EFL loan has to go first otherwise – we have zero chance with it outstanding.

How do we get out of this mess ?
Unless the EFL get the loan back we seem to have little movement available regards to bringing new players in who can change the situation but not with our present management.
Several players need paying off, the loanees need to go back and what budget is left needs using but not by the recruitment think tank that has finally delivered what is there now – says it all when people remark that our players can’t pass a ball correctly !!
So how serious is it – well we have all november & december to go before we can approach a club or we have to see what free agents are available.
As I say we need someone who knows what we want as opposed to a manager and chief scout who are on the same page !!

Mr Swann had an ego to prove everyone wrong !
Now it is proving everyone right.
What a shame Peter, and you called others amateurs.

Cameron Wilson is fit. But we don’t seem to play down to the goalline – look at how many corners we create !! It is shocking, Cam would do a a great job taking defenders on out wide and he can quickly cut back and hit very accurate shots in at the keeper.
So that could be the problem !

The only time he stops messing it up is when the criticisms grow.
He doesn’t like that, do I expect his favourites to have more of a chance than some others – a resounding YES.

I stopped due to my losing trust in the leadership.
I based it on 8 years of comments / statements from the Chairman starting from that 1st Forum, in a format the Chairman wanted. I heard statements about the financial security of the club what would NEVER be at risk etc, etc !!
The gates are where they are because few believe the Chairmans latest statements. For me if I started going again I am endorsing/backing the chairmans actions, I will not do that.
Then in some of his statements the stayaways are the ones responsible for any further decline, that the club will be unable to improve the squad ! I found that an insult when you look at the shocking waste of club money on the players recruited using his recruitment plan !! Despite continued evidence that the way we handled any possible contract extensions was flawed we continued, alienated players and ended up with huge turnover of players every season and declining league position was maintained.
No matter the quality of our players over the decades we had heart, the team battled, they fought for the shirt. A win is always good, defeats not so but you cheered fighters either way.
Now ? That heart has been ripped away.

Wonder if it was over a player someone wanted that the other party didn’t and sot it started !!!!
You do a fantastic job Matt, so what happens happens.
Thank you.
My point for the item was the to disregard the work of Russ Wilcox with the U23s.
He was doing a good job and even when the manager the issue was more his defensive tactics and not the players ability. Now you have seen poor recruitment yet again. Tactics ? So questionable. Player selection that at times defies description. Fails to field a team in a settled formation which would help ‘a young inexperieced squad who show a lack of maturity’ and yet it is their fault. 352, 532, 433, 4321, 442 just a few of our resident ‘leaders’ sparkling league climbing systems !!

Other than KDT how many of his signings have been on the naughty step ?
Done mine.
Bit of a weird post.
Didn’t he just say something along the lines of they’re coaching him everyday to improve & cut out mistakes?
No – he said that he had had no coaching !
Plus when others had asked for extra coaching when they were being played out of position they were ignored and not helped.
Any news on the problem ?
It makes the decision to bring in Wood and Hackney on deadline day even more baffling!
A lot of his decisions are baffling !! And I fear will remain so !!

Tom Pugh is far better than any of the last lot of signings (permanent or loanees)
Anyone that saw him rated him, well apart from his manager !!
Do I think Mr Cox will do it again – YES. Maybe not Tom but with someone else.

It will be someones fault !!

The gates are down because the fans / supporters have lost trust in the board.
Many went to the forums where promises were made regarding the club, the financial security of it. All the grandiose schemes they had because they were ‘professionals’ they knew what they were doing.
And that attitude has delivered just over 2100 gates ! Yet the fans got the blame for that. Responsibilty still not owned by the person who created it.

Did mine via ‘edge’ just checked and they are still there. But have them written down.

PORT VALE… V COLCHESTER…. 3 – 1
SWINDON….. V BRADFORD…… 3 – 0
BRISTOL R… V NEWPORT……. 1 – 2
EXETER…… V MANSFIELD……4 – 1Got mine done now. Don’t ask how but done them, saved them.
Used another – it says edge://newtab – does that help anyone ?
I think Matt has problems.
Games for Saturday still not up.
But Cox hasn’t got 40% and the longer in stays in charge below 20% is imminent.

Totally in agreement with you BarnardFoxtonBarker.
Could lose far more than we spend if we get relegated, but yes we have to do something because every game is a likely point
loser.I no longer watch the Quest EFL highlights who wants to watch the low points ??

BARNARD, FOXTON and BARKER – what would the cost be if relegated to the National League. We have all seen that some clubs can go on an even worse failure spiral.

NIGEL ADKINS had a 41.70% win rate while at Scunthorpe United.
Left under good terms, compensation agreed and of he went.
If we go down, the Swan will pocket the parachute payments, bonus for him.
The parachute is I believe is for 1 season only and not that much either !
