But we don’t know the %.

As to how much we get determined by the fee paid. What Derby paid us is deducted and then we get the % amount of the remaining balance.

    I am a 12th man and I will NOT be watching !

Being treat with contempt again, so why bother. Really feel for those players who get zero opportunity yet some senior pro’s seem to have ego’s & tantrums and certainly no interest get selected time and again.

The forgotten faces would battle those that should know better can’t be bothered.

Want to own a club then you accept the responsibility of it.

In 2017 at one time we were 2nd in league 1 to Sheff Utd, can’t blame Covid-19 for the present debacle it has been building for these 3 to 4 years. The recruitment policy over those years has seen lower quality of recruits in comparison to those released with little in funds for any transfer deals for departing players.

And yet it is persisted with.

1 up top at home in a derby game would be a criminal offence and contract termination has to follow.

4 4 2 has to be the way to go. Put players in a comfortable formation and things become automatic. Have to be on the front foot from 1st minute, no slowly getting into the game etc, etc. Paul Hurst will have his team in charge formation.

You can ask questions but for the process be completed the answers have to ACTUALLY answer them !

That is why I stopped attending the FORUMS – “In the beginning there was the word , and the word was according to Peter” ! and nothing changes.

Now asks for suggestions but at one forum he said never listens to them because people aren’t giving them for free ! They want some form of reward for them ! But zero comment about his stance then.

Before the first question Mr Swann could have made a statement addressing the obvious issues – nothing !! I doubt change will follow.

When Peter Swann first came here he said Steve Wharton had run the Club as a hobby

That was one of the first statements that put me off Swann, I thought it was incredibly disrespectful to the previous owner given that, whatever you think of Wharton, he had just overseen the most successful few years in the club’s history. Whatever Peter Swann thought privately, and he may well have had good reasons to back up his comment, I don’t understand why he would put it on the record.

The one thing that came through in all those player podcast interviews was the respect the players had for Mr Wharton. Would the same response be forthcoming regarding Mr Swann.

    100% re the 4 4 2. And to maintain the stability the 4 4 2 brings.

I do believe we have a competitive squad. The problem is we aren’t playing quite a few of them !!
The same underachievers keep the shirt and some ego’s remain massaged. WHY ?

They have a job others can only dream about yet cannot be to bothered. Now we have 24 matches left and the ppg issue is rapidly coming into play. The other issue is if the ‘Forgotten’ got a chance then it could take 6 – 8 consecutive games in THEIR own positions to start the turn round which adds to the pressure.

The pressure has been created from day 1 by the continued recruitment algorithm that has delivered very little and judging by this seasons recruits will remain that way. And how many on recent 2yr deals deserve it ? 1 Levi Sutton was worth at least 4 of these. And there is the logic laid out for all to see 1 wage to Levi or 4 wages on this seasons recruits – poor economics ???

Who is picking the team ?

Are the players surprised when selected and when are they told ? The reason for asking the 2nd question is when you see peoples comments most hint at “Do they have a clue what we are doing”

At home I will not accept 1 up top ! It is negative. Same players get chance after chance, continually fail and others rarely get to see the pitch. Give others a chance – Rowe, Pugh, Hornshaw, Barks, Jessop, Butroid cannot be any worse than some are repeatedly failing.

Want someone up front Harry Jessop – more than capable. And a couple of wildcards who would drive defenders mad Finn Shrimpton (as joint striker) and Cameron Wilson (2nd year U18 if the rules allowed) he would drive at defences and frightened of little.

I would love to know what the criteria is behind each signing.

I keep saying we have as good in house as those recently signed. Supposedly we are fully committed to an in – house player development programme, I see precious little of it. In fact why sign anymore because they don’t get a chance.

We have a manager who says we don’t have anyone to play alongside Ryan Loft as a 2 man strike force ! We do just give someone a chance, he has gambled on others out of position and stuck with it so why not now.

Desperate times call for desperate decisions and it is heading that way.

Unless of course the committee that designed the Duck Billed Platypus has been resurrected and trying new theories at TSV !!

So what. With every thing going on in the world and people raise this – what is the issue ?

Perhaps it helps all the players, they can play and get home safely.

Season longs= loans I do believe have a ‘jan window’ return clause available. I think the matter as raised by lower division clubs if injury issues hit heavily in other groups.

Regarding Cordner, it may be we have to return him to enable recruitment within the budget. For CB cover we have Bedeau, Butroid and Rowe have played that position, Jordan Clarke as well. Plus for a couple of games at a time I would happily put Charlie Barks in.

Charlie has played in the U23s against very experienced CBs and he does fine. It wouldn’t phase him.

He played a lot of games for Cambridge, Bolton offer maybe swayed him that he was going up the leagues.

Doesn’t always work out as we have seen – Hakeeb a good example.

My contact at Bolton says he is a good player that has not been given a chance. Seems been told he doesn’t fit the new system but he hasn’t had an opportunity in it !!

Matt Dean asked MIRF about him – MIRF rates him so thats good enough for me.

Could be a loan. Then it is up to him to show he is worth an offer. Very competitive and ability to hold the ball.

Would be good to put him and Harry Jessop together.

Ironawe – where does the £300 million come from ?

By my understanding in the city pages at the time Mrs Swann sister bought her out of Wilko’s, also seem to think it was less than £50mil.

My list is the base for next season.

It allows the addition of some experience down the spine Keeper, CB, CM and Striker.
We have good players but not given a run of games.

Line up / selection is going to be interesting.

Wonder how long it will take for the phrase “It is a young squad and they are learning…..” to arrive. It is getting tiresome, same comments. Then in Mr Cox’s post Mansfield match he said that in training they set out to work on the issues but the players change it to do what THEY want to do !

Who the hell is in charge ?

Very concerned when a manager says that in training they start with what the management want do but gradually it ends up with the players doing what they want !!

WHAT !! That is ridiculous those players need removing from training and sending home !! Was surprised at Mr Swanns choice, was not mine. Mark Lillis I did and still do want back.

I would bring in BARKS at CB. JESSOP as 1 of 2 STRIKERS.

To let some others realise the team does not revolve round them I would bring BUTROID, PUGH, HORNSHAW into the squad and stick with them for as many matches as these that don’t care have had.

You can be the most skillful in the world but if you aren’t bothered there is no point selecting give the shirt to those that actually care – cannot be any worse.

All loanees return to their clubs, wasted money !!
