As a long time exec season ticket holder and a supporter of the club in more ways than just attending games, I haven’t and won’t be renewing my season ticket or supporting the club in any way whilst 2 of the current owners are current owners.

    who clarify

Dubem Eze is seen training with players today on the club website so he could be the next announcement.

Seeing as my old school got a mention…

There used to be a few really tough teachers a Foxhills, some better than others. My arch nemesis was Spearsy, I heard that he was still there over twenty years after I left.

    I went to Foxhills…left circa 1980-81
Spearsy was the tall fella .. other notables
    Robins Science Physics
    White Maths
    Hunt Art
Mr Ms Mclellen French Geography and ?
Can remember a few others by face but not name

blooming heck thats 45 yrs ago where have all those years gone !!

Robins could be quite a git on his day. Sue Hunt also taught English, lovely lady she was. Pete Wright was my form tutor and geography teacher. Bob (bastard) Johnson maths. Housham was engineering and metalwork. Best not mention Heavyside lol.

Can’t remember anyone else, I was always tagging it. Prescott was regularly at my house.

Ms Heavyside .. now thats a blast from the past she was a big lady.
    Pin head Robins

No fan votes on kit options just who is making the final decision?

    My guess is Matt Roberts.

Quite possibly thats why i posed the question just who does choose the design etc maybe a joint BovD decision.
i would much rather speed up the new kit launch then salivate over the latest offering being flogged an SUFC tagged bamboo thermos flask WTF

There’s not been a huge amount of activity this close season in the NL.

Yes NL has been slow with regard to player signings ..the NLN has seen more activity KLT alone completed their 11th yesterday.

More action at AAGP would be most welcome especially a keeper and beefy midfielder a must.

I do tend to agree with AWG on this .. the club has been piss poor for donkeys years on getting the new kits sorted .. blaming covid , Hilton and a yearly change of kit suppliers.
No fan votes on kit options just who is making the final decision? .. seems most other clubs have their apparel already on the shelves whilst the mighty Iron dawdle.

Pleased for Barrows and well done SUFC for standing by the lad.
So that just leaves Beestin rumoured to be signing a new deal and Max K who hasnt been talked about much so far.???

IMO we still need another minimum 4 in at least
3 outfield and a keeper, missed out on Hawkins hes gone to Curzon.

we are looking pretty dam tasty up front now
    Whall Howe Ubo Cr10 (Dawson)………………………………Beck

Now we need a keeper, beef up the midfield and possibly 1 add on to the defense and the makings of a decent bunch to compete in NL.

Until contracts are signed with us or elsewhere, why would the club announce anything. We don’t know if the club has counter offered which might make a player rethink. I also think it’s wrong that Mr Bru is posting on here every-time he gets some inside info. If i worked for the club i would be having a word with my staff regarding the leaking of information and also having a word with Mr Bru. There is no wonder the iron hour guys get more attention from the club than the iron-bru guys.

the news on Clunan is out on X and posted on the SUFCFFBP with the club preparing an announcement to be followed by an update on CR10

If players are leaving ALA possibly more than likely Clunan IMO the club should confirm or deny such news and keep fans updated .. across SM the club is so quiet ..quite possibly waiting to counter the loss of Clunan with a new signing or exstention as they did previous with Fitz .. OFFSET BAD NEWS WITH GOOD either way im fed up of seeing the trophy photos lets get some players sorted for next season NOW …and a peak at the new kit design wouldnt be a bad idea to keep fans jolly in these dark close season days

If true then the Club should be on top of any announcements rather than coming from rumours via any other sources first.
Was hoping Clunan would be staying but sounds unlikely now.

3 weeks tomorrow since the retained list was announced and probably even longer on contracts offered, hopefully tomorrows the deadline day for agreeing or the club and players should move on.

Agree , as ever this always seems to drag on.

Whilst i agree with IA above post re the pitch there is no getting away from the fact so far PSF are a bit lukewarm we may see Spalding or Matlock next ??? …No Hull City , Donny, Lincoln or even the Cods ..any EFL outfit would be nice.

Just been catching up with that after my popcorn breakfast arrived by grab and its all a bit tedious and silly, my SUFC sauce tells me the club are bringing out a new commemorative coin next .. Michelle Harness on one side and Stu Maw and Bing Bong on tother side.
Dont know much about EP so no comment but IMO along with Jerry the fame and adulation has gone to Maws head even after the nipplegate scandal.

Eze will be more ready for first team than Fishburn was as he played 20 odd games for Chorley and scored a few before leaving for Halifax. Kouhyar would be clearly ready for the first team though.

Who says we’re not in for him ?. We may be trying to sign him behind the scenes. Kouhyar may even be seen as Roberts replacement because I can’t for the life of me see him signing as he’s been linked with Wigan Athletic.

Would people be happy with him potentially replacing Roberts ?

Yes ..IF CR10 leaves , Is he back from Turkey after his new syrup done.?

That is good to see. I’m a fan of this trophy tour malarkey. I reckon it’s time well spent and will do the power of good. Just an afterthought, is it a commercial benefit of sponsorship deals I wonder (i.e. ‘photo opp with trophy should we be promoted’?). If not, it’s a nice one to add in to future proposals, now with photographic examples.

    indeed agree DM
Im sure Mr Sparks is all over this he seems very atcive re sponsorship to the extent he could sponsor the ice in the Iron Bar drinks !! … still no DRE Bog seat takers though

Disappointed we have not gone after Maz Kouhyar.
Did well for Kidderminster on loan, and then released by York

Yes agree i was hoping he may possibly be an AB target .. still time ,has he been snapped up yet ?
