Quite different circumstances though. He was only relieved of his position when it was clear he didn’t think he could work with a much lower squad budget. Unless I’m mistaken? This was unique to him compared to previously sacked managers.
‘none of this means i feel the need to bow down to the shining knight AB whilst he may have done well on the pitch his failure to accept any criticism and off field his attitude towards some sections of the fans base hasn’t endeared him to some people’
Hard to disagree with that sentiment.

I can see how they’ve lost so many games but they could and should have scored too.

He could become the new ACG
In his post match RH interview he suggested all remaining loanees were on their way back for the run in.
Imagine the scenes when Beck gets the winner at Wembley as a last minute sub
Like it or not with a back to back promotions not out of the question other owners will have noticed AB.Have no fear. There are plenty on here that like it.
Trying to repair his reputation and image at a tinpot club was pretty predictable tbh. Less scrutiny is always a bonus for his ilk.
Still in love with Hilton awaywego?

How he’s able to propel himself so violently after being tapped by an opponents index finger defies science.
As I recall, yes. Not from me mind. Not a convincing performance yesterday tbh. Shaky. Hopefully improves.

I can see the Facebook post now: ‘one of them doesn’t even want to see us promoted through spite towards Butler!’. Or have you already said the same thing over there?

I don’t know about player of season, but he put in a decent claim for a few Oscars yesterday.
Lol, back with a vengeance.

Is not being positive allowed in relation to the Iron? As much as I think some of the stuff about ‘he who shall not be named’ went too far, I’m not comfortable with any person trying to make themselves a star being untouchable. Sets a bad precedent.

That’s a shame alcy. Good to see you can stomach returning to a site ‘run by Marxists’. Are you staying a while before scooting off and bad mouthing Bru, which helped fuel the unnecessary divisiveness between platforms?
They can play better than that and yes you never know with the playoffs. Find it difficult to guage performances like that now playoffs are secured. How much have they been to not break a leg?
He is doing well, even if it’s not good to watch. It doesn’t mean I like him though.
Just like Deerey keeps on doing the admin……
Offer up your services if you can be bothered – I’m sure you know how to contact Matt.

Flak on the Facebook group too much for you? Not so bad on Bru you’ve decided to return? Bravo.
Firstly let me confirm that I do not have a downer on Andy Butler. BUT – he needs to give up the delusional approach and get real, he’s fooling nobody. I’ve just listened to his Brackley pre-match interview when he also looked back to the Gateshead match and said “the changes I made didn’t weaken the team”
So Smith, Howe & Dausch are a fair exchange for Jones, Whitehall & Roberts are they?
Better to say nothing than talk what we all know is nonsense.Agree with that. Can’t agree with many of his utterances recently. The stuff about the Gateshead game is just doubling down.
Was it? Doesn’t sound like anything exciting. Most posters on here aren’t interested in that sort of divisiveness to be honest. Despite a supposed reputation that you seem to be interested in.
Grow up. It’s embarrassing.
Only ‘division’ if you’re interested in it
Or just maybe, as stewards have been accused of numerous times before over the years, they chose not to get involved? Certainly been suggested on here in the past
Very mature
I don’t see how another steward’s perceived inaction is relevant.
It’s good to see another perspective. Though stating ‘no one else seems to care’ is generalising. I’ve tried to reason and said there are two sides to any situation but take in to account that many regular posters on here haven’t even posted anything on the subject. Please don’t tar everyone with the same brush. I think you’re also in danger of tribalism.
It’s a shame this has happened and played out like it has as it gets in the way of the numerous questions and concerns about goings on that are very valid in my opinion.
The point about ‘OAP’ and ‘elderly’ being weaponised is still valid in my opinion. As is staff being abused.
Agreed. Bit of mocking is fair game but sone went too far and as a result fueled a fire from those with a Bru agenda. Continually undermining him is bullying really
