    Morecambe 20/1
    Scunthorpe 22/1
    Halifax 28/1

    Altrincham 33/1
    Hartlepool 33/1
    Sutton United 40/1
    Tamworth 50/1

    Solihull Moors 66/1
    Gateshead 80/1
    Eastleigh 80/1

Yeovil 100/1 isnt a bad bet ..new owners and big budget

Scunny fairly priced IMO but its a funny old game and literally anyone could have a crazy season and win it.

Bookies have us as play off contenders? I’ll take that!
Agree with IFA re Yeovil, don’t expect that 100/1 to last long.

Depends about Yeovil, maybe the new owner is a property developer who wants to sell off the ground and shut the club down, who knows time will tell.

One would need to actually own the ground before being able to sell it.

Much the same accusation made about Hilton selling the ground when not owning it, remind me what was Hiltons intentions when buying the club.

Wasn’t it his intention to try buying the stadium off Swann after claiming he was good for the money but then appeared not to be? What his intentions were had he miraculously got the ground with his magic beans is purely speculative.

You’d be a right thicko if you couldn’t see it was Ironawe who brought Hilton into the discussion.
Your not that thicko are you Deerey.
Swanny and others were showed proof he had the money unless you think they were lying, what proof have you got to say he didn’t, don’t get me wrong i understand that Hilton never wanted the ground himself but that doesn’t mean to say that he couldn’t fund it.

I never mentioned David Hilton Awaywego, where in my post about Yeovil did I mention him?

    Fair odds re Scunny IMO
Two stand outs Yeovil at 66 and Brackley 200/1 … worth a tenner ??

Cant see past York Southend or Carlisle for the title…FGR be up there for sure also.

Those odds put us in a play off spot which exceeds most of our expectations.
Carlisle price is ridiculous IMO, their fans will be expecting to win every game – sound familiar?

You gotta think York will be strong favourites; over the 46 matches they were so far ahead of third place and they’ve strengthend their squad over the close season.

Non League Paper – 16th June

Who Are The Favourites to Go Up from the 2025/2026 National League?

    Scunthorpe
Newcomers, Scunthorpe, are perhaps the most surprising name on the list, as they’ll be making their return to the league after a 3-year stint in the National League North.

However, the odds suggest they may have a chance of pulling an underdog story and making it through to promotion on their first try. With a 10/1 chance of upsetting the big boys, it won’t be lost on the fans and players what they stand to gain if they can pull a rabbit out of the hat.

    did I miss something?

Well it was a two year stint in the National League North not three and last week one of these excellent non league papers reckoned Jimmy Dean was still our manager, best ignored they can’t get basic facts right never mind giving tips on whose favourites to go up.

I realise you had twigged Rene but these people just don’t research things properly unless it’s Liverpool or Man U.
