Not sure what’s going on with positivity Dave, but he spawned out of nowhere on Gareth’s post match reactions. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he’s not a club plant of some sort. In my opinion he’s too cringy not to be.

A mate of Boycie’s father in law isn’t he?

Please forgive a techno dinosaur. I’ve found this on DAZN and the OWS but can’t find a start button, all I’ve got is the front page, where do I go from there?

Personally, I would have let three players’ wages be removed and spent it all on a big, commanding, midfield general.

That might be what Richards is supposed to be.

Deerey you credit me with a memory capacity that I don’t have. It’ll be the one on the day we signed him I expect.

Don’t think I’ve seen this mentioned anywhere: utterly baffling why Gayle was tasked with the no 10 role. Looked like a fish out of water

Butler told us in interview that Gale was not a striker but a number 10.
Don’t know who told Butler, Gale maybe?

I’d start Richards, Ogle, Gale & Horton on Tuesday as the 4 from previous Saturday and let them play the 90 because I wouldn’t start them at Eastleigh.
Campbell, Rose, Smith, Hurst, Parker, JB & Starbuck surely have to be given a chance to claim a starting place. Minutes for Whitehall, Denton, Rowley, Beestin & Barrows should do the job and give Butler a better idea of his best XI.

Butler seems to find it easy to get it wrong.

Considered thoughts again after a nights sleep.
We were completely outplayed by a very good team made to look almost world class by dreadful opposition.
Without Jones (awful kicking aside), woeful finishing, a post and a ref that, IMO, missed 2 penalties it could have been 7 or 8, a result that both sides deserved.
Barrows became a better RB retrospectively after watching Ogle.
Pleased to see the pointless Howe/Evans Chuckle Brothers passing given a rest. The only positive that I could see. No doubt there will be others from you know where but even he’ll struggle I think.
Didn’t like to get a downer on a player after one game last week but has anybody yet seen what Richards does? It’s like playing with 10 men.
Brennan and Gale join Beestin in the ” Look better as a sub than a starter” club.
No matter how much AB would like Pat Jones to be a RWB he’s not, stop trying.
Last weeks “wing wizards” were completely outwizarded.
How can a team chasing an equaliser fail to have an effort on goal in the second half?

Not tall enough or has to justify signing Richards?

They’ve lost two of last seasons best players though and they have a rookie manager.
A couple of straws to clutch at.

“Whilst at Scunthorpe Utd” Reports suggest the losses were mainly equine based.

I reckon he’s got more money than he knows what to do with. I keep expecting him to be the new investor that we need.

IMO he’s 1 out of 1 for getting selection wrong. He’s talking about knowing how fit Denton will be by tomorrow, it’s irrelevant if Horton is fit, give Denton another week to make sure.

“Over the last 2 seasons I have often left Iron games thinking I have seen evidence of a game plan to stop the opposition but very little evidence of a game plan on how we are going to score.”

We had a game plan last season – Plan A “give it to Roberts” Plan B errrrrrrm?

“Ross Barrows was everywhere for the home side on Saturday.”

Except on the back post for the Yeovil goal.

With the squad we have and AB’s insistence that players must fight to keep the shirt there needs to be more than one change in personnel for Saturday.

Unfair comparison, Danny had played over an hour before Gale came on.

I think Whitehall might take a while to realise he’s no longer getting top quality service from Roberts and might have to work a bit harder. Having said that he certainly deserves better than he got on Saturday. Jones and Brennan both look capable of providing the ammo when the three of them sort out what’s required. Given the chance Butterfield’s dead ball delivery should also provide opportunities.
Too much negativity about a player that’s been a top player for us since he came. I can understand opponents complaints about his conduct but he’s our player and, IMO, deserves our support. There are worse exponents of the dark arts higher up the football pyramid that don’t attract such criticism. Start scoring Danny and shut the moaners up!
