Wasn’t Cliff Byrne on loan initially from Sunderland before signing? One of our longest serving and loyal club players we have ever had, don’t make em like Cliff anymore.

Hayes was on loan from Norwich, Keogh from Leeds too. Both good loanees who impressed.

Best loan player I saw with us was Danny Wilson, ran midfield whilst barely getting out of second gear, just oozed class, far too good for us but I’m glad he stayed for awhile.

Both don’t just want to play in midfield. As IA puts it they want to run it. Great to see.

cant disagree – Wilson was the best player out of the 22 on the pitch every week, whoever we played

Lansbury was far to good for League 1 so the opposition just booted him half the time.

Thought he’d do well when he went to Forest but that didn’t work out
