Perhaps a tad optimistic there, Rene.

I’m pleased for AB – he got a lot right. Indeed, player fitness was what got us through today.
However, I was totally fed up with the ref who so nearly cost us.
That we tried anti-Alfreton tactics and were successful leaves me somewhat staggered.
    That was not pretty.
Mebbe now, we can abandon such dubious strategies.
Why we played so little football today, was beyond me.
If those brainless yobs don’t yet get what was really happening with such crass behaviour – perhaps someone could ‘explain’ the matter to them!

As the day bears down upon us, all I can manage to say is: “Jibber, jibber, jibber.”
It’s been a tough fortnight of niggling worrrrrrrrrrry.
If the lads play to their best – we should win. If they don’t – more ‘sick as a parrotitude!’
Repeat after me: Must not think of Boston. Must not think of Boston. Must not think of Boston!

Different style to Heath, Bill – but a class act, nonetheless.

    It’s called a VPN, Cass.
I have one on my laptop which I rarely use.
Testing things out, I set it up to have me being in Manchester – DASN then refused to open. They appear to have sussed this method and so I removed it – DASN opened.
If I can’t get the match on TV – I’ll put the VPN back on to ‘ensure’ commentary, at least.
I know it’s supposed to work but I’m, unusually for me, in total panic mode at the moment, BLT.
I was in Nevada for that Luton game some years ago – couldn’t get that one, either on TV or commentary, hence my advanced nervous state.
(What really bugs me was that I carefully checked the dates of playoffs and final last August. Over months, I’ve seen 3 different dates online!)

An old buddy is WT crazy. I really don’t want the opportunity to meet up in an away fixture with him!

I’m still worrying about my holiday clash being in Italia.
Has anyone on Bru actually used DAZN successfully over there to watch a game?
    Shall book it before going.

Yes. I’d wondered if George is still on the go. He used to give me lifts to games when I was a mere sprog.

Yes, all I have to do is look to the left hand wall from where I’m typing and there hangs a bucolic scene in oils by the man himself.

RTH was a pleasure to watch. He made difficult manoeuvres look easy. My theory is that it was all done by terrific flexibility and smoothness in the way he moved his hips.

I loved watching Cammack cut across the edge of the penalty area and neatly crack those angled drives neatly into the corner.

Am told I can watch match on DAZN when I’m on holiday in Italy. (No need for VPNs)
    Hoping it’s right.
I fancy us to beat Chester.

Correctly subbed. The last thing we could afford would have been for him to get crocked too.

The greatest failing was the manager insisting on playing with a system last Autumn that had long outlived its early season usefulness.

Well. After two wretched performances in the last few matches, we must expect that their game will be raised for the remaining fixtures AND we shall be filled with guts for two playoffs?
It could happen – I suppose.

To be fair, I have been pretty impressed with many of the GKs I’ve seen in the NLN. Perhaps a majority.
I don’t think I’d want Campbell as Number One.

The improvement in AB since last Autumn has been pretty major.
