The fans usually pick awful ones

Let’s be honest… In the GP era there haven’t been that many good ones, whoever has chosen them.
June 24, 2025 at 2:53 pm #306065Seeing as my old school got a mention…
There used to be a few really tough teachers a Foxhills, some better than others. My arch nemesis was Spearsy, I heard that he was still there over twenty years after I left.

Robins could be quite a git on his day. Sue Hunt also taught English, lovely lady she was. Pete Wright was my form tutor and geography teacher. Bob (bastard) Johnson maths. Housham was engineering and metalwork. Best not mention Heavyside lol.
Can’t remember anyone else, I was always tagging it. Prescott was regularly at my house.

I could hardly keep a straight face. I was only twelve but not exactly naive. Oh and I nearly forgot Devine, another git!

June 27, 2025 at 6:47 pm #306159Shirts to go on sale at the open day?
July 4, 2025 at 2:18 pm #306429Two weeks now since thread started and still no shirts to be even seen never mind on sale who’d have thunked it of our club.
Same next season!July 4, 2025 at 5:10 pm #306446So what? We don’t need them yet
July 4, 2025 at 5:40 pm #306448No, but the money from their sale would be handy
July 4, 2025 at 5:45 pm #306449We’ll still get it ,just spend it less soon
July 4, 2025 at 5:55 pm #306450Yeah I know evidently they’re playing in skins tonight and using their tops for goalposts.
Chill out im only pointing out how useless the club are every season when it comes to getting shirts in for sale, god forbid they’d be on the ball one year, wonder if they realize that if they ordered them earlier they’d be here earlier, would be nice if you wasn’t so selfish just because you don’t want one doesn’t mean to say others are of the same mind.July 4, 2025 at 6:05 pm #306452You may not be saying that once you’ve actually seen them!
July 4, 2025 at 6:47 pm #306456So we now have a pre-season kit to be auctioned off when pre-season done it’s starting to get a bit grabby wonder who is sponsoring this kit.
July 4, 2025 at 6:53 pm #306458Starting!
July 5, 2025 at 2:29 am #306473So we now have a pre-season kit to be auctioned off when pre-season done it’s starting to get a bit grabby wonder who is sponsoring this kit.
Glyn Sparks would get sponsorship for a dog turd in the car park if he could .. i know the club needs as much income as possible but sponsorship overkill is tiresome.
What next sale of player hair after theyve been the barbers ???July 5, 2025 at 11:21 am #306481“A fool and his money are easily parted”.
If there are those out there desperate enough to get their hands on a new strip (as this thread proves) then why not?
Plenty of idiots up here walking around in cheap, chatty NUFC shirts with “Fender 25” on the back that they shelled out £96 for.
Go for it!
July 5, 2025 at 11:41 am #306482Dog turd in the Car Park? Surely Pedigree Chum or Lassie would sponsor that. And while we are on the subject, does anyone know why they stopped putting chalk into dog food? Made the white turds easier to avoid at night!
July 5, 2025 at 3:43 pm #306485No one on this thread is desperate to get one far from it NI.
Im just being the good steward I’ve always been and thinking of other people.
Id really rather encourage fans not to buy any club merchandise whatsoever the overpriced tat it is.

Good steward, I heard you were a bar steward, my mistake.
July 7, 2025 at 5:36 pm #306548Statement today saying the kit will be released later this month.
July 7, 2025 at 7:48 pm #306559So the hold up seems to be because we were waiting for the front of the shirt sponsorship to be agreed my my!
Later this month hey.Shirts can only be collected from the clubs new ‘In Post’s locker by the way. Wonder how many grubby little pounds the club got for allowing that monstrosity to be placed outside the executive lounge.
Much rather the club had got another goalkeeper instead.
July 7, 2025 at 8:08 pm #306563It’s hardly a ‘monstrosity’.
July 7, 2025 at 8:39 pm #306564It is if it suits your “knock the club” agenda.
July 8, 2025 at 8:30 am #306575InPost Lockers.
Better the money goes in our piggy bank than one of the other outlets on the RP.
Well done Iron.July 8, 2025 at 10:15 am #306581Let’s go the whole hog and get a Barber’s and mini market down there and a prozy on every corner, the club don’t have to agree to everything that is offered them.
As kerb appeal goes Deerey it’s certainly up there especially putting it near the executive lounge. -
