And talking of hideous chants we were greeted at Donny from the cods with “up the mariners up the mariners” just sing it in your head and it’s as cheesy as it was sung, could have been a group of 7 year olds singing at the school assembly instead of 30/40 years olds.
The only one comparable was hearing hull singing tigers tigers rah rah rah.

Isn’t that the intention of drinking to get ones self merry, or is it that people see the need to drink copious amounts and be totally compos mentis.
Nowt clever in either but specially the latter what a waste of money, not like anyone needs to drink that much liquid.

Common theme there Northwestiron, southyorksiron and twowrights guess out of towners don’t like the drumming.
Funny thing is one of them stood ten foot in front of him, weird really in such a massive stand.

Ps, Haven’t been to Halifax in a long time from the dump it was with the speedway track around it and stood on cinder banking, to now the best non league ground I’ve been to puts our tin shed to shame.

Dec so nearly scored with is first touch, he was loving it and milking the crowd at the end with big dick belehouan absolutely loved his song.
Bossed the game up to the equaliser then we seemed to go into our shell, come out second half and improved as they went along, without having much of a chance Whitehall played people in often enough there just couldn’t finish it off.
Should have had that penalty luckily it didn’t matter.
Best police and stewards in along time not overbearing and we’re very tolerant, Scunny fans had the run of the town, non of the pubs were off limits just policed well.
Turned out the 2 grandsons new to it aren’t really footy fans at the moment hey ho.
On the plus side I’ve taken 8 grandsons to their first Scunny away games and not one of them come away with a defeat. Mind 2 of them are donny and one’s a imp fan.
Very disappointing if there was only 1400 of us there, like i said though Halifax were probably on the make.

Hope so IFA taking 4 grandsons today 2 for their first ever away game always like to start them with a big one.
Should certainly open their eyes to what it’s all about, does seem like the 9.08 is going to be rammed to the rafters.
Son and mates on the 8.08 about 30 of us in total tis One of the lads remembrance day they take him to.
Expecting at least 2000 of us though the true number might not be known with pay on the gate, chance for Halifax to be on the rob.

Cheeky bastard’s warning fans of there behaviour tomorrow, bet they didn’t warn the National league and EFL of their behaviour originally arranging scunny and cods travelling in numbers on the same trains to both of their nearest games on the same day.
Halifax doing their bit by letting premier and EFL club season ticket holders in for only £15 and non segregated to boot.
Nothing could go wrong could it.

Like you say apple and pears comparisons, nigh on £5 million wage bill back then.
But I’ll just take it back to Op a small adjustment is not 17% and that being the least increase, honesty and transparency is not to much to ask.

And Scunny were the club that was lying.
What don’t you get that Scunny said the loan period was a month and Altrincham official site said till the end of season. If he was only there a month Scunny would have put up they were extending his loan till season end like they did with Maison which I did point out at the time, but they didn’t did they.
Don’t make me bring back all my posts on different threads to show you what I said.
Ps, you never did answer back on the York thread about Alty fan or NI for that matter.

The Alty fan was right about the loan period, I’ve never mentioned a rift between him and Butler on their forum.
You do realise that scunny invoked the 24hr recall from his season long loan don’t you Deerey.

From what everyone says would seem we played really well last night, hope everyone can be a bit more positive on our chances in the playoffs now, it’s all down to which team turns up on the day.
And even then you can win without, we were a one half team last season in the playoffs, the season before Boston hardly deserved it.
On the crowd last night I thought it was poor to crowds we’ve had before, can’t blame fans the footy over a long period doesn’t encourage bums on seats and not everyone is happy with just the 3 points, manager fan comments won’t have helped either. And the begging bowl mentality that’s crept in.
Casuals want to buy into something with positivity.

Normally takes 2 to tango 64,
Grandson knows of a few lads (only youth mind) coming from Bradford and Doncaster for the game it’s non league day on Saturday ya know, anyone who wants a footy fix ours is the stand out game, no Leeds no Sheffield no Donny or Bradford playing.
    Expect trouble.

Don’t think anybodys been asking for Dec to be in the starting 11 other than Renee but most want him at least on the bench.
All for him being punished if they have fallen out, always back the manager on that one, but you certainly don’t reward the guy by giving into his demands if that be the case and certainly not just to make him happy.
All that matters is what’s good for our team, he’s OUR player and he’s scoring goals we’ve let Carlton who’d come up with the odd crucial goal, better Howe than some unproven loanee, Butler’s hardly likely to find another gem like Farrell his strike rate on new players isn’t that good.

Ps, Apollo Butler’s not been backwards when coming forward of criticising fans on numerous issues.
So I’m reasonably happy there’s no dressing room shenanigans.

Don’t mind an increase but trying to sell it as small adjustment isn’t right.
And certainly object to the under 18s going up 20% not many under 18s earn anything so that adds to mum dad or grandads in my case outgoings.
Whatever happened to a rise inline with inflation or set percentage every year.
Obviously affecting others, on tuther side a couple of females saying they’ll need the finance option this year.

Twill be an interesting conversation between Butler and whoever he sent to watch Dec last night.
Commentators said Dec was the best player on the pitch by a country mile.

If he weren’t our player you’d imagine we’d be interested in him.
One would be imagine he’s on the radar of a lot of other clubs by now.
Be interesting to know where both of their thought are, more for next season than this.

Maybe the club was embarrassed about the minutes been released, at around the time Michelle had said the debts were almost paid down, but then in the meeting it was then said the club needed an extra £65,000 a month of which was being loaned by certain directors.
Not exactly the debts been paid down far from it.

Their attitude will only turn more fans to be like me who dislike the club itself. And will cost the club money in the long run.
They tell us we’re all in it together but then do everything in their power to do the opposite,
