Probably signed to be regular LB.
Pushing Denton further forward is pretty likely.Spot on, AWG!
We need to start winning a few more headers in CM.
I want height and presence in one CM, at least.

I didn’t say he was our best GK just that he was the best at distributing.
I stick to that.Gotta say that I think it is going to be difficult to find a GK of the class we have become used to in Fitz.
Certainly the best GK I’ve seen here as regards distribution along with many other qualities too.
I still desperately want a Bishop-type in CM – haven’t had anything similar since – er – Bish.
Bishops beat Clunans.1 user thanked author for this post.
If Scales starts games – I can’t see it being in midfield.
I saw a number of penalties and most seemed to be being read by the GK.
I must admit that I wasn’t awfully struck on his penalty-taking.
Dec’s goalscoring talents are many and varied.
On the Cod ‘ed video, he also scored a significant number of goals as a consequence of seriously shocking defending by defences and GKs.
He will only find a tiny fraction of such dross in the NL.
No reason why he can’t get 15 to 20 this coming season – his close control and first touch will probably condemn Carlton to the bench and have Dec as a regular starter.
The option to play Carlton as an attacking wide player is possible, of course – a role with which he will be pretty familiar.1 user thanked author for this post.
Proof positive that AB spends a large portion of his life on Bru?
Deer, deer, deer.
I’m not against the Honours System at all but am fed up to the back teeth with honours going on the nod to: politicos, sportspeople – and worst of all – actors and singers.
There are so many real people out there who work their guts out for worthy causes who get zilch because they aren’t famous.
(Using your fame to put your own charity work into the forefront is something I could do without too.)1 user thanked author for this post.
Cleethorpes and Crowle will hardly have us playing a season-starting lineup.
Post-Geoff Barnard, there were a few dodgy keepers – happily Graeme was not one such.

Ah. Sorry – I meant aaarghhh!
5 at the back is fine, DM, provided that we have precisely the right players to pull it off.

Isn’t it better to go up via playoffs? A cash boost.
I’d guess £70k+.
Anyone know better? From that group – I think very few will leave but I suspect that any leftover from the previous chairman may have to take a a significant cut. Mind you, salary isn’t everything. Some may welcome the challenge of the NL.
He is not a poor player. He may, however, be a square peg in a round hole.
Sheffield folks coming to watch chez moi this pm.
I know exactly what you mean SF but all such things are double-edged when form and injuries play a part. Moreover, what about those – more than a few – who are stars in one context and a relative failure in another for reasons unfathomable.
Perfectly forgivable, Cass.
Anybody ever buy it? – Then STOP!
There has to be an addition of pace.
His first touch is the only significant problem.
Great to see how good a scorer he can be though, innit?1 user thanked author for this post.
We need a CM who is, indeed, hard as nails and also has a bit of height. We must be able to win balls in the air.
Want to keep our 3 best forwards – GK – yes if …DM, if he had continued in the same vein – no way would we have been rejoicing today.
Maybe it was fan pressure; perhaps board pressure or personal revelation. Who knows? All that matters is that he began steering the Iron boat in a better direction.1 user thanked author for this post.
We have to fit in some serious worrying about any who we don’t want to leave – are doing.
Also need to worry that any newcomers are up to scratch.DAZN failed me in Italy. But Nord did not.
