It was a result of 3 or 4 mistakes the last of which was a bit of fairly poor goalkeeping.
Pretty sure Rory would agree. All goalkeepers make mistakes but those that make too many cease to be number one choice in professional football teams. Pretending they didn’t happen doesn’t make them go away.
Pure BS claim that Rory would agree. apb offers a much more reasoned and rational explanation.
Blaming Watson for their goal is frankly ridiculous. Result of poor defending, again.
Excellent news :)
It’s quiet so he’s dragging up past disagreements to reignite a kerfuffle :)
Yeah, they have got away with it. They’ll do what they like and continue to do so no doubt.
What would be the logic of restricting them to 650 at GP and losing revenue? Some sort of twisted logic that next time they’ll up our allocation at their place? If so, that seems unrealistic.
A lot to applaud nowadays awaywego. Unlike a few years back…
Serious isn’t the same as strong. Neither are luck and look.
There’s a big difference between saying you’re taking the opponents seriously and making 5 changes that didn’t ought to weaken the team.
That aside, I’m assuming Butler thought it was still strong. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
‘Was it a weaker team first half?’
Three changes at half time that made a big difference would suggest it was.
‘Butler promised he was playing a strong team, fooled the fans’
In which interview did he promise that? Must have missed it.
Still ought to have been a starting 11 to deal with KL, but obviously a weaker team than usual in hindsight.
No drink driving – it’s for bottling my beer
Sounds like the mice were scared of the purring. They lost 3-0.
‘told Rory before the match at Sutton in 2022 didn’t take any notice’
Similar to those fans you told to go home at half time at Harrogate by the sounds of it.
Finally thought of one: this excellent bottle capper, made by Farrari in Italy. Never let me down. Caps like a dream:

‘From where I was Rory decided not to come for the cross (right decision he wouldn’t have got there)’.
Some on other platforms are slating him for doing just that. We all read the game in our way but how can there be so much disparity over Watson’s actions? It doesn’t add up.

As I understood it
Be interesting to see the first goal on the highlights. Usual suspects blaming Rory on X. Those without an agenda blaming the defence. Don’t see any Rory blame for the second goal but it’s probably his fault for just being on the pitch.
Are you his dad?
I doubt it.
Fingers crossed it’s a game of two halves.
Well, seemed to work

‘Not sure what Dawson brings up top tbh.’ Since that first start and goal V Truro I’ve not been too impressed. Obviously not there to watch today.
There’s a lot of audible grumpiness on the commentary.
