    No from the club Apollo.

Whitehall didn’t have a n agent when he signed for us can’t say about Roberts very few do in non league.

Hilton only spent £5000 on agents when in the NL the skinflint against Yorks £128,000, and £110,000 this last season. More than some of NLN teams budgets.

    Hilton spent, lol

Would stick yesterday up there with the all time great days following this club.

Could relive listening to that roar when Carlton scored over, and over again.

Danny Whitehall potentially saved his job with the last gap winner at Marine. Fine margins.

However, importantly he never seemed to lose the dressing room. His messages have been pretty consistent through the season and that has shown in his side: hard working, togetherness and tactically well drilled. Even if at times we never agreed with the tactics.

    Absolutely delighted for him though.

Artell has had a good season with you lot, I was surprised to see reports of him being abused by some of your fans ?

Grimsby will always be restricted by Blundell Park, I read you spent 300k last year on one stand just to keep it usable ? Until you finally get that new ground you will struggle to break ground in a
    Now ridiculously competitive league one.

Still, I’d swap positions with lot in heartbeat. Find it harder to laugh at your misfortune on the field too when we still have the prospect of facing Worksop next year.

So the official reason for leaving us with massive debt and no way of covering massive wages he brought in was because he bottled it? No other reason given.

He can’t even be bothered to bullshit properly anymore.

Thought we made it look a routine performance, which for a play off semi is credit to Andy and the players.

Same with most clubs when on the brink or have dropped out the league, Hull, Cods, Donny and Lincoln just to name the local ones.

Remember posting years ago saying it wouldn’t happen with scunny if we were in that position, well we are and I was wrong gladly.

Same here, I thought apathy would kill us tbh. Happily proved wrong.

Bonkers that our pinnacle up that point vs MK we were only getting 6.5k for a shot at championship.

Maybe, but the semis being played over 2 legs with home match being first (same as the Rotherham one) quite possibly had an effect on the gates. Had it been 1 leg on a Saturday at home, may have been significantly higher.

Good point- the home crowds were still on the low side though, especially for the amount of talent those teams had and the calibre of football on offering.

    Vs Millwall 7,190
    Vs Rotherham 6,591
    Vs Mk Dons 6,500
    Vs Boston 8,036

Looking likely there will be more home supporters there again than there were in any of our league 1 play off games

Have a listen to that interview with Martin Harrison Cliff. Very revealing. Only 10mins, from 45min 30secs. Some may ask why we have such a vested interest in this. Quite simple really. We are all football supporters and don’t want to see what happened to our club happen to others. It’s that simple. Just doing the right thing instead of ignoring it now we’re rid of him.

Just listened, thanks. Well that’s the first lie confirmed- he hasn’t put 200k in as a donation

Very important to keep track of events as of now as his usual goons will be along to twist/distort and lie; aswell as interviews and statements online going missing.

Dave Hilton compared to Brian Clough, the Kool aid has well and truly being consumed.

Tried taking you at face value before Patrick, but you’re writing style is eerily close to that of the messiah himself which suggests you’re probably another goon at his disposal along with Herbert.

Let’s be honest, there’s information many on here know of Hilton that’s pretty damning of his character and his intentions both at Scunthorpe United and elsewhere. He should be nowhere near a football club.

I one of the few that have voted no from the start (both votes).
However the last vote (hand over 75%) was 65/16. Not sure how this one will go but all the board/committee are in favor and that’s a fair few votes.

Personally I think it will pass.

Stick to your guns; You can see which way the wind is blowing already, expect more emotional blackmail and divisive tactics- it’s his MO.

Out of interest, are your supporters fully aware of his history? I can’t believe he’s been so willingly accepted.

I’m sure there will be plenty of folk within our club and supporter base that are willing to speak with you guys to allow an informed decision. Additionally Matt Slater from the Athletic and Kieran McGuire (Price of football) might be worth reaching out too

Can see potentially Kiddy or Brackley slipping up, not both though.

K Lynn was a sickener, still annoyed as many others are. Got to really stick into P,Boro tomorrow and give the fans something to get behind. If we are 2-0 up I want to see the same intensity as if the game was 0-0.

As pissed off as we are, we still have a great chance of promotion, Kiddy away would be the only fixture in the play offs I wouldn’t fancy us as favourites, The rest of the teams have been so poor when visiting us.

    Demoralising.

As others have alluded too, our away form has been utter shite for months, how can you expect to win a title if you can’t perform in half your games ?

Midfield 3 were overran and the wingers were running constantly nullified when they ran into their back 3. Shape should’ve been changed first half but we persisted and decided to play our ace card is Boyce up front- has that ever worked?

I don’t buy into the idea the players don’t give a shit; lazy, easy jibe to throw because you’re pissed off with the performance.

They are/were good enough to win this league, however the application has been piss poor in many games. For me, the manger and coaching staff take responsibility for that. If we fail to go up then a question has to be asked on how we have failed again with the highest budget.

I get that but if Wembley is the reason to leave him on loan then we aren’t really serious about promotion. We’ve got 2 important games next week that could still win us automatic promotion and if not then at least give us an advantage in the playoffs. Shrimpton is in good form and scoring goals, all hands needed on our deck.

Would be an awful decision to recall him now.

Let him enjoy his football and a trip to Wembley

Seen it posted before, but if we can somehow manage a win then the title race IMO swings in our favour.

Wasn’t impressed with them at our place; Butler’s got to fight against his instincts and treat this as a winner takes all, a draw is no good.

Hopefully a few more of the 500 are snapped up. Currently 800 sold

Absolutely, no one really at fault here.

Hereford had a stand condemned and taken down so not much they can do in the way of more tickets, they’ll likely sell the home allocation with no problems either.

You have to be thick as mince to boo the manager 1-0 up whilst top of the league for making a sub, ironically a sub then scoring our second goal.

There’s always a big reaction when we get beat in this league, never mind in the 90th minute.

Think you’ll probably find the current mindset of not getting beat is apparent with a large proportion of mangers through the leagues now. Look at the state of the Manchester derby last week where both seemed more than content with a 0-0 draw. Seen plenty of people blame the Guardiola effect, not sure about that but there is a tendency for tactics to trickle down the leagues. Look at the nonsense we saw last year with sides trying to play out of the back on national league north.

Cool heads needed, social media is always one extreme to the other; OTT reactions aren’t exclusive to the iron either.

Hopefully a few choice words said behind the scenes and we go again next week.

Nearly went a full week without a sideshow; feel sorry for Andy and the players who must be wondering what else is around the corner.

It’s the timing the board chooses to make these decisions which is the sickener, why couldn’t Goat/Merch labs be given the boot at the end of the year? Why was the FC100000 planned to be announced 6 weeks before the season end? Why has a festival been announced with 3 month notice ?

Some odd decisions/timings and all doesn’t appear well.

Yet, they manage to run their own businesses.
Why do they collectively appear to be so naive & incompetent running a FC?

Well they aren’t the first people in football club history to do that are they TBF, not exactly unique to our club is it?

No, but that doesn’t make it any better.
