According to one list we have at least 10 players out of contract at the end of June.
    They are:
    ROSS FITZSIMMONS ANDREW BOYCE
    MAISON CAMPBELL MICHAEL KELLY
    MAX KOUGUN MICHAEL CLUNAN
    ALFIE BEESTIN JASON LAW
    CALLUM ROBERTS DANNY WHITEHALL

There are others with no dates indicated so could be a few more. Who would you offer new terms to ?

Depends what division we are in. Would love to see the back of Beestin.

Beestin generally is the only one whom puts himself about.
The rest can go as they’ve not served there purpose
Budget will be half so not sure where we will shop at.

Love to keep Roberts and Fitz but highly unlikely. Wouldn’t mind if Kouogan and Beestin stayed.

    Not fussed about the rest.

Whilst I don’t like to leave contract discussions until the last minute I don’t see how the club or players can begin talks before we know if we’re NL or NLN next season. Some of those OOC are good enough for NL and some aren’t but the “not NL Standard” will be OK to keep if they’re cheap and we’re NLN.

‘I don’t see how the club or players can begin talks before we know if we’re NL or NLN next season.’

Wouldn’t have thought so. The bigger Hilton earners will know they could only stay on much reduced wages though so I don’t doubt some are lining up new work. Club turned down an offer for Roberts in Jan according to Michelle.

Wasn’t it more the case Roberts refused to move than the club turning the offer down.

Fitz can go for me,not that great at all, slow at diving, most the penalties v boston was past him before he got down like Shilton in Italia 90,think any reasonable keeper would of kept the same amount of clean sheets, hes easily replaced for cheaper

Quite possible that I’ve forgot the exact details.

This has to be a wind up. It’s worked – I’ve bitten.

Wouldn’t have thought any other than Campbell and maybe Alfie would be in wage structure for next season so none of the others will be here particularly if we don’t scramble our way though the playoffs

    Fitzsimons to Northampton.

If true, why leak that on a public forum at this time ?

Why not, everything else has been leaked out at precisely the wrong time they may as well carry on with it now.

Correct , take away all those OOC and those who may request a transfer tied with a small budget (unless a big money investor comes in) its gonna be a bare bones outfit..

I recall Scales extended, what about Evans ? he was the target of abuse final whistle KLT he may request a move also.

How many would stay even if we do go up to a higher league but less salary ??

    Fitzsimons to Northampton.

I believe we have an option for another season, in which case there’ll be a fee if he moves.

To be fair, I have been pretty impressed with many of the GKs I’ve seen in the NLN. Perhaps a majority.
I don’t think I’d want Campbell as Number One.

What you want les and what your gonna get is probably a long way off, have we seen enough of Campbell to make a fair assesment of him?, I’m guessing the coaching staff will have a better idea than the rest on here .

I think Scales & Evans signed extensions and Beck is here for next season. Doubt if any NL or L2 will match the wages we believe the high earners to be on so it’s likely they’ll be taking a pay cut wherever they play.

Can’t believe Beck was offered a two year deal. Outrageous
That’s one issue I have with AB if he thinks the likes of Beck is what we need.
Will there be a change in the Manager? Or we going to have another season where all the other teams are good and set up well so we will play for a draw and not concede?

    I’m bored at the thought

If there is a mass exodus of players than im hoping AB n Schoff go too as the thought of how they will assemble a decent squad on the predicted low budget is terrifying… relegation to NPL more likely than promotion.

If there is a mass exodus of players I for one am not that bothered.
They’ve had two seasons to gain automatic promotion and blown in.
Not good enough in my eyes move on.

But I dread to imagine what we will get given AB’s recruitment so far.
TBH whoever is in charge will have coppers to play with not pounds.

RB Beck was signed on an 18 month deal not a 2 year deal, after next season he’s out of contract
