Every time Joey Dawson was near to inclusion in the first team squad he seemed to pick up and injury does the Cam Wilson scenario smack of similar? Let’s hope not.

With Joey Dawson it was more wishful thinking but from my info he was injured and was not available. It was like the contract talks thing – he was not signing and it was known.

He arrived with 31 league games to go. He has to look at all those available in 1st team games and then he can see what his starting 11 would be. Suspect his last possible several player changes will be on saturday against bradford.

We know some are not good enough and he will be writing his own list of future departures. In his Orient post match Mr Hill rates Tom Pugh and Mason O’Malley who look like they bought into what the Gaffer wants.

He has a colossal job to do and I sincerely hope he can arrest the decline. 8 years of continuous poor recruitment, attitude by the board to fans over their concerns about the club.

And here we are another manager who should have been here 1 or 2 months earlier having to work with some players that would struggle in local league football. Now Mr Hill has to battle away until the January window when he has to be given the chance to recruit players who are interested. Simon, will be able to liase over this and correct the disjointed plan ( if we actually had one in the first place ).

    Again, good luck.

I sent a text to Lee Turnbull last night to see what he makes of it all and he replied, just keep believing Mick.

Hope he is well, is he anywhere.

Sounded as though Mr Perry did not impress Mr Hill yesterday.

The manager said he let him know at the end of the game ! I bet he did, in training good things get credits bad things are mentioned vocally !!

Bizarre !!! Understatement, gets assaulted by an idiot and receives a 2nd yellow then a red.

    Poor refereeing.

Don’t understand why any of the loan players are stating !

Wilson, Pugh and Jessop would put in much more effort.

Where have you seen about the FFP Sanfran? With Stockwood calling for financial restraints I thought it wasn’t happening yet.

Pretty sure I read an article and several times FFP was mentioned because some people were buying non-league clubs for very little and using their resources to try to buy the league title.

Just getting those that were allowed to cruise fit will make a huge difference. Because it identifies the favourites of the ex-manager.

With Keith Hill some will be buzzing, they will be getting real direction and guidance. But there will certainly cards being marked.

Most say the squad needs a couple of recruits, in January I would think Mr Hill some names in mind. He will sort it of that I am sure.

Thought Paddy was outstanding. That is where it all started to fall apart at GP, when the then manager put Paddy out on the right wing for whatever point he was trying to prove !

And Paddy is on £3500k / week, that diivision will be subjected to FFP next season so hope they have their houses in order.

Canavan. Songo’o, Sutton, Gillihead, Robinson, Vernam = 6

    sub Eisa = 1

    = 7

Well spotted MM. There are cetainly quite a few in clusters – Salford had 3 who had worn the shirt.

Sounds as though no signed contract.

    So consequences must be known.

Listened to an interview on radio hullberside today with him, I couldn’t believe what he was saying about being told by mr Cox at the start of this season that there was no chance of a new contract and he should find a new club.

How can you get players motivated with them knowing that they will be leaving the club no matter what they do or perform, think more will come out slowly and maybe Mr Cox was not the nice guy we all thought.

Cox did little for those he wanted out.

Rory always had the talent just no managerial support. So good for him.

In just over a week the manager will have been in charge for 3 games. 2 of these have been used to look at the players available.

442 for me and I would have Wilson as the Right Wing Back. Could Thompson and O’Malley be the left side FB and WB ? Up top Loft and Scrimshaw. Pugh and Beestin in centre mid. Back 4 as said.

Hakeeb not going well at Lincoln,I am not sure the move to Bristol was the correct one

It wasn’t, but his agent drove the deal. He made the money, think it was a 3yr deal, but certainly badly advised if he wanted to go higher. Bit like Josh Wright head turned by other things and career went backwards. Great shame.

Gave an interview to Matt Dean yesterday and it was on Radio Humberside – 15 mins. Compared to the previous manager very uplifting.

There is going to be an item on Look North today [ the 12th ].

Would be interesting if Mr Lillis gave his view on his time back at GP.

People may then get an real insight. It may surprise.

Matt is OK, been his granddad’s funeral today but his dad isn’t feeling very well either so that is the reason no Predictions last night, but will be putting Saturdays on tomorrow and then will update the previous results which have been missed.

But family has to come first.

Top lad is our Matt. Has to be an issue for him if something is amiss.

We are lucky, best to him and his family.

The reason why I hope to see more academy lads come through is because it boosts the aspirations of the others.

Plus it helps attract better U16’s going forward.

Hill will give them all a chance. The concern for me was reading how many of Doncasters players came from their academy in last nights game. The young line-up went 3 up against an older squad of Scunthorpe !

Want to see a RB actually as a right back, could not understand why Mr Cox saw Jai Rowe as a CB, but there again he had signed Millen so Millen would start if fit no matter previous failings.

The is only one person responsible for the demise in the gates – Mr Peter Swann.

It isn’t going to move by much until HE owns the reasons why and the ego will not allow it.

Whoever the manager looks at will be an investment. Therefore priority will be fitness and injury record, you know what we are like for recruiting ones with limps !!

In Peter Swanns last Humberside interview he did say we were still under our budget which means we can recruit. Not sure if we are allowed to pay a fee for though.

Also stated if it takes the loan to be be repaid next year then it will be !!

Until, either it does or does not happen we will have to wait.
