Out of our price bracket?
Didn’t know we had one ?

CRIBB – has just signed for the U18s which is good.
We nearly got Padraig a few seasons ago – not sure why the deal never happened.
Sadly I am not Spartacus.
If I had been so lucky many doors would have been hitting backsides as some people left the building !! Would have been a very busy 7 days.
So back to dreaming that one day I could end the nightmare.

Oliver Lobley in for a 1st team start debut, subbed in his debut released 2 days later.
If he had no chance why give the lad a start – that seems cruel to me.

But, Renee, do we enforce any discipline? We had a player suspended for 6 matches for spitting and what did we do? Forgave him, welcomed him back into the fold and selected him to play until he decided he didn’t want to any more. What a message that sends to other miscreants!!
I would assume a sacking would result in a tribunal for unfair dismissal.
Tom Pugh – was a shock. I know a different position but Nuttall gets a contract ! Besides Tom others have more bottle than Nuttall. About as stupid as giving a 2 yr deal to a continually injured player – Hallam.
Poor choices but we have history for it. Better players are being released than was signed last season and there will be less money to waste with the Chief Scout recruitment plan.
League below ? Is it Conference – NORTH. ?

Congratulations all 3. Plenty of research to be done before next season starts, will I still be able to rely on Scunthorpe 0 for regular points?
Looking at the inspired released/retained list most certainly !
Yes congratulations to the winners. Back next season.
We’ve been putting a weakened team out all season!!
We pretty much signed one for the start of the season !!

The Forums are a waste of time. Pleased that some others now know.

If the Police had released him then he was FREE to continue his journey.
So based on what people have said has the Young Man been assaulted ?
He has witnesses so I wonder what will follow.I said at the time loaning Wilson out was stupid. Shone in pre season and was knocking goals in the reserves.
If Cam Wilson had been given the opportunities he would have scored 10 goals.
He had opportunities at a much lower level and scored once, that doesn’t suggest to me that he would have scored regularly in L2.
I saw Cam Wilson through both his U18s years. He played more right sided and cut in on to left foot and scored some very good goals. He also appeared in Russ’s U23s and was gaining good experience against much older players. He would have done fine. Certainly no worse than Pyke or Sinclair.
We should been developing our own

Simple question – having seen him since the january window was he worth the gamble ?
All managers get the opportunity to prove their case. Mr Hill less than convincing and sending Cam Wilson out on loan for so long proved that.
We signed young loanees that were no better than what we had and continued to play them. If Cam Wilson had been given the opportunities he would have scored 10 goals.
The January recruitment was abysmal and the people responsible for that are still here !! Why ?

Just a thought- could it mean we’re close to going in to administration?

What it shows is the Ego will announce something at sometime that suits him ! Whether people believe any statement released will be up to them.
Until the owners name has changed officially then I do not believe anything the Ego says,

Exeter did OK out of Ollie Watkins. When was the last time we made any decent money from a sale. Certainly not from anybody scouted by the current set up.
They also did well with the sale of Ampadu to Chelsea.

Accrington Stanley should also be admired.

George Kerr at The Old Show Ground !
Ball was just in front of goal line no one in front of him and he hit under the ball, it went straight up and cleared the bar – goal kick !!
Where did it all go wrong ?
The EGO could not back down and say he had got it wrong. It is as simple as that.
Keep academy staff. Everyone else in a management role on the Road to nowhere.
“Vose made his debut for the club on 5 March 2016, coming on as a substitute on 85 minutes in the 0–0 draw at home to Gillingham. His only other appearance for the 2015–16 season was on 2 April 2016 in the 1–0 away defeat to Bradford City, coming off the bench in the 81st minute.”
I think that’s a grand total of 14 minutes.
Even KDT can trump that card!
Saw Mr Vose in a reserves game against Grimsby at brigg. If I had been manager I would have dragged him off publicly !! He could not be bothered – ignored passes, turned his back on play ! Then heard attitude in training as bad !!
Nobody is lonely on the naughty step !!
The EGO has done it !
He has got us out of Division 2 !!!
And now he clears off with a 100% record of all promises in his statements being a total waste of time !!

Add to that a physio, assistant physio, secretary and data analyst.
I think some that you mention may already be filled but announcements may only happen at season end.
Well Euro gods willing I will given the opportunity !

What he wants is not necessarily what he will get. All depends on what situations exist elsewhere.
It wasn’t spending someone else’s money though. It was the clubs and I do believe in a previous statement from Mr Ego he mentioned “we gambled” !!
Thing is ” WE ” did not. The adopted recruitment protocol was the gamble and remained so to present day. Go back to the sales of Wallace, Holmes, Townsend – estimated revenue was £2.3 million. And yet what young talent was brought in to keep the production delivering a seasonal ‘golden egg’.
