Back in the side next week then?
I’m so glad Hill came.
We’re now on course to finish with 35 points, which will keep us up…oh… wait.
Nope, still going down. And what news of the mythical paying off of the EFL loan, oh happy clappers?
Are we sure this isn’t just a comedy film?
On my reckoning we’ll now reach the massive total of 36 points this season.
Won’t keep us up.
What’s the record lowest number of points ever, barring deductions? We do set records under Swanny, don’t we?Meanwhile, loads on here still talking about January.
Have any of you got insider info that Swanny has paid off the loan that is hampering our ability to make signings, or will do so?Because if not, clouds and cuckoos come to mind.
What?
The club hasn’t made it clear?
Surely not?
🤭😄🤭😄And maybe his interest in staying too?
I do like your optimism.
Must get depressing being wrong, though?😄😄I’m more worried about us scoring goals.
And conceding soft goals, and being toothless in midfield, and having a dodgy defence, and being ineffective in front of goal, and …oh…and everything.
Aye.
Right.2-0 Steve-oh
Stay aways returning: maybe. Some actual wins would help.
Swann clears the loan: unlikely IMHO.
Swann backs the manager: see 2.
That would be a good idea.
Disinfo, though. The wait goes on for a victory?
Well apparently we’ll get three wins and a draw from our next four games.
Excuse me while I go and watch that herd of pigs fly by😄😄😄😄😄
Aye.
Shock! Horror!!Training injury was it?
I really, truly hope you are right.
I’d like to lose the £10 I have on us for relegation, but I don’t think I will.1 user thanked author for this post.
With players getting fitter and better game on game, you have to wonder, what the feck was going on under Neil Cox?
May this march onwards and upwards continue. UTBI
Upwards?
Heads up, we’re still rock bottom by one point.
Playing better, maybe, but yet to achieve anything.
We’ve gone from mathematically being online for 33.2 points to 33.9.
Still not enough by a long throw.BTW, Bartoniron:
“Hard to beat”?
Lost three of the last six.
Does not compute, does not compute….Thanks to both
And eho pays for all the juicy overtime?
The club😟Insults? Pretty good at them yourself. If Hill isn’t the answer, please feel free to give the answer.
There’s always answers.
Just not enough money.
Still no apology?
I was right and uou were wrong.
A simple “sorry” will do.🙂Les, it’s good that you are trying yo show optimism, but please try and keep it realistic.😄😄😄
And the solicitor’s letter is on it’s way 😄
November 25, 2021 at 4:20 pm in reply to: Review calls for radical shake up of English football #218472Once again the emphasis is on the PL, it’s as though nothing matters outside of it.
Lower leagues now mean less than women’s footy. and less than Scottish prem.
Footy results were always in order from div 1 to div 4, THEN Scottish.
Different now.Swann talks a good talk, and is pretty good at deflecting.
Astute businessman though? Not on your nelly.
Destroyed a club “run as a hobby” by his own arrogance, intransigence and stupidity.4 users thanked author for this post.
Burrows and Burkinshaw toghether as I recall ( Someone will correct me if that’s wrong ).I sure remember Frank playing for us, hard as nails and a very solid defender. Things you do remember like he took a pen once and stuck it right in the top corner of the Donny Road End where all us young lads were gathered behind, dont see many pens like that anymore, not at Scunny anyway. RIP Frank thanks for the memories.
Yep.
Goalie went the wrong way.
I wuz there.“All I’m saying is, going by the maths, we’re down”.
Alcy wants you all to bow down to him at the end of the season as the only one on here who said we are going down. The guru!!
Everyone knows the team is crap, we are bottom of the league and we know how many points we have. All you are doing is stating the bleeding obvious.
You are pointing the finger at Hill, but somebody needs to manage this team and try to improve them. Looks an almost impossible task, but at least he is improving the players fitness and providing motivation that has been lacking for over 18 months.
Shut up, lefty libtard that you are.
I’m pointing the finger at no-one.
I’m pointing OUT that MAYBE Hill isn’t the answer, and MAYBE we are too far off being save-able for Hill or anyone to do owt.Get over the FACT that I’ve been right more often than not, write the apology you owe me for previous insults etc and then do one.
Or aren’t you man enough to admit it?
Swann has fallen out with virtually anyone who could have helped him.
Astute businessman?
Nope.
Utter w@nker.1 user thanked author for this post.
Do you think Simon has enough influence to get Max bell sacked and get in a more objective reporter?.
Mmm, lick, suck….oh Mr Swann….
If the club sell on Wilson eithout the fans ever getting to see him feature, that is truly shameful.
There’s cashing in and there’s theft.1 user thanked author for this post.
I’m not berating Hill, for those on this thread who still think he’s the messiah.
But I did read post after post when he was appointed about how he would tighten things up, make the players do this that and the other and generally, we were saved.
We aren’t saved by a long way.
All I’m saying is, going by the maths, we’re down.
Shuffled the team again.
Different setup again. But same old same old.
Now two draws and three defeats.
Maybe this guy ain’t the answer some on here thought he was?Our present form, if it continues, will see us finish with 33 points.
Do teams stay up with that number?
Dho STILL thinks we can escape?
Because I don’tI might break my promise in May to go and watch our last ever league game.
Well they better get their collective finger out because I’ve paid for a ticket for tomorrow’s game, last chance saloon.
Optimism?
Or masochism? -
