Lund was class – sign on non contract if injury prone
Things not going out way at present – sadly 3 without a win after this game, take a point and see if we can beat Tamworth and Sports
Butler seem to be over protective of players to the point of losing sight of what we all witnessed. We gave a poor team a point. AB just be honest we ain’t stupid we know what we are watching and a present its not great.
We are playing like a mid-table team which at the start of the season we were all happy to be. But when we are poor we can all say it and don’t need to be abusive, (booing is expressing a view its not abusive). There is plenty of effort and hard work just the inability to shoot (and score) is missing. BTW Westwood and Horton both look better by the week2 users thanked author for this post.
Sadly i think you are correct. 4 of our strikers are just at this level against average/poor sides (Whitehall, Howe, Carlton, Dawson) 1 is this level (Roberts) and 1 is above this level (T-F). And that is where we fall down, we wont score enough to go up. Thankfully it will be enough to stay up. Which is all we wanted in Aug, so enjoy.

Decent performance when we clicked and played at pace. Horton outstanding, calmness clearing his lines and good distribution and not afraid to bring the ball put. Westbrooke tidy and looks decent again. We continue to punch above out expectations. :-)
cant disagree – Wilson was the best player out of the 22 on the pitch every week, whoever we played
looking at their results if we think we are going to push for top 7 you win this game.
Its all about mind set, start with the right attitude we should be ok.1 user thanked author for this post.
Why not those missing the chances to blame!?
Goalscoring becoming an issue? 2 games with no goal from open play and against average sides

old skipper coming back :-)

Carlisle were appalling – Hughes gave up and at down.
His contribution now will be a salary saved
next 4 then 7 would be good – we would have to accept we are in the mix for play-offs. 8 or 9 title challengers
i’d take 5 or 6 points.
5 by 1 win 2 draws 1 loss or 6 by 2 wins 2 loses rather than 1 win 3 drawsi don’t think half time subs count towards your 3

GK not the issue for their goal but there 3 players left unmarked as it was headed back across goal. Poor defending not poor goalkeeping. We need better outlets if are to defend that deep.
FFS – again. Shall we trot out the same interview! When will learn something?
is the first real big test – our attacking pace may do them, hard one to call.
Will depend on our attitude go for 3 points may have to settle for 1, aim for 1 will get nowt.3 users thanked author for this post.
Wealdstone statement “Due to the administration of morphine on the pitch and the length of time required to assess and treat him, Dan’s teammates were understandably concerned about the seriousness of his injury.” Full statement https://www.wealdstone-fc.com/post/daniel-nkrumah-injury-update
Not that concerned that they went over.

Will take some effort from the team for this not to be a game too far. Circumstances just coming together against us.
we don’t quite have the balance right when down to 10 – need an outlet to hold it up while 1 or 2 join up. Have a to keep a threat even if its limited. At least keeps opponents on their toes and you don’t conceed if you have the ball.
2 games without a win. Need to win one of the next 2 to keep momentum. Hard work, commitment, team work fine but points are what matter.sadly yellow not appealable
yes he did wind their player up – who was stupid enough to punch Whitehall and should have been sent off for it.
Whitehall does a job and does it well and I’m happy with a goal a game.
If he goes beyond the rules up to the ref to sort him.So many opinions based on no facts just assumptions! Mainly is seems because they don’t fit a criteria for a fans representative and yet all the groups mentioned represent a section of fans not all fans.
i do know one of the fans, they have been attending games for 20+ seasons. Most of those years as a season ticket holder and goes to most away games too. They do use the club shop, restaurant and have sponsored the ball. Finally if you think they will a club stooge clearly not met them!
While slightly biased, I’m happy to give the groups a chance before criticising them.3 users thanked author for this post.
Maybe that’s what fits the budget – for now. Or he has improved?

nope – cant recall anything special about him – not in the Yates class. Maybe he was homesick!?

sorry but Chester were no footballing side, never mind better. Their whole aim were to disrupt our rhythm or get us down to 10. The winger jumped with his arms up ready to dive. Credit to them if they went toe to toe they lose easily, again. Sadly ref was useless and allowed them to ruin the game. Fitz never made a save worthy of an applause. When we could we looked dangerous, did miss Roberts calmness, esp on the break towards the end. Credit to AB and the team we have learnt how to beat these disruptive teams. Win 100% deserved

the odds make no sense – they were only 3 points behind us. I agree with AB there are not under dogs. Prediction easy – we start on the front foot with intensity we win. Keeping in tight and hoping a clean sheet wins with Roberts coming on to create/score one chance, then we lose.
“its what happens at Scunny when there’s a huge game and crowd”
Apart from when Cliffy equalised or we beat numerous team to win league 1 or beat Newcastle or beat Chester early this year. If Chester give it a go we win, if they park the bus it will be hard without Roberts. This game is about the mind not the ability – we are the better team. Just need AB to get them on the front foot from the off. Iron 2-1 after been 2 up and finish 8-1-1 formation ;-)at least AB is humble and young enough to eventually accept he made a mistake with 5 at the back and start playing on the front foot at home. Brown too old and arrogant to consider he got it wrong against Southport and Chester!!
If we turn up and play on the front foot we win.
Roberts help’s with that but if he’s missing then use him as a “do it for Roberts” who got us here.
You never know promotion may just get him to stay. He always comes across as a decent bloke, with some honour (rare in footy) -
