Taking over, definitely. But not often.

‘I may have a different perspective to some on here, and probably would be less likely to oppose some kind of action if it meant protecting Iranians from their disgusting regime and in response to Iran’s terror plots in the Middle East and the west (British secret services have spoken of such attempts being foiled and we should be strong against that). However, this recent action has only shown how poorly thought out it is.’

I think that’s a view shared by many in the UK (if ‘some kind of action’ doesn’t involve bombing countries like a video game) if the recent opinion polls are to be believed and anecdotal evidence from overheard public conversations, Question Time and such. I know you think international law is toothless, and to some extent it is, but this underlines it’s importance to me. Of course, wannabe gangster Trump is going to flout it but it’s ironic that he’s actually more hawkish than previous Democrat governments that were accused of it, particularly Biden. Trump thinks decades of attempted problem solving over Iran can be fixed by obliterating with bombs. He’s a deluded spoilt moron way out of his grubby dealing depth, surrounded by nasty sychopants and weirdos.

When did segregation come in? And when do you remember segregation come in at the OSG? When I started going from 1977 onwards, it was in place. Thankfully!

Having mooched social media, I’m not clear on what Matt Ellis has done, said or posted online recently that has merited Stuart Maw to declare he is the reason for stepping back. Can’t see that Matt has mentioned him in the last few weeks at least. Have I missed something? Because as far as I can see, it’s an unwarranted claim. Think there may have been questions about the unity group in the past, not Stuart recently. Aware of the ‘grifter’ thing but that was ages ago.

Parading around like ‘Commanders’ from Handmaid’s Tale. Saw a pic of them praying with the Donald earlier. Good god! I’ve stronger words for Hegseth, Trump and Vance. The main one begins with C

    Blimey, all very dignified Stuart…

Is this the end of SUFC’s biggest ever narcissist?

Which one?! Thankfully no pics of his ‘end’ as a parting shot!

Went to Macclesfield, Stockport, and Wednesday but missed Swindon due to a cash flow problem at 14.

Should have got another paper round

I’m even more confused now. The same fans seem to be celebrating Swindon’s second half goals. Anyone who attended able to explain?

Neil was and still is a fan Deerey, and at the time you were the club basher not me I supported Swann.
On the club bashing itself its only their continued actions that get my goat, they’re the ones sucking up to different groups at the cost to others. And try selling us all types of snake oil at every opportunity. Selling us down the river with FC 100,000. They are not to be trusted imo.

Take the latest on the Official web page, couple of pages on praise for the Irish irons £500 donation towards the pitch fund, did the trust get as much praise for their £13,000 share purchase.
Isn’t that a clear indication where the club is.

On those two points, fc1000 and little Trust recognition I agree with you.

Deerey I was being sarcastic, they were things I myself heard said against him, thought you’d have realised when I said “how dare he” I fully supported Neil in his role lol.

Glad you clarified that. It did sound like just another one of your club bashing gripes.

‘wearing a suit at home games ffs, going in directors hospitality at home and away games’

Why are these such crimes to you? If you’re on the board it might be a good idea to wear a suit, depending who you’re meeting as a board rep that day. Same goes for frequenting directors hospitality. If he hadn’t been putting himself about and networking you’d have complained about that, probably.

Despite Southend drawing tonight, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them in the playoffs at our or FGR’s expense. Unless we sort out the defensive shambles but I’ve no faith in that happening with the current personnel.
