All depends if experience is used to their benefit.
Not sure it will.

PAT ‘O’ CAKE – are they allowed to ?
I believe the Ground & training had something like £5 mill as the price to buy it.
The other real estate one would imagine fits anothers plan !
The club may not be a sleeping giant but it could do a damn sight better than this and I am sure fans would support a new regime who wants to be involved with the fans and off field revenues would increase appreciably.
Or is that the fear factor – that someone could actually make something of it.

He wanted the club, he made the statements such as ‘trust us’ ‘ the club is safe’ and seem to remember ‘never in debt’ !!
You want it Mr Swann then act like it, if you are bored then put it up for sale.
I am sure as an astute businessman you could work a deal out to the mutual benefit of all.

Never mind a new scouting system. Get rid of what is there now !
There are a lot of people who would come and help new leadership. Get back to actually treating supporters with respect and communicating with them.

Problem could be someone will want the ground as well.
Would that fit into someones super plan ?
Hope someone does make a move and SOON, may not be much but I guarantee I will renew my season ticket in support of the new owner.

Post match by Cox summed it up. “This is a young squad, an inexperienced squad . They are learning” !!
How many times was that rubbish trotted out !!Yet again he selects the failures of last season, he sets up a negative formation and from what I was told the substitutions were a joke.
Probably doing the job the chairman wants, any guesses on the next home gate ???

Seems Jake had a 7 hr journey so probably the right thing.
It will be the other decisions that will decide things.
When Butroid played he rarely had coverage from anyone on the left.
Perry is getting game time whereas Hornshaw did not in his own position.Late on in a game if you need a battering ram up top to take pressure of then give Fin Shrimpton a chance. Would work well with Jessop, Wilson & Pugh.
I realise Fin would be out of position but he will upset defenders.
4 4 2 as a basic st-up. Seems to work for us.

Personally I would have all 3 back – 2 playing and 1 coaching.
We still signed players who are not as good as these 2 who were released.

That question you need to ask someone else CT – from what I hear he is fine and following instructions.

6 on the bench – 5 with little 1st team experience.
Now 6 injured !! Not bad for 3 games in for us.
How many out ?? This is already serious and only 3 games played !!!

Now that is a very interesting read. Give it a go.

they are showing on my laptop NI
They are but unable to see any one else’s choices. Is that the same for you Michael ?
Strange thing is Mr Cox wanted to sign him seeing him a bit of training and possibly 1 game.
Don’t think he is registered hence no squad number, although Lewis Butroid wasn’t registered for the league last season either – we have a history of strange decisions.
How long has he been gone, gone because we did so well with him
and now Ipswich bid £750K !Accrington played to what he is good at, not daft eh ?
Always rated Charlie.
Managerial decisions led to where we ended up and after 4 years of development an idiotic decision was made and mediocrity was retained and Charlie moved for a small fee. The rest is history everyone has done well except ? Yes you are right Scunthorpe United

Death by a thousand decisions !!

Not in the championship now but were last season – but Josh Kayode fits all the other hints.
I think the move to GP was out of necessity. Birse did it as a loss leader to try and capture the out of town purpose built stadia which came about around the time of Hillsboro.
I haven’t met one iron fan who wouldn’t swap it for OSG. It was a fantastic place to watch football. Every one of my mates who doesn’t support Scunny has a story about the OSG. I reckon 80-90% of the town went at some point in their lives to OSG
Became a bigger loss leader than I think you realise. When measuring to establish the pitch walls they read the plans as yards. It should have been metres therefore so much longer and wider. But it wasn’t spotted and they had built the walls and the steps (standing or seating) had been poured. When spotted it was way too late to change – cost them dear.
I note abusive words are becoming more prevalent. Any chance we can get back to polite language, abuse does prove an argument actually weakens it.
Thank you.

The ’60s thing was also affected by the Bribery Scandal that hit football.
Different ends for our traitors – jail, some moved on couldn’t prove guilt but analysis showed problems. And gradually we declined. Now !! say no more.

16,000 views on this thread but only 20 entrants – very disappointing!
As you say CT it is a shame. It makes a huge difference for Matt and £15 for a season of fun and frustration is not a lot. Come on people its not too late.
