Hopefully Mr Swann is going to back Keith in January where possible and stay out of the playing side of the club and leave the management to their jobs to carry on with their jobs.

    Hopefully?

    I’ll wager he’ll do neither.

    Great away win.
I so hope I’m wrong and lose my £10.

But on a serious note, how can a certain unnamed player be slated by one and all over the last half dozen games, and then turn in a mom performance today?

Ah lads, surely we still believe that Swann knew best, that he had the club’s interests foremost?

The Milwall game is also memorable as they had a good side. Some of the Millwall nutters dressed as surgeons!!

I remember probably the last non-segregated home derby against the Cods, the fighting in the Donny Road End was pretty much the whole game.
Strikers, we had Cassidy, they had a guy called Stuart Brace, their No7.
Some of the Grimsby fans wore long white coats, like lab coats iirc.
    I think that was 68/9.
My sister had to be taken out of the dre after being struck on the head by a missile thrown by one of the Cod fans.
I only found out when I got home.

    Happy days?
    Only in some ways.

    Hill schmill.
My money is still firmly on non-league for the foreseeable future, many of us will never see a return to league football.
Merry Christmas Swann, you utter turd.

As the missus & I recall, at the Shareholders meeting Swanny said work would begin on the flats ‘in a couple of weeks’, not the stand. We live away from Scunny, so dunno if anything’s actually happened in the car park area that’s going to be developed??

    Nothing we can see.

Depends who the debt is with.
Ours must have been owed to Coolsilk?
Hence we gave them the ground and land.

But three things come to mind?
    Are we still losing money?
    If so, at what rate?
And how do “we” pay off any new debt accrued?

It’s amazing you aren’t in charge of a Premier League team WG, the way you see everything in the game so clearly and so easily. Your ability to spot things that people who have worked in the game all their lives miss is incredible.

    Ah…but do they miss them?
    Or wilfully ignore them?

Oh it’ll be some sort of non-criminal hate crime.
They don’t have to prove those, just send the thought police to check your thinking.
Then stick you on their database.
Nowt you can do after that.

Although it just might change after a recent high court decision.

“the owner cannot be arsed to attend, so why does he think that we should!!!!!!!”

    There’s the kicker.

Do as I say, not as I do…he must be a politician.
    He’s certainly an idiot.

And there still seem to be some on here as think we’ll be OK now Hill is here.
0 wins in 8 says different.

Exactly as I predicted when the usual suspects naively thought we’d turned the corner with the odious Swann.

First off he STILL blames covid and refuses to accept it’s his fault.

    And not clearing the loan?
    The man’s a turd.

Nothing will change at the Swannshit stadium until he and his family move on.

    Going down.

Cowardly Frogs should be puncturing the boats as they are trying to put them in the water.
But THEY want shut of these marvellous additions to society… can’t think why.
Meanwhile Lichfield this week turned up a Romanian Big Issue seller, adding to society in the UK.

Ooooh, oooh, we are sooooo scared of something about as catching, AND AS SERIOUS as the common cold

Says the nappy wearing baby that’s scared of a needle.

    Puerile reply.
I dont wear the face nappy and have my flu jab yearly.
    Any more soft lad responses?

A few weeks back I lost a close friend to Covid. None of my other friends have died from a cold or flu.

    Lost two mates to flu.
    There you go.
Flu is still a bigger threat, yet we dont panic over it.
    Google it.

Give me a example of ANY year where common cold deaths are anywhere close to Covid levels. Selfish attitude IMO, thankful that we’ll never meet. Open your eyes to what’s happening in the real world rather than just your house.

Im on about the new moronic variant.
And if you confuse death figures by including first off those who died WITH covid alongside those who died OF covid, then confuse things further by insisting that anyone who dies of anything including road traffic accidents, within 28 days of a positive test, be recorded as a covid death, what do you expect from the more intelligent of us except scepticism?

    Open YOUR eyes.

And your comment about never meeting? Is that a threat?

Ooooh, oooh, we are sooooo scared of something about as catching, AND AS SERIOUS as a common cold.
    Let’s all panic….NOT!!!

And meanwhile, the usual suspects on here advocate a two tier society because those of us who are unvaccinated are somehow unclean.
Shall we wear yellow stars too? And all move to ghettos?

What a bunch of cowardly Nazis 😅😅😅😅

Meanwhile, my “covid pass” works great😉🤭😉🤭

Going by Hills reaction to the constant question ” could you please tell us about the prospect of the transfer embargo being lifted ? ” it appears he’ll have to wheel and deal.

I’m pretty sure Swann won’t pay up to lift it, can’t see it happening going by what Hill’s been saying.

    Yep.
This, and falling too far behind by January, have been worrying me for a while.

And even if a miracle does happen, and we can get somebody in who can make a difference, (we all know we’ll be waiting for the dregs again, since who in their right mind wants to join the club who’ve been rock bottom for a while), and how long before they are match fit enough to do so?

And how far adrift will we be by then?
    Worrying times indeed.

Our GD is the worst in our league.
So we now have to get four more points than the teams sitting outside the drop zone in two games, to go above them.
One win will no longer do it, which is what worried me weeks ago.
And without wins, our GD remains the same.😟

    Not looking good.

    “Three good signings in January”?

    Two points NI:

    1. That would be a first under Swann.
In fact one would be surprising.
    2. Has he paid off the loan? Is he going to? Because if not, there’s not likely to be even one digning, lrt alone any good ones.

But hey, what do I know?

    I’m so glad Hill came.
We’re now on course to finish with 35 points, which will keep us up…oh… wait.
    Nope, still going down.

And what news of the mythical paying off of the EFL loan, oh happy clappers?
