Doesn’t look good on the face of it.

But I feel there may be more to this than simply an OAP getting banned.

With Stuart ‘parasite’ Maw’s history of dodgy online behaviour, including asking for nudes from teenagers, you would think he’d know how to keep his head down.

Didn’t he announce his resignation to spare his wife from the scandal that seems to follow him everywhere?

Clearly it was more about forwarding his ego rather than anything beneficial to the club. Same with Positivity “ cancer “ Dave. What a sorry bunch!

I see a few masks have slipped today/yesterday.

This forum as a bastion of free debate and expression clearly gives them pause for thought.

I think the expression is: ‘absolutely rent free’.

    What appalling display of narcissism.

No longer positive Dave will be playing the victim next.

Mr “Positivity” Dave is now claiming there is ‘no cure for cancer’ in regards to this message board. The mask has slipped, what a sick individual.

If you wanted rational debate, Rob, perhaps you shouldn’t have used ‘you all look like clowns’ as an opening gambit.

Not a good look for the purported ‘chair’ of the Unity Group.

It amazes me how many fans on the cult page have been taken in by Herbert’s insane ramblings and rhetoric.

I do wonder if they were fully aware of all his previous conduct, not limited to trafficking drugs to children, involvement in football violence and collaborating with Hilton to try and kill the club, would they be so receptive to his public crusades?

Rob must surely have the nicknames to hand if he was able to specify the exact number of ‘toxic’ fans.

    Looking forward to the reply.

Spot on, Mick. To add to that, Matt was instrumental in the Iron Trust’s excellent c£13,000 club fundraiser and he set up the fundraiser to support Gjoshe after the train attack.

Another example of fans who have honest and impartial ‘non club courted’ opinions being essential to the survival of this club.

Fans who opposed Hilton were publicly called ‘parasites’ by the former leader of the Unity Group, let’s not forget that either.

Rob, welcome to the forum! Are you able to shed some light on why you attacked another Scunthorpe fan at Truro?

The Unity Group is certainly no stranger to scandal. Fighting with other Iron fans at games isn’t a great look, Rob. Yet it’s nowhere near as scandalous as Stuart’s naughty messages to teenagers on Twitter, and away travel money fumbling.

Would have to agree with this. Not a great look the reported infidelity within the Unity Group ranks, as well as the fan fighting at Truro, they now seem to have either deliberately or inadvertently, aligned themselves with Sherbert the drug mule.

The club should disentangle themselves from this mess sharpish.

Perhaps we should have a vote to keep either Positivity Dave and his cheerleader Mr ‘Drug peddler to children’ Herbert, or the drummer?

I’d vote to keep the drummer every time.

I’m not aware of any abuse posted by Mr Ellis on Twitter, have we been reading the same social media site?

Some sharp criticism, but I’ve not seen any ‘abuse’. You would do well to remember, Apollo, the work he did in saving this football club, before making such aspersions.

Butler would do well to remember the organisations that, during the Hilton era saved this football club. Namely the Iron Trust for their ACV on the ground and their behind the scenes deal-brokering and negotiations and the Iron Bru podcast and wider forum for resistance and skepticism towards Hilton and a fundraiser that saved the club from the abyss.

Butler would also do well to remember Unity/Staurt Maw’s behaviour in calling fans who resisted the architect of the club’s demise, Hilton ‘parasites’, and the Iron Hour podcast’s support, platforming and unwavering endorsement of Mr Hilton, while others were working hard unseen organising resistance to Dodgy Dave’s tyranny.

I suggest that Butler, while clearly a talented manager on the pitch, is clearly in need of media and PR training to help reduce the divisive comments he seems to enjoy in Humberside interviews.

If this is true, surely there should now be calls for Rob Lewis, Chair of the Unity group to go the same was as disgraced Stuart Maw, and relinquish his position.

    Meet The Committee

What is it with these people and their hatred of Scunthorpe fans? Rob attacking one and Stuart calling them ‘parasites’. Unity in name only.

VoF was set up as a cheap, salary free complaints department by the club. `

Meeting with groups that have previously put the club’s wellbeing at risk is hardly worth minuting.

Given VoF’s seeming lack of progress you have to wonder if it was another PR misstep by the club. I hope the contributors are rightly asking why they are being set up as unpaid workers rather than real contributors.

Campbell is worse than all of them by some margin, Awaywego. You’d think Mahady will become a season long loan and Campbell will be released at the end of the season.

There seems to be a healthy degree of scrutiny on the keepers given Butler’s pre-season comments about Campbell and that he would ‘sink or swim’. It’s quite obvious to anyone with eyes that neither keeper we have is good enough or on a par with the quality of the rest of the squad.

Rory’s continued mistakes invite more scrutiny each week from fans and opposition managers and scouts alike. It’s fair to say he had a dreadful game against Carlisle, aerially and with his kicking.

Let’s hope the club come up with a solution before it becomes a real crisis.

Spot on Wondergoals. Watson has never been and will never be a professional goalkeeper. Abysmal once again. There’s a reason he’s called Dracula.

Another pr own goal by the club.

Why on earth haven’t they chosen an impartial party to host this thing?

It seems Iron Hour have been taken in by the opportunity to stooge for the club, the same as they were with Hilton.

It does seem to bring their integrity into question once again.

Hosting official club events, featuring in the promo video for the failed and quite dangerous FC100k farce as well as the their support of David Hilton.

I’m surprised the club have had Barra back really, given all his inappropriate sex jokes while hosting the last SUFC quiz night! Kids were present!

Campbell fumbled another two clangers against Spennymoor, thankfully only one went in the net!
