Did not realise they were ninth in the league thought they were much lower After their win at Carlisle this could be a difficult match
December 19, 2025 at 1:07 pm #314406Hi Premier Iron – they have a better Away record than at Home. Agree I think it will be tough but play our game and let them worry about us and we will be OK.
December 19, 2025 at 1:14 pm #314407But instead we’ll set up to deal with them.
December 19, 2025 at 2:00 pm #314408Clubs not had the best of weeks with fan engagement, let’s hope the team finish it on a high.
December 19, 2025 at 2:31 pm #314409Alas going on recent NL form i predict a defeat in this one and would not be surprised to see Woking in the promotion mix
3-1

December 19, 2025 at 3:02 pm #314410Having just watched the capitulation of the last away match at Altrincham, a game alot said we were going to win i am going for a home Woking win, they have improved since we beat them at Glanford Park..
I am waiting for new singings.December 19, 2025 at 3:17 pm #314412Settle for a draw tomorrow 2-2
Safe journey to all travelling1 user thanked author for this post.
December 19, 2025 at 3:48 pm #314413First game of the season and the first 25 minutes Woking were comfortably the better team but as the Iron got up to the pace of the game it turned into a routine home win. We have been blowing hot and cold for awhile now yet still look comfortable in 6th spot in the league table, I’ll take a 1-1 and call it a Xmas bonus.

December 19, 2025 at 5:15 pm #314414Won five and drawn one of the last six. So overdue a defeat.
You never know!
December 19, 2025 at 5:58 pm #314415If we play the Cards right we should win.
December 19, 2025 at 6:31 pm #314416Predicted a draw yesterday but sensing them tiring in the second half so Iron win incoming.
December 19, 2025 at 7:03 pm #314417I see the club as finally acted on the multi coloured shirt, what were they thinking putting them out in the club shop for sale in the first place.
Maybe they thought punters wouldn’t notice, shame on them.December 19, 2025 at 7:36 pm #314419Bad light when they put them out. Overcast.

That is what I always fear.
December 19, 2025 at 8:48 pm #314421And you are seldom disappointed.

Maybe they thought punters wouldn’t notice, shame on them.A couple of bad days at the office for SUFC firstly with the dicky shirts and now the Christmas market getting a real slating from die hard fans who visited…. i fear its will get worse today with a defeat 3-1..
December 20, 2025 at 9:55 am #314430IFA,You left out the local derby behind closed doors and then shiting on the fans who’d booked travel for the Boreham wood game only for the club to allow the game to be moved to the Tuesday instead of the Wednesday, like I said not a good week for fan engagement.
December 20, 2025 at 12:00 pm #314433Strong lineup today, no reason we can’t ruffle some feathers and grab a result.
December 20, 2025 at 1:03 pm #314434All their long throwz are illegal.
December 20, 2025 at 1:22 pm #314435Agree Les. Either a foot is off the ground or on the pitch by the time the ball is released. Sometimes both of thoe things on the same throw. Still the officials let it go.
December 20, 2025 at 1:36 pm #314437Good that E. Wing is playing well.

December 20, 2025 at 4:23 pm #314443Me too with RH commentary which was pretty darn good. Some really good moves throughout the game and what a difference Ewing makes to the team !
My only real concern, again, is our use of subs. Have we ever looked a stronger team post the usual 4 second half subs? If so, I can’t remember. Equally one has to ask the honest question – is J Dawson ever likely to make it at this level? I just can’t see anything in him to be affirmative. His performance today was pretty awful – such a slow and weak player totally unsuited to the position we play him in. Sad to say but he’s a deadweight in the squad IMHO

December 20, 2025 at 5:14 pm #314445Cracking win and a cracking day out in the sunshine. Two fantastic goals. Just a shame that the final round of subs seemed to weaken us again and turned it into a very nervy finish.

December 21, 2025 at 10:24 am #314450Agreed, E-Wing and Horton outstanding, Roberts best game for a while, if only he could find last seasons shooting boots. No negatives from the starting 11, top notch.
Subs:-
Barrows – steady
Howe – great goal, other 3 almost invisible, a huge difference in ability between them and the ones they replaced.
Fully expecting their manager to get plenty of criticism for not bringing their goalscorer on at HT.December 21, 2025 at 11:44 am #314451Nice to see the players in all the Xmas gear celebrating with the fans, by the way it’s Ross Burrows in the Grinch mask, tuther grandson was the father Xmas.
