Jake Eastwood released by the Cods. Thought he did quite well when he was on loan here.

Gotta say that I think it is going to be difficult to find a GK of the class we have become used to in Fitz.
Certainly the best GK I’ve seen here as regards distribution along with many other qualities too.
I still desperately want a Bishop-type in CM – haven’t had anything similar since – er – Bish.
    Bishops beat Clunans.

Yes Les.On a wet windy night in Halifax, the Bishop-type is vital.

I wouldn’t go that far. Joe Murphy, Luke Daniels, Lionel Perez and Mussy back in the day were all better. A very, very good GK though.

I didn’t say he was our best GK just that he was the best at distributing.
    I stick to that.

Agree Les. Best distribution of any keeper in my time by a margin.

Pretty decent at the other stuff.

You also wrote “many other qualities”. Like what other qualities ?. Shot stopping, coming for crosses ?

I agree with you on distribution, but he was nowhere near some of our other gk’s in terms of “these other qualities”. I fear you maybe getting a little carried away.

What about the lad that was at Farsley at the end. On loan from somewhere and everyone rated him even after all the defeats.

Appears to be without a club. Could be signed, but is he good enough?
