I don’t like Butler but he’s done better than last season in an higher league he’s going nowhere.
Yep we need a forward who can score more than 47 goals in 101 matches he’s shite.
I expressed that we should make the playoffs given our budget and attendances, but at the same time would accept anything but a relegation battle from Butler, he put that to bed after the first ten games.
But surely for the rest who said survival would do, once in the position we are in at the moment nothing else but the playoffs would now be acceptable.
The wheels would have to come off big time to not make them, to a bigger extent than when Alexander lost his job, and the same people wouldn’t give Alexander that latitude as you well no know. It’s a business. So fans give money with nothing coming back, Sharp and others put money in and want every penny back, which is there stated position at the moment, plus you were happy for it to be a business when it came to ticket prices especially when one of ours on here was as he saw it priced out of the box his family had for years.
No1 ok up to a point but as soon as they include Dave it’s wrong, plenty putting in a lot more than him all the volunteers for one.
No2 if the club can’t afford the running costs on the back of the gates there’s something seriously wrong, I mean they’re only running one team no ladies, academy, under 18s or schoolboy teams which most teams have even in lower divisions than ours.1 user thanked author for this post.
Course we gonna blame him for his self servantcy.
As for the club!Well he’s met every other man and his dog Deerey, and I’m under no illusion and doubt you are that given the chance we would have had that thumbs up photo.
Told the younger grandson to keep away from him just to be on the safe side. And last season got turned over so many times he didn’t learned f all, every time the dross performances just kept coming and had to settle for the playoffs.

Forest green at home then york away I’d take that.
When was the last game we actually got up for against so called mediocre opposition!
One of the Derby games and they show nothing.2 users thanked author for this post.
A proper St Valentine’s massacre.

Nice to see them park the bus against us, pleased for Hurst though he got a raw deal when he was here.

See Hull city fans got the same warning as us over the tannoy and scoreboard last night, who’d have thought after all these years people still find the chant “Chelsea rent boys” offensive.
And indeed an hate crime, can’t imagine anyone singing that last night had hate in their heart.
Just a chant get over it.Surely it should be the biggest away following of the season so far.
Your post says different Tjo lol.
Hopefully 3rd time lucky in the playoffs, that’s where my positivity would be Deerey, from reports doesn’t seem we were outplayed that’s enough for me considering our results against the others in the top 6.

Got what you wanted Bhuna the new striker it is, positive team from Butler and hope all goes well for him and the team.
Ps. And for the fans who’ve made the long journey, my 2 grandsons are there.1 user thanked author for this post.
More worried about Butler than Hughes outthinking themselves.
What was Butler playing at dropping his 2 top goalscorers to the bench when we played them at home.
Definitely 1-0 to Hughes at the moment on the outthinking.
I do hope he’s learned.1 user thanked author for this post.
We were so brave back then against Newcastle the nearest pub we dare go in was the Bell and Anchor lol.
I was up against the front wall it pissed down and got absolutely soaked, to equalise was amazing against a first division side let alone scoring.
Only cos we were kids at the arsenal game MK.
19,028 for the afternoon replay with Newcastle.
Played 4 games more than harborough town now, but only 4 Pts in front very nip and tuck for them.
I to remember him scoring his one and only league goal for us, of course fans and players were pleased for him, if only we’d known it would be his only goal a pitch invasion wouldn’t have gone a miss.
I and many more genuinely wanted him to do well, but sadly he just couldn’t, shame you can’t be as magnanimous when it comes to fanny Danny as you call him.
As for Campbell though dodgy to say the least, but I was happy enough with him while he wasn’t costing us points never lost a league game with him in goal. From the posts I’ve read it would seem it’s a totally different pathetic crew who are chipping away as you put it ironawe.
Weren’t those who were questioning Beck and Campbell right, would seem so to me.
Yes he’s doing very well this season overall the performances are much better, but last season I watched at least 5 games that were amongst the worst football I’ve ever seen from a Scunthorpe team promoting or not.Maybe the club are missing out with positivity Dave, why not hire him out for kids parties, weddings, and funerals great photo opportunities for the whole town to be had.
At games £10 a pop photo and mug obviously with obligatory thumbs and cuddle.
Maybe patent or register his thumbs and of course insure them for the millions they deserve.
He could be the making of this club long live Dave. One would hope all the fringe players want more game time and keep pushing the manager, doesn’t mean you let them go out on loan to get it.
Maybe stop bringing players in that doesn’t fit the style of play you decide to play, Beck being the best example.“Unbelievable decision… doesn’t make any sense at all” “Not a popular decision”.Just cos it doesn’t mention Butler or AB doesn’t mean they’re not beating him with a stick that those do who mention him by name are or if they are, he the man who’s allowed it to happen surely if we’ve learned anything this week the man at the top making decisions will be questioned about the sense of it.
Not seen any post or heard from anyone who thinks this was a good decision.
Bye the bye now it’s done, let’s hope the new guy can contribute as much as Dec did, and hopefully Dec will come back stronger next season with more game time. There was no enthusiasm when we signed Rory on loan neither when Butler announced Maison as the number 1 goalie.
Don’t think that many fans that don’t believe that the goalie position is the number 1 priority going into next season.
The exact same position that wasn’t addressed this season.1 user thanked author for this post.
Injured.

Smiths being in the building for 3 weeks now, and Butler still said a forward was incoming.
Just been on alty site they’ve just signed someone on loan till the end of the season, scored 60+ goals in 2 seasons for Gainsborough and 10 goals in 31 games this season in their league, makes you wonder why we didn’t have a punt on him.

I know which club I believe, what say you.
