Settle start with 442.
Mr Butler says one more may not make saturday but no name.
What are the respective issues with Rose and Evans ? I know with Barrows it is completing rehab and Ewing – his big toe.
Is Cal now OK ?Deal was said to be an INITIAL 1 month deal.
If they can come to an arrangement leave him where he is getting game time. Working for Mark and Alfreton which is good.
Tesco car park is not controlled by Tesco. It is for Tesco shoppers only and does have cameras recording entry / exit .
People may be subject to overstaying – then penalty notices will start to arrive.
Haha Andrea Ferretti!
Lol, 19 clubs, approximately one a year since he started in 2004. The very definition of ‘journeyman’.

James Alabi – 18 clubs in 12 yrs now that is some going.

I’d be very interested to know who thought he was the man for us in the first place?
Makes you wonder about how much they actually know about the game.. lolDo you remember that dramatic last minute lights on at GP when we signed a player – wasn’t he from Wrexham ? Cannot remember his name but he was far worse than Beck. At least Mark Beck tried and ran about the other was idle.
But on his start debut scored then created and MOM so credit to him.
Not before time.
In Butler’s aftermatch interview on Humberside, he said that Roberts would be OK for next week but Ewings bruised toe would have to have a second opinion because ‘radiographers can miss things’. Really? I know that we don’t need him out for more than necessary and that the days of playing on with a broken neck have long gone…but do we coddle these lads a tad too much?
For whatever reason my memory collects odd information. Ex Officio’s comment about coddling players brought to mind a sad story – Dorothy Dandridge, a Hollywood and Broadway star died in 1965 aged 42 – cause of death was finally filed as fatty tissue in blood that caused an embolism. She had recently suffered a small fracture in a toe – fatty item was said to have been bone marrow !
You never know, don’t risk it. Same goes with attitude to ‘dead legs’ these days !
So do I. Up to him now.

Over the years our weakness has usually been against the teams far lower in the league. We seem to think they will roll over and give up ! This is the area that needs maximum attention.
The teams in the same area in the league and we we realise we have to compete. Do we want to go up again so quickly while our finances are still being addressed. If we do then the Div 2 league money is not to be sniffed at but we must not gamble recklessly.
Board discussions will be have been held, of that I am sure.

I’m old enough to remember the flawless Gary Sprake
Or Glan Letheren 1976-77 played 27 games.
Seems Leeds will be releasing another in December. Got good reviews I understand.
Should ‘Spotland’ be renamed ‘The Wetlands’?
AI says this: ‘During the England vs. Romania 1998 World Cup match, Kevin Keegan’s infamous commentary line was “There’s only one team that’s going to win this game now”, said after Michael Owen scored an equalizer. He made the comment while co-commentating for ITV, but moments later, Romania scored a last-minute winner to win the game 2-1. The moment is often cited as a classic example of “tempting fate” in sports commentary.’

‘Goshey’ – I believe
If the money was there I am sure Mr Butler would have recruited accordingly for the keeper position.
I would prefer building with money in the bank and to keep building that security. Just keep the supporters informed as to why decisions are being made and the progress being made.
Our goals were all decent with some real nice build up play and finishes (even Beck’s!). On that showing I’m glad Foster didn’t stay with us or decide to come back this season.
Brogan played CB after Boyce went off, with Gjoshe and Shipstone either side of him. Good to see TSF back and doing the business…we’ve definitely missed him these past few games.
Your views please on the performances of Gjoshe, Shipstone and Kian Johnson the keeper.
Thank you.
I wonder if Darragh is looking our way ?
Has a record for former players.
No amount of talent makes up for lack of application.
So true and still with the same agent !
Haks – sad waste. For me under achieved although he did have a good payday at Bristol City.
That 2nd half was hard work (watching) Passing was awful and ball retention dire, must do better. (But we won!!!)
They should crawl off the training pitch after passing drills ALL DAY ! It is unacceptable for professionals failure to pass the ball correctly and to who it is meant for.
Don’t think fitness the issue. Just don’t understand why ‘poor passing’ has raised its head ! It should not happen.
Conversion of chances seems to becoming a problem. Are they taking that extra touch, trying to perfect the angle – just hit it !

It is that word ‘Opinions’ .
The one thing I have seen – many saying occasions of poor passing, that should not happen and training should be made to hurt until sloppy/idle/lazy passing is eradicated permanently ! Got to call this out no matter what.
Several plusses from last night. The return of Oli Rose, Danny W completing 90 minutes, undefeated away from home.
The huge plus – after fraught times with the inherited debt, superb board management in reducing this debt and still putting out a competitive team. Now having got back up 1 rung to the National League we sit 4th in the league.
I realise we may be slightly over achieving but with a couple of additions the aspirations of many could be fulfilled. Mr Butler showing he is settling into what is needed.

Limited budget, 1st season in the National League with a new team and 1st time Manager – not doing too shabby in all honesty.
Remember the club is still dealing with reducing outstanding debt so there are a lot of challenges.
All I ask for is no silly 352 – it does not work for us and always go out to win the game – targeting is negative.Could be the chance to create a gap within a top 3 or 4.
Andy Butler gave the impression one of our “main” players is out today. I wonder who it is?
Got to think of future games – will it be to big a risk to play him.
Could be chance for someone to grab the opportunity.
Would prefer next 2 rounds at home and wins.
Need heads switched on from 1st whistle though. No experiments with starting line up or formation.
