At the last general election I suspect a lot of Tory voters did so despite having grave reservations about their leader at the time and his suitability to lead the country as PM.
Their doubts were well founded.
They voted Conservative because they bought into the party’s manifesto. That and the fact that many had voted Tory since the year dot and weren’t going to change despite having a bumbling oaf as the figurehead.
Bucks may have been one of these. I don’t know perhaps he could tell us.
Similarly a great number of Labour supporters would have voted for that party despite having issues with the leadership at the time.
As we have seen. Leaders come and go. You shouldn’t be voting for Corbyn or Johnson; or Starmer or Sunak. You should vote on policies and manifestos.
Criticise individuals if the deserve it.
Tar-brushing with terms like “you lot” and “all” is both lazy and inaccurate.

..getting back to the Cashless society..when you go to the counter with your bottle of whiskey and they say “ Sorry sir,you’ve already had a bottle for this month,the transaction has been declined” ,the light will come on- but it will be too late!
If you think any retainer would decline a sale, particularly in the present economic climate. You’re dafter than your Bible bashing makes you look.

We ain’t going to recruit the “right new coaching team” until Sawnn has sold up. And that’s looking as likely as Tony Adams winning Strictly!
So unless BPG can arrange for him to have a “Road to Damascus” style conversion and he finally sees the light we are bound for Blyth and Spennymoor next season.

Not his fault. Pushed over the parapet like the first day on the Somme.
Only paraphrasing those managers that came before him. Hardly going to say the squad isn’t good enough and we’re odds on for another relegation, is he?
He’s here because of the mess the Swanns have put us in. We know we should have a proper management team, but as long as the owner continues to play “deal – no deal” we’re stuck with the tea boy in charge of the factory.
