Old news and article that one Rene. I guess the next news will be if they’ve voted him in or not? Their deadline is tomorrow I think. I dearly hope they bin him off for the sake of the club. Carrot’s dangling for them but long term can’t see it ending well.

If the cods can afford him so can we they lost £1.68 million last season, ours chicken feed to theirs.

And about how much he wants to play at a higher level.

just why Hilton even wants a football club is still a bit baffling ..

It’ll all come out in the wash.

There’s nothing stopping you at the moment contributing monthly there hardly likely to turn money down.
Let’s see those direct debits or standing orders being set up.

There isn’t but you gleefully neglect Apollo’s points. Something along the lines of tiered membership with either more votes or other small but significant benefits in return for a higher subscription would act as an incentive. None of us are rich philanthropists with deep pockets. Some meaningful recognition commensurate with the level of donation is a standard membership model.

I’d definitely pay a monthly sub to the Trust too. I’m sure many more would.

I don’t doubt there’s plenty of lobbying going on. Do hope it’s not crossing over in to intimidation. He’s already sent one of his opo’s out on here trying to paint a pretty picture of him.

‘it was all the cricket club’s fault! Just 20 miles down the road however…’

I’m sure a ransom strip can be found somewhere.

I can see where this heading – a place with ‘world class training facilities’. No wonder burger boy’s salivating again.

Hi – the 3 points deduction made no difference as we were already down.

However a few months ago there was a EGM for passing 75% of the club to private hands also a number of safe guards to protect the club. This was voted in by the season ticket holders (current owner as members club).

However we all got a e mail on Sunday saying deal is off its either pass 100% over or he walks and the board have say the fans will have to sort out a new board if we don’t vote yes !!! We gone until Friday to decide.

As Matlock fans, you only need to look where his involvement has taken you thus far and have a serious think about his previous and this latest action to come to the only sensible conclusion. Vote ‘no’.

We finish 3rd so guaranteed a home semi final… which we win

Brackley loose in their semi final to whoever it is

At that point Scunny being the highest place in the league would have a home final which we could win who ever it is

    Plausible.

The most plausible IMO, but still a stretch.

Harrier Nick might be along soon with his version of that weirdo on Twitter who used to wind up supporters of failing clubs with the likes of ‘watching you get battered really turns me on…’, etc etc.

2 miracles (us beating Hereford and Farsley holding Brackley to a draw) and one huge surprise (Southport beating Kiddie). Chances of this are slimmer than a blue Rizzla. Have many stranger things happened?

Might actually be a more favourable proposition for him? I think the league should check where the complaint about the intelligible player came from.

If we end up away in the final we’re probably screwed, even if we turn in to West Ham.

No I thanked CMCs post saying Rene hoped it would be Beck.

You’re right! 2 days late for miracle day but a miracle nonetheless.
