Yes Barrie Thomas. But I would like to mention Nigel Cassidy – very sadly missed.

Cam Wilson could do that role. Not scared and will attack defences, make runs etc.
From memory didn’t Jacob escape a red at GP when with Barnsley with an horrendous tackle near the tunnel ?

Don’t see a massive problem with players training with the club or playing in friendlies, its not like we are offering them 3 year contracts is it? No harm in having a look in a training session I bet there a few diamonds out there waiting to be unearhted.
With you Pat O’Cake. Sometimes when allowed to train with higher level players and a tougher training ethic may be what he whas he wished for. Remember Duane Holmes ? Came here and now having realised the opportunities he got back at Huddersfield.
Nothing to lose for me.
Sam peplow is a LB/LW so appears to be a versatile player which we’re going to need this coming season. Peplow did fairly well when he came on.
Anybody know if Ledger, Rochdale young RB or that GK are still around ?
Does read like Keith wants Peplow. In his post match he has said he “..looking forward to developing him as a player”.
£600 quid a week is better than being on benefits. Make him an offer
Looking at one of the Middlesbro’ goals we still need a keeper so as you say make him an offer.
Funso as they say at Port Vale.
Jem Karacan – not a chance of returning because he told certain people what was wrong ! Now that went down like a lead balloon !
The EGO who wanted to play Football Club Owner controls everything even now.
Says he wants to sell it but does he ? The ego may be scared that the club could be a success if someone else runs it. Although not difficult, just get the fans involved again and really engage and club will be on the rise.

Will be doing it usual way if that is ok ?
Could I fail twice and have 2 teams, to do that do I need to register twice or can you do it ?

Hopefully you get new owners who are actually fans of the club like we have.
We watched our club decay for 20 years and if his masterplan for the next few years had come to fruition we would have been gone, probably starting a phoenix club.
Theres always hope and when (hopefully soon Swann relinquishes control, you will get some people in who love the club and not just use it as a play thing)
When this happens the fans will return no doubts.
We have done in 9 years what took you 20 years so we are twice as good at failure than you were.

I would think in those trialists he will have a couple of possibles. Also would not be surprised if a keeper was being kept secret. Unless of course wonder boy has been in training !!
As usual the EGO does not like people to gain any enthusiasm, been like for the last 9 years.

There are players in National League North on £500 a week – a manager was berating what players are demanding !! Certainly know one club is paying £600 a week at that level.
Understand we have ended interest in someone called Bale !
He has opted to go to america.
Will need the U18s back because they may get 1st team action far quicker than anyone realised as they make 1st team matchday squads up !!
Pugh was a ridiculous decision and the reason farcical – he has been here too long, he needs to find his way !!
Now it appears all 1st targets are not interested and with a budget called ‘challenging’ by Keith Hill would think both NLN and NLS wages could also be a challenge !!

What player have we sold in recent times – last 2 seasons for a DECENT figure !
The master plan was to recruit ‘rough’ diamonds and polish out the flaws – not gone well has it.

When we signed KVV the first time he was on £4500 / week !
If it takes £5k per week to bag Wootton then I fear our team of players on less than £1k pw will struggle to compete.
There are some teams in Grantham Towns league paying £600 per week to their star players !!
How bad is it ?
Well how many welcomed Andrew Boyce as our 1st signing ? Well he is actually the 2nd, the 1st was a striker who doesn’t particularly strike and that is Mr Nuttall !
Now get scared.

Don’t know how old the info was, or how accurate, but I read somewhere yesterday that the average player wage in the National is £700 a week. Is that likely to be roughly what our average players are on with maybe a few on £1k?
Some teams in the division that Grantham Town are in are offering £600 !!
Well having heard Matt Deans radio humberside interview with Keith Hill and hearing that pre-season starts on the 23rd is anyone feeling confident as to whose master plan takes priority on recruitment ?
Although ANY signings will be Mr Hill’s choice but whose list are they selected from ? It has a familiar ring to it.

I think the what has mudded the water is when it got a ‘Value to The Community’ tag.
That did’nt go down well and still rankles I understand. And as regards getting the truth Ironintheblood – I am not holding my breath but good luck.

He sees him as a back up CB as well.
Better chance of plaiting fog than the Ego telling you anything,

A decent age for a centre back. averaged about 41 games a season for the last 5 seasons.
Not the most stylish but he doesn’t turn his back on a challenge, doesn’t leave it to someone else either. So welcome to him.
He was an excellent centre half. 226 games and 7 goals for us. Was a sad day when he moved on in 1966.
Wore the shirt with pride. RIP ‘Noddy’.
Adam Rooney.
Worth a punt.
Would be shocked, would cost more than £50 note !
Any statement from the club must be taken with the proverbial ‘pinch of salt’.
Anything official must be from the ‘EGO’ – I don’t trust it !
Mr Turnbull & Mr Wright are in the middle.

Finn is a good lad and I am pleased for him. Would have preferred to read Tom Pugh had been re – signed as our 1st signing and then Finn.

Will must have some talent lined up based on people supporting the request that better season ticket sales will yield better players.
