    See, this is snother mystery.
When Hill was touted as coming, those in the know on here seemed to be saying he’d favour Pugh over the loanees and that Wilson would surely get some game time.
Indtead we are back with the same set of players, seemingly different formats every week, but much the same set of results.
    What has actually changed?

    Nah.
    You’re all wrong.
Apparently Hill will solve every problem, probably including Covid and climate change, and those of us who have been trying to get others to see the problems at the club have no right to point out the problems because…. we don’t attend games.

Interesting article on Grimsby telegraph by the owner of the cods, wanting financial regulations to be brought in the national League, he said this year they will make a significant loss (with 6000 crowds) just tells you what the wage structure is down there, and people don’t believe swanny when he said we need 3000 to make ends meet.

I wouldn’t believe Swanny if he told me today is Thursday.

Been saying the same all season.
At least we’ll have some new grounds to go to.

EVEN IF NOWT HAPPENS WITH OURS YET AGAIN, EH, SWANNY?

    Who does alcy support ?

I’ve heard he’s propped up the bar quite a few times over the last fifty years.

    Longer than that.

    “You never did credit me”.

So you just proved the point I was making!

    LOL, if you like.
Just admit I was right, you were wrong and you can then start to get over it.

It’ll make you feel better and you can stop peddling cr@p to try and nake me look bad.

To be fair there’s nowt else to bank on really!

Well, yes, but I meant he’s optimistic that Hill both can, and will, sort the mess.
    I’m not.
I don’t do optimism…been disappointed too many times in my life.

Alcy actually wants us to go down. He values being proven to be right far higher than the future of the club he supposedly supports. He is right that we are on target for 35 points and if correct we will go down. But it’s too early to throw in the towel.

    This old chestnut?
You never did credit me that I was right about Swann very early on, when saying what I did brought condemnation, derision and abuse.

Now you’re trying to peddle the idea that, because you don’t like what I’m saying, I’m somehow less of a supporter than you.

    Give it up, mate.
    Just apologise and move on.🙂

Migrants don’t have much difficulty NI.

Didn’t have you down as one of those types Mick.

And if you mean “being rescued after weeks or months of dangerous & uncertain travel” is “not much difficulty”, then I’m not going on holiday with you!

The travel would be far less dangerous and uncertain if they headed towards some of their richer neighbours.

So Pugh starts on the bench and Wilson can’t even make that.

1-1, with less possession at home and 1/3 of the shots on target that the opposition managed.
And it’s not like they were a top side.
Plus ca change, plus c’est le meme chose.
A point at home isn’t enough.
    Going down.

0-2, Salford to score two in the last quarter of an hour.

    But rarely did.
Sadly he was a luxury player we couldnt afford.

And to me, sadly, epitomises many many young entitled players these days.

Seriously…just how many young players have we seen arrive on the England scene over the last ten or so years, bigged up to be the next messiah?
    Anc how many were/are?

I’m not holding my breath for any major changes.
It doesn’t matter who the manager is, who the players are, what system is played.
Results have been pretty much the same: dull, boring, negative.

Anyone expecting it to change because we have ANOTHER new manager is in for disappointment.

And I don’t believe much will change until Swann has gone.

Has Mr Hill given an interview or made any statements to the media yet? not seem or heard owt, if so where ?
All i picked up was a short vid of him taking a first training session on twitter

Give the guy chance, he’s got to get used to Swann’s arm up his back end before he can “say” owt.

The song was sung at a scunny match by scunny fans why should it be put in non football?.

Quite right Awaywego and as for the thread being disrupted onto other things, that simply arose from an unnecessary untruth from BS that had nothing to do with this discussion and then the fake accounts of Big Joke and Yossarrian Lives piling in with their own particular brands of disruption based on nothing more then shit stirring but hey it’s what these people do on a regular basis. Let’s hope the racist singing you heard in the last home game is heard no more at GP or any sporting venue for that matter.

youre not innocent mr snore. we can see youre a racist and want travellers dead

What an utterly ridiculous and groundless post.

They relay peoples drive ways, cut corners and only do half a job,

Do they also tar people with the same brush, or is that your job?

How long was KK at the Iron before making his debut?
    Ditto Ray Clemence?
    And Kevin Kilmore?
    Neil Cox himself?

We’ve tried playing safe, sticking to to the experienced players and are still rock bottom.
What do de have to lose?
Because the present system isn’t working

    LOL at the above.
There’s apologist, then there’s cloud cuckoo land.
Next time they come and camp on the land bordered by Doncaster Road, Collinson Avrnue and Berkeley Juniors, I’ll invite you to come and meet them.

    This time they:
Left filth, refuse and debris it took NLC a fortnight to clean up…in hazmat suits.
Broke down most of the hundreds of young trees planted that Spring. Many won’t recover.
Paraded up and down local roads in the wee small hours shouting abuse and, “We’re back! F*ck all you can do! Can’t stop us! F*ck off!”
Terrorised local shopkeepers, arriving mob janded and stealing eith impunity.
Caused untold damage to local leisure facilities with their vehicles.
Went on a spree breaking into sheds, garages and outbuildings.

Local police would not attend…indeed, were frightened to come even when the council FINALLY managed to get an order for the pikeys to move on.

Three and a half weeks of misery for local residents.

So take your sycophant post and shove it.

Jai Rowe might one day make it as a centre back but right now he is our best right back so needs to play there.

Even if Pugh was a decent stand in right back (he isn’t) he is our most consistent midfielder so needs to play there.

Won’t take Mr Hill long to work out these things.

Or at least…we are all hoping it won’t.
And hoping even more that “no-one” interferes, meddles or tries to help…this time.
