Hopefully, this doesn’t break any rules. Who was the first manager we appointed who was younger than you? Caretaker and Interim Managers are excluded. Mine was Nigel Adkins. If you are still waiting for this day, count yourself lucky.

First player that I’m sure was younger than me was Graham Rusling – we started our apprenticeship together in 1964. I was born in January, Russ was (I think) born in April, but certainly after me. (If Kevin Keegan made his debut before Russ then he would be the first).
