Predicted a Scunny win but the more i think and listen the AB im edging more for a draw , i get the impression he may set up differently nd worry more about them theh going for the throat from KO.

Hope im wrong come final whistle and we have got those 3 points ..

    Heart 2-1 to The Iron
    Head 2-2

2 penalties today and a red card or possibly even 2

Nothing positive from AB sadly – didn’t appear to have learnt too much from last week. More hoping something will happen than making it happen. Get out the blocks get ahead and then they will feel tired. Longer they have hope more energy they will have. AB never seem to install the right mindset, too much worrying about the great job their manager has done, how good they are (even if in the bottom 4). You see it fo othe players, Fitz slow with goal kicks from the off, players saying clam down, no quick breaks from opposition corners. The exceptions Kiddy and Chester at home. Need 4 of those. I fear it will be more Radcliffe’s and a 3rd place finish.

1-1 is not unexpectedly the shortest priced correct score-cast @ 5/1

Made hard work of it once we scored we went sloppy for the remainder of the half barring last 2 mins. But we won, 3 more please.

Butler’s first sub went down like a lead balloon lol, lovely chorus of you don’t know what your doing.

Fadera’s first touch is superb. He had some terrible passes fired at him and made something out of nearly all of them. The disbelief around me when his number came up was unanimous. The obvious one to remove, especially if bringing Beck on, was Beestin who was blowing after an hour.
I’ll just take the win and look forward to Kings Lynn.

Today’s game summarised the season for me, best team first half and deservedly ahead and should have been more if young Mo had kept his shots down. Second half sloppy, poor passing poor decision making and generally let a pretty decent Spennymoor team back into it and they could have equalised but thankfully didn’t and Carlton scored a very good goal at the end to finish it. This game sums up why we haven’t won this league weeks ago, we just aren’t consistent, hence 12 draws and fewer wins then we should have.

Another outstanding tackle by Evans first half on Taylor, and there was me thinking he was a liability after Southport how wrong was I he’s been outstanding of late.

Clunan and Evans our two best players today IMO.

Yes, Clunan weighed in with a couple of crunching tackles.

You have to be thick as mince to boo the manager 1-0 up whilst top of the league for making a sub, ironically a sub then scoring our second goal.

Whilst i dont condone booing i presume it was a reaction to

Beck on for Fadera ..when going by commentary they thought it would be / should ov been Beestin going off as Alfie was out on his feet and Mo was still a threat even though less than the first half.
Ubou on for Beestin was not booed.

    Leads me to think
    Beck for Beestin
    Ubou for Fadera

and not a booed would ov been heard.

All by the by now 3 POINTS IN THE BAG IS ALL THAT MATTERED YESTERDAY.

KLT away .. lets hope its A GOOD FRIDAY!! i am worried about this bearing in mind Kiddy and Brackley have much softer games and a slip up could see us drop to 3rd.

Oxford safe and Rushall already relegated …. nowt to play for

Someone I know was convinced the booing was for ‘taking off our best player’. But may have been confirmation bias.

    Bang on IFA.
You cant fool the crowd winning or not, could go back to the Marine game “We won didn’t we” is not the point most thought it wasn’t the right sub and they just let him know it.

On a positive we were on the front foot from minute one showed more in the first 3 mins than we did all game at Radcliffe, we dropped off after the goal but at least did go for it.
