To sum up on the question.
No one knows because no one gets told anything. Said on numerous occasions supporters get talked at as opposed to engaged with. Perhaps the plan has worked perhaps it hasn’t.

Put the club up for sale Mr Chairman. If the novelty has worn off and this last 15 months must have been energy sapping then call it a day.

We spend years wasting countless thousands paying for the likes of Marghetts, Vose, Horsfield, Dales, Olomola et al to sit on the sidelines and now cannot afford a National league right backs wages.
It isn’t what has been spent it is what CBRP says. It is what it has been spent on. I would like to add Mr Hippolyte to the list of money down the drain. There were better home developed players sat doing nothing that would if given that opportunity put his inconsistent and lacklustre to shame – the difference is who wanted him ! And they are involved in possible signings !
How not to do it ?

Not sure departure ended well. Interesting when he said that when he got injured the contract offer was withdrawn. Yet Jordan Hallam gets another contract offer despite all his injuries since being here.
Be interesting to know what type of wage a player likes Oates commands in the National league, although I expect it will now beyond our means.
Nicky featherstone looked a tidy player too
Featherstone always was a tidy player, did the basic work that many are unable to do. Put stability in the midfield.
There is no point telling Swann or Cox to their face because they don’t listen.
With Kyle Wootton I called the decision to sell him stupid. I said why but even then Kyle was a better player than the 2 recent recruits Loft & Thuran. Certainly hope Notts County get back in the league.

You can build loyalty within a club and with those outside of the club.
Can that happen at Scunthorpe United ? You need to ask someone else, but for me no. You get there by engaging WITH the fans, not by talking AT them.

He replaced the role that Bish did. Morecambe declared as having the lowest playing budget in the league and they assembled a more than competitive squad.

Some of our younger players recently released are on just above ‘Living Wage’ !!
Don’t know how much lower we can offer than next to nothing !
Congratulations to all the winners, especially MistertonMick what a late run-in.
Look forward to doing it next season, say as and when and it will be there.
That is me done. I will not be renewing.
The way we have treated players this season who happen to be some of those released has been a disgrace. I am not accepting it.

That list sums up our intention going forwards. After the announcement that we are reducing the budget and post match meanderings of the manager regarding player availability through a season.
We then are treated with the news we have offered Jordan Hallam a new deal, he is a good lad and I do feel sorry for him but in 2 seasons he has started 7 games !!
Might not know much of the thought processes of the mastermind opting for this path but what I do know is that I will not be following the pied piper. Enough is enough especially after the waste of home grown. Charlie Barks – I hope that comes and bites back very hard.
Surprised it’s not out already. If Cox told everyone their future Monday what’s happening?
Those released and not getting an offer were told early last week.
Still think 15 to go and offers turned down could perhaps equal 3 more.
Based on recruitment being near to 12 then another coach may be need to work with a specific group in prep for pre-season.
Hearing it is Friday !
Could be that they are awaiting contract offer decisions and that will be the deadline, but this is the honed professional organisation we have become !!
I can’t see Joey Dawson featuring in game days next season.
Don’t believe one word. The ‘leaked’ document took control from the chairman and it hurt.
The supporter has been kept at arms length since the first day of the takeover and they still are. The chairman might hear or read fans concerns but takes no notice.

His negative tactics !!
What about the the present incumbent ? He hasn’t got a clue, his pre-game comments are laughable. His post match ? They are impossible to explain.

I take such managerial comments with a pinch of salt these days !
Don’t know if this is a coincidence but stranger things…..
Seems Gainsborough Trinity have released ALL their players, Mr Cox has said that some of our new signings will be names we do not know !! So that fits. Having a reduced budget that could also fit.
Recruitment strategy is either to find rough diamonds to polish and make a profit on or recruit in readiness for where we could end up ! Even Mr Cox hasn’t realised the situation – he states “Things can’t get worse ” !! But they can there are 2 places below us, they got relegated so Mr Cox it can get worse.
Could indicate if I am making a financial saving for the season.
Bottesford Town could benefit.
So 1 game to go. Then it starts and what a rollercoaster we will be on !!
So from the 9th of May we reveal our retained list – that will be entertaining
Then according to Mr Peter Swanns after comments about those contracts that got cancelled, we will have our squad in place before the end of May. So 22 days to go !Decisions will made regarding season ticket, even whether one will attend again.

The club owner has a strategy ! Really – he does !!

It has got that bad they have been checking the lists again. The reason was after a ‘planning’ meeting when someone said – any ideas. They checked notes and someone had written D I T T O.
They are trying to find out who is the agent for D I T T O !!

Well one game to go in a disastrous season that was made in house and the culmination of confused thinking this past 3 ish seasons.
Having listened to Mr Cox’s post match at Bradford and all the “if only you knew” “I have had it so rough” bleatings I think enough is enough.
He wanted the job then own the job – the buck stops there, the final blame ends with him. Tactics, selections, playing unfit players despite players being available. We had younger pro’s there who have not had a chance all season.
He says his brief was to stay in the league, I thought at the start we were looking to blend a squad and develop younger players and hopefully other clubs took interest in our discovered talent and we sold them on ! What happened ! Then I read the statement by the Owner – THE FUTURE ! I am still laughing.

We will probably keep the ones the supporters are not fussed if they stay or go, but probably the ones we would like to keep will go.
Spot on. I think the ones going will not have changed.
There could have been a different outcome but that would mean someones attitude changing and confirmed yesterday in the post match it hasn’t !
So SanFran, your suggesting the chief scout wants to resign a player Cox doesn’t consider good enough. IF this is true it could explain how we finished up with some of the current dross but doesn’t bode well for the future.
What it shows is there is no joined up thinking !
I thought Mr Cox wanted to work with Will Swann as they are on the same wavelength !!
Didn’t Peter say he wouldn’t have his son in that job ?To show how bad things are down there then read this.
The Chief Scout – Mr Will Swann found out that the manager had told a player he was being released. The person who told him was the players agent when the Chief Scout was talking about this player to him because he wanted to re-sign him !! The manager hadn’t even told Will Swann.

Mr Swann stated what had been done when facing questions from Mr David Burns on Radio Humberside.
People higher up the food chain than myself heard the interview ! He said it.

This is rare for me. Well said Max Bell.
And then you read what Mr Swann said in a club statement back in 2015 – the item called BELIEF. Is there any wonder any trust has totally evaporated.
