See the club ignoring the weather yet again give a preview of the game but no mention of the pitch and wether there having a pitch inspection, guess it must be temperate down there, my grass is rock hard.

    Down there?

You’ve got your map the wrong way up.

Butler said if there was to be one it would be early morning Saturday As Clitheroe aren’t leaving till 9 ish.

Forecasts I have seen suggest rain and rising temps. Hopefully it will be on as they are bringing 300+ and not sure they will on a Tuesday night

All you see is the club not telling you everything they know when you oddly think they should.

He was far less critical of club actions during the Swann and Hilton reigns. Particularly the latter.

Can’t remember being critical of swanny whatsoever Deerey, on Hilton I was critical when he consistently changed his mind on things, and on him being on social media, and not leaving the club earlier than he did I encouraged him him July more for himself not for the fans.

    I demand a club statement.

What did you encourage him him to do in July?

You clearly have significant influence siderite.
On OWS:- “Scunthorpe United can update supporters ahead of tomorrow’s Isuzu FA Trophy clash against Clitheroe.”

Horsham at home if we win on Tues can’t complain at that.
Would have been a shite away draw.

Do we start to take this comp seriously? With two potential home wins (not discounting anything after the Macc result) we could make a good fist of winning it

Someone posted a link to the game that probably doesn’t work…

James Moody posted on the Facebook link that the game isn’t being streamed.

The link appears to try to get you to pay £4, but there’s every chance you’d be paying for little more than an up-to-date scoreboard.

Various sites on YouTube imply that they offer live cricket coverage when key games are on, but all you get is the latest score.

Fair enough, this is ‘live coverage’, but only in the loosest of senses. I suspect that’s what’s on offer tonight…

Don’t agree this cup competition takes preference over league as we will now be playing Truro mid week, not an easy journey

So what should we have done? Thrown the game last night?

York, Carlisle, Boreham Wood and Rochdale all out. Got to be one of the favourites alongside Forest Green and Southend.

    Wembley beckons!

Having to play a cup game on that particular day isn’t a ‘preference’, it’s just part of the competition rules.

Jones did o.k Sod.One good save in the first half to keep it at nil nil and no chance with the goal but apart from that he had very little to do.

Doubt Horsham would rather play midweek, part timers virtually forced to have 2 days off work! Probably travel up on the day and straight back after the game,No thanks.
Our players will travel down the day before into a hotel, rest up the next day play at the night back to hotel and travel back the next day.
Not to much to ask of professionals surely.
Of course it’s not welcome more so for fans than the players the one Biggie many have been looking forward to, no way mi grandkids can go now.
Moving on if we make the semis that’s the Halifax game down the pan on the Saturday , would definitely need to win the whole thing just to compensate, Wembleys’s no place for losers.
