I think you’re right about the quote. And yes, along with needing to be correct, it would have to be presented well as a design piece / tasteful typeface etc.

The owner was there on Saturday, looking none too pleased. As for Rosenior he’s doing fairly well at Colchester ermmm Chelsea’s feeder club. They’re welcome to his tippy tappy keeper pass to full back, back to keeper, pass to the other fullback ‘brand’ of football.
Is he Jimmy Dean in disguise?

I’d definitely buy a ‘Look at the noise!’ t-shirt
A badge like design that captures an old sponsor like Pleasure Island / Brikenden / Scunthorpe EZ etc that means something only to Iron supporters (i.e makes other fans inquisitive). Bit like this but not as ugly (.e. not a small shirt!)
That’s rubbish but the Subbuteo style one is great.
I know, just riffing it. Fresh out of ideas for now anyway!
Re-hash that well known Blur cartoon face design to include old Iron players like Cammack, O’Berg, Neenan, Duncan etc. Just singular as a badge on t-shirt.

A t-shirt that incorporates the very old crest – as in the old retro tops?
Im open to suggestions…
Something along these lines or daft Laws / Adkins quotes?

Same with most clubs when on the brink or have dropped out the league, Hull, Cods, Donny and Lincoln just to name the local ones.
Remember posting years ago saying it wouldn’t happen with scunny if we were in that position, well we are and I was wrong gladly.
Hull on the verge of relegation to L1 .. very surprised at that
Happy days are here again. ;-)
Hull mate was there on Saturday TW. Said it was dreadful. Radio Humberside lot certainly sounded pissed off.
I shall consult my Claret friend.
Part of Burnley folklore I am told. Didn’t realise it sent Lincoln down. Oh dear, what a pity:
I shall consult my Claret friend.
Almost certain that was said, along those lines. So I think it’s factual to counter that he wasn’t ‘relieved of his duties’. That said, I was relieved.
Don’t mind a couple of designs but wouldn’t buy any myself. That said, proof will be in the sales I guess. Something more tasteful to me might sink like a stone!
I’d favour Chorley based on KL knowing how to beat us recently. Granted we didn’t really show up till it was too late.
‘Good point- the home crowds were still on the low side though, especially for the amount of talent those teams had and the calibre of football on offering.’
The Swann effect? There were certainly ‘stay aways’ at that point of his tenure.

Lawsed!
Bonkers that our pinnacle up that point vs MK we were only getting 6.5k for a shot at championship.
Maybe, but the semis being played over 2 legs with home match being first (same as the Rotherham one) quite possibly had an effect on the gates. Had it been 1 leg on a Saturday at home, may have been significantly higher.
‘Strangely I think Butler would be a better fit in the National League’
I don’t think it’s that strange. I can understand the reasoning.
To be ‘Smoking Goated’ should be common parlance.
Was just having a look at the new shop after seeing Mike’s designs being used. My initial reaction is I like some of the new merch labs t-shirt designs and whilst not a big fan of Mike’s design style, I absolutely love the endeavour and partnership. Great stuff. The Butler design made me laugh. Someone needs to buy Jeff ‘so called’ Pugh one for his birthday :)

No idea what Butterfields injury is but he’s not played for Gateshead since before Christmas.
Only made 19 appearances this season.
Whilst we managed 1 extra point and exactly the same outcome without him. Remind me who were the prophets of doom that predicted mid table at best without Butterfield, Ogle and Elliott.
A fair few if memory serves. One was the lesser spotted 414.
It certainly created ‘a stink’ on socials
If we don’t go up, it’ll be the fans retained list that counts.
That is, those that will be purchasing a season ticket and those POTD punters.
I think attendances are bound to dip if we’re still in NLN next season.
I’d guess they will be 750 to a 1,000 less if we aren’t in the NL.There may be a bit of a drop off – and hopefully if we go up there’ll be an increase
Hasn’t history demonstrated that attendances are dictated by results and league position more than which division we’re in (the ceiling reached at Championship level for instance)?
I think Rene’s projected decrease in general terms is a bit drastic. Depending where we are in NLN (if that’s the case).I wouldn’t anticipate such a huge drop off.
Just above minimum wage would seem very insulting to me even if it was a new post Hilton wage structure.
Wasn’t the ‘just above minimum wage’ claim from his wife on social media too? Seem to recall that but may have got it wrong. No idea what the actual truth is on this aspect.
Usually middle of the week after the last game.
Last year it was 10th May (two weeks after the Play Off semi-final on April 27th).
Thanks for clarifying – I did think it was a few weeks after the last match
Hope this comes back to haunt you.
Thanks. Didn’t realise it was so soon after.
If you like. Just wondered when it usually is after the last game has been played.
Well done Mick, that’s some points!
Gradually forgot I was in it as the season progressed. Must try harder.
Did enjoy the summer tournament one last year though. Hopefully we can do another next summer.
Be disappointed to hear anything less.
