Grift and grift again.
Gurney: ‘ah yes, another one of your Jonnies or Ornot. Les…Les…Les!!!!’
Think it must be all the punctuation and correct use of the English language.

Nice book at bedtime for you awaywego.

‘It’s interesting to note how even atheistic and agnostic commentators in recent years are starting to harmonise with the meaning behind Nietsches statement that ‘ God is dead ..’
Who do you have in mind JI? I’d be interested to know. We might be able to take a closer look and see just how atheistic or agnostic they actually are. Or aren’t.

Religion is not getting a good look on here
Lol, I’ll say no more, but will.
A proclavity suited to some more than others
Really hoping Foden keeps up his form for the Euros. He’s been incredible this season and a joy to watch.
I’ve not watched Ingerland since South Africa 2010.
Bang that drum, toot the vuvuzelas, footballs coming home… lol
I gave up hope of international success years ago.
2030 marks the centennial of the inaugural World Cup – will we ever host it again, lest win it?
I’ll increase the deja vu by replying ‘I’m not that arsed about how well England do and often enjoy the tournament as much or more when they’re knocked out or haven’t qualified.’
Deerey, do you mean the Wayne Rooney who was England’s all-time leading goalscorer?
Okay, I exaggerated. Not the biggest flop, but take in to account how many games and how many years it took him with the service around him, and in comparison to his club career, he never fulfilled expectation and towards the end of his career seemed to blame everyone else and sulk. Then the issue with supporters as awaywego mentioned. In this regard I wouldn’t say Owen and Kane were / are international flops for instance but more tempted to say Rooney was, 50 odd goals or not. Who were most these goals against? Rarely recall him excelling in the big games, when it really mattered. Major tournaments – bit of a flop.

Why can’t you just accept that some people believe in god and some don’t bpg? Some people believe they have proof of the existence of god whilst others refute it, for valid reasons.
I used to enjoy watching the EFL highlights. But that waned during our last season in the league and is now non-existent. Shame.
Also that age old issue of club form not transferring to the international stage. Rooney has to be the biggest flop in recent history in that regard. Gerrard wasn’t great either.

The Euro’s league? Wouldn’t know but the season long league is based on predicting scores from a presented list before the start of each round. You then get points based on correct score, home or away win, draw etc.
Only posting my view JI. I’m not here to be appreciated or unappreciated, as you know.
It’s ‘Olise’

Virtual pelters from the Dean lovers
Fantasy football is the only thing maintaining much interest in the Premier League for me. Even then it’s more about the players, data and trends. Team performance and future fixtures I suppose though I couldn’t care less who wins the thing amd gets in to Europe.
With a look like that I’m not opening that link with a barge pole. Giving me serious Brokeback Mountain vibes.
‘get rid of prejudice and racism for which religion is so often used as a fig-leaf.’
Garbage that Gurney. You persist with this dualism but it’s meaningless. Some of the greatest scientists past and present are religious.
