Some players can be rotated without noticably weakening the team (Denton/Horton, Boyce/JB, Howe/TSF) and some can’t.

Outclassed by a very good side, second half effort deserved a point but game could have been over by HT.
Have Howes goals disguised the fact that his passing is shocking, lost or gave away the ball almost every time he touched it.

I was puzzled by Butler’s use of Whitehall for 20 minutes on Saturday. I’m even more confused now he’s not in tonight’s squad. Ewing a big loss, OK for Saturday I hope.

I suspect (guess) that 2 coming in is dependent on 2 going out first.
It’s possible that ending Eze’s loan is proving a problem (although it’s no good for Bolton if he isn’t playing) and we’re having trouble finding a home for any others.

Certainly won’t be missed by fans. As above – what benefit did he bring to the club?

Pity Roberts seems to have lost his shooting boots, Seems more inclined to go outside and cross with his “wrong” foot this season.

Maybe 2 out and 2 in next week according to AB. Brogan & Eze didn’t make the squad today so look likely candidates, dare we hope that Beck is one? Looks like we made a mistake with Eze if he’s not in the 18 when JB, Rose & Boyce are out, can we terminate?

Certainly passed a few in the race to be Whitehalls understudy. Cracking debut and deserved goal.

Still trying to work out why he came on. Only 50/50 for the game and we have another on Wednesday. We were well in control and took an unnecessary risk IMO.

Yes, same as yours. I like Brogan but, it seems, AB doesn’t.

    Truro away form:
    P4 L4 GS1 GA9 GD-8 Pts0
    3-0 maybe 4-0 home win.

FGR hadn’t conceded at home – it took us 2 minutes.
How long will it take Truro to double their total of away goals?

I agree with most of that. Carlton for TSF maybe but I fear Beck might get the start.

TSF should have signed the offer and he would be a league regular.

Whose place would he be taking?

Have a feeling it’s bad news regarding the Whitehall injury and he’s being brought in as cover.

No news on Whitehall but at least we know today is the birthday of Steveland Angus and Andy Keeley. Also Richie Ward who appears to have passed me by.

I’ve just read the match report on the FGR website. Savage made subs on 45 (2), 58,72 and 81. I thought there were only 3 “opportunities” to make substitutions, didn’t we play a man short recently for a short time because we’d used our 3?
Sods Law – the bloke that came on fourth scored the equaliser.
Can any rules expert clarify please.

My response 18 minutes before your post? What happened there? Have I a previously undiscovered talent for seeing the future?

Looks to have been compiled from second hand information and written by somebody who’s never been north of London and certainly not to Shrewsbury or wherever the other place is. “Is it by the sea?”

Top reporting from the local Barnet Times :-
“In highly unusual circumstances, the decision was taken by referee Declan Bourne to end the match in the 78th minute after Nkrumah collided in mid-air with a Scunthorpe defender before a lengthy stoppage in play as the Stones forward received treatment.”
    Wrong on 2 counts.

    And:-
“After a sustained period of both possession and chances for Wealdstone, Shrewsbury found themselves back on level terms at the 30-minute mark thanks to a sensational volleyed effort from Alfie Beestin, whose shot flew past Dante Baptiste from outside the box.”
    Oh dear.
