Who played CB after Boyce, Horton & Starbuck went off? Scales? – to win all the high balls into the box!
Good result BTW, well done lads.

“ I guess my people who flock to shake my hand at trust corner most games would disagree with you”

Better watch out AWG, “his people” might be on the lookout for you.

But with 64 he makes out he’s been to games when he hasn’t.

Surely you’ve worked out by now that he doesn’t have to know much about a subject to have an opinion on it that can’t be disputed.

I’d suggest they might have overrated Rochdale (17 point gap, surely not) and underrated Carlisle (36 points behind Rochdale?)

That 2nd half was hard work (watching) Passing was awful and ball retention dire, must do better. (But we won!!!)

He’s done us before, very enthusiastic isn’t he? Good research enabling him to easily identify the players, shame nobody told him we don’t play in maroon or purple.

“National League side Aldershot Town have appointed John Coleman as their new manager. The 63-year-old has almost 30 years of managerial experience and has coached the likes of of Accrington Stanley, Rochdale and Gillingham.”

    Bad timing for us?

I admire your sentiments Deerey but that’s the way of the world sadly. I was watching football from the late 50’s, a time when things were as you’d like them to be now. We’ll never see those times again.
“2-4-6-8 who do we appreciate” and all that. Small boys in the park, jumpers for goalposts wasn’t it. Aaaaah nostalgia.

Let’s hope they don’t have a new manager in place before Saturday, we don’t want their players trying to impress a new guy.

Would he have been so “sensitive” if FGR had won?

England’s Number 1 won’t have slept well this weekend! Worse than anything that our keepers have done this season. It happens to the best, let’s remember that.

Evans has been magnificent this season, however, had he taken either of his opportunities (both routine) to clear then we wouldn’t be discussing Watson.

Mine was OK after 5 minutes or so. Initially static camera, subbuteo players and no commentary. (The latter was preferable to the actual commentary)
Lucky point, 3 possibly 4 schoolboy errors for their goal. Too many had an off day.

Some players can be rotated without noticably weakening the team (Denton/Horton, Boyce/JB, Howe/TSF) and some can’t.

Outclassed by a very good side, second half effort deserved a point but game could have been over by HT.
Have Howes goals disguised the fact that his passing is shocking, lost or gave away the ball almost every time he touched it.

I was puzzled by Butler’s use of Whitehall for 20 minutes on Saturday. I’m even more confused now he’s not in tonight’s squad. Ewing a big loss, OK for Saturday I hope.

I suspect (guess) that 2 coming in is dependent on 2 going out first.
It’s possible that ending Eze’s loan is proving a problem (although it’s no good for Bolton if he isn’t playing) and we’re having trouble finding a home for any others.

Pity Roberts seems to have lost his shooting boots, Seems more inclined to go outside and cross with his “wrong” foot this season.
