It’s clearly another shot aimed at the trust
And yourself.
He’d be 2 or 3 years older then.

I think even Tamworth fans would agree that they overperformed last season and might find it tougher this time. Are they still P/T? If so we must have a chance of coming home with something. Interesting that they were the only promoted team to get anything from their first game and then finished the highest. Thanks Rene.

Not just Butler then!!
“Although some fans might have felt that, given the proximity to the start of the new campaign, Saturday’s game was an unusual time for Grayson to tinker with his tactics and team selection, the Pools boss revealed he wanted to challenge his players in circumstances he anticipated might prove uncomfortable.”
Certainly do remember Suggs! I think you could get just about anything there. When I played for Gurnell St U11s our shirts were red with white collar and cuffs. Buttoned collar and buttoned cuffs mind you. Made by Bukta I think.Double thickness cotton, reversible. So if there was a colour clash you turned your shirt inside out, making our “away shirt” white with red collar and cuffs.mAnd when they got wet!
Was Paul Benson your year NI?
Expect the unexpected but winning (or losing) the first game doesn’t define the season.
In the last 2 seasons Tamworth and Brackley are confirmation of that.

Who’s the bigger clown, those who see a keeper that clearly isn’t up to scratch (yet) or the one who constantly sniped at Clunan and Whitehall during a promotion season of which they were both a massive part of
He wasn’t keen on Fitz either don’t forget.
Absolutely incomprehensible!! I would have hoped (and expected) todays starting 11 and formation to have been very close to next Saturday and played for at least an hour. Instead we got a selection of lucky dips that must have confused spectators, players and probably the manager.

Brian, Kenneth and Dennis will be turning in their graves that it’s been resurrected
Maybe they’ll be doing the Resurrection Shuffle?, hands up if you remember that one.
Hands up, Ashton, Gardner & Dyke.

Disagree (Strongly)
Wasn’t he once described as a CB – or is my ageing braincell playing up?
My memory’s not what it was but I think, when he came, he was described as a CB that could play FB. MK may have a point but, at 19, he could still be filling out.
If I understand correctly The Trust have no money because they have used it to buy shares and wish to continue to do so.
Has he gone to Matlock?
There’s a bit more to it than ticketing according to the Invisible Man. I’ve picked a bit out that should be welcomed if, in fact, he means what he says,
“we will have a CRM system that integrates data across our retail, hospitality and ticketing operations, giving us an unprecedented understanding of our supporters.”
Come on, join in. It’s a new division so initially no form/results to go on. Usually means that my stabs in the dark leave me closer to the top of the league than later on when the experts leave me behind.

All down to one man from what I’ve read. (So it must be right)
He’s the only one who thinks the goalkeeping situation has improved.

July 26, 2025 at 2:55 pm in reply to: To Those Who’ve Been To Pre-Season Games – Name Your Starting Lineup. #307636Looks like we’re in for a cagey start to the season with a back 5, with only one more game before Tamworth it looks like his mind is made up. Interesting that only 2 of the summer signings start and JB has to if he wants 3 CBs.
