It’s a similar pattern at other ex-league clubs when it’s not all rosy on field. Bury the most obvious example until recently. I think Butler’s done fair to middling this season but there are numerous mitigating factors already cited. Ultimately the Board are going to decide so I’ll wait and see what happens. Current faith in two of the Directors and the CEO isn’t fantastic right now mind.

Just to add, we’re not mid table – scraping playoffs that numerous supporters reckoned we be at come season end so Butler has at least exceeded expectations for some in terms of final league position?

Have a listen to that interview with Martin Harrison Cliff. Very revealing. Only 10mins, from 45min 30secs. Some may ask why we have such a vested interest in this. Quite simple really. We are all football supporters and don’t want to see what happened to our club happen to others. It’s that simple. Just doing the right thing instead of ignoring it now we’re rid of him.

Ignore the pathetic PR job being unscrupulously undertaken on here by his good friend and ally and listen to the views of Martin Harrison, including ‘it was never a donation’; ‘press and PR from the club is incorrect’; ‘confused why he wants 100% ownership’; ‘the whole this isn’t right’ etc.

This man speaks eloquently and sensibly about this situation and is extremely concerned about Hilton taking over and relinquishing being fan led.

From the evidence presented thus far, no sensible person would allow Hilon to take 100%. I wouldn’t have him anywhere near a football club ever again. It’s a shame the FA seem to be doing zilch to stop this.

It’s not a ‘fact’ yet. They haven’t concluded the voting. If they do vote him in it will be very sad IMHO. They’ll be signing off on an impending shit storm. Going well so far isn’t it. Look how they’re flourishing since he rocked up. Not.
