That’s it siderite, it would be a show of strength leaving them diddly dongs in charge.
Would go down great at the next home game if they showed up.Surely it can’t carry on like this.
Ps, did everyone notice how many were working in the club shop who were thanked 4 yes 4.
How can a NLN team run with that ffs. Cut the cloth for where we are.Yeah, I noticed that.
Surely not all 4 are paid staff?
Part time / volunteers?April 4, 2025 at 11:53 pm #301706FYI
Sue and Sarah both part time covering mon tues thurs fri and match days
Adam is match days and holiday cover
Lindsey has a full time job outside of SUFC and supports on match days and has done a lot of work volunteering so if she was seen during the week it was on her annual leave from her full time jobClarity.
April 4, 2025 at 11:58 pm #301707Nearly went a full week without a sideshow; feel sorry for Andy and the players who must be wondering what else is around the corner.
It’s the timing the board chooses to make these decisions which is the sickener, why couldn’t Goat/Merch labs be given the boot at the end of the year? Why was the FC100000 planned to be announced 6 weeks before the season end? Why has a festival been announced with 3 month notice ?
Some odd decisions/timings and all doesn’t appear well.
Yet, they manage to run their own businesses.
Why do they collectively appear to be so naive & incompetent running a FC?April 5, 2025 at 9:15 am #301742Hamfisted by the club; too many egos.

Why do they collectively appear to be so naive & incompetent running a FC?Well they aren’t the first people in football club history to do that are they TBF, not exactly unique to our club is it?

April 5, 2025 at 8:30 pm #301810Still question them going public the night before a key game at the ‘business end’ of the season if they truly have the club’s best interest at heart. That said, they’ve been treated poorly but surely a statement could have been left until tomorrow.

No, but that doesn’t make it any better.

Historically the online shop is more active during a match, that being said we didn’t want people wondering what was going on and a influx of messages about the site not being live, also we had been seen by a large number of people loading vehicles up as we cleared the office.
We spoke to a number of people at the club regarding us putting a statement out on Friday afternoon, no one at the club objected.
If they had, and asked us to hold off till say Monday, we would have done so out of respect to the members of staff at the club that we still have a good relationship with

April 6, 2025 at 2:24 pm #301831It was reference to the timing of the decision rather than the statement.
April 7, 2025 at 8:29 am #301853The Club’s online shop is STILL down.
April 7, 2025 at 9:06 am #301858If I was changing my online shop provider, I’d make sure the new one was ready to switch on as soon as, or before, the other is switched off. Hope this simple process was in place?

Clearly not. Ridiculous.

There’s nobody to run it since Sam was kicked out, he was the IT man.

It doesn’t exist at all.
April 9, 2025 at 11:59 am #301979Club hoping to have something shop-shaped online by the end of the week, apparently.
April 10, 2025 at 12:27 pm #302004“Scunthorpe United is delighted to team up with retail and merchandising specialists Terrace as the club’s new Retail Operations partner.
A trusted brand across football, Terrace join the club on a multi-year deal during a restructure of our retail set-up for fans.
Terrace, already entrusted with retail operations across multiple EFL stadium stores, bring experience, clear strategies and new ideas with a core focus on helping the club increase revenue and sustainability through retail, all via a fan-friendly shopping experience.
The new-look online store is now live at sufcshop.com, with several new product lines already in place alongside our current bestsellers, while our stadium shop will undergo gradual changes in the coming weeks as stock is replenished.
The club would like to thank fans for their patience during the changeover period.”There you go.
April 10, 2025 at 12:37 pm #302006Yes a shit show, going from personally designed products to a generic product base, “United we Stand”
April 10, 2025 at 1:31 pm #302009I take it you weren’t consulted AGAIN AWG? Bad habit the club’s getting in to.
April 10, 2025 at 1:51 pm #302011I wonder what the split is between store & online sales are / were?
April 10, 2025 at 1:57 pm #302013The letter from the club giving Merch Labs notice to quit by the end of the week was ended by offering the chance to re-tender for the contract to supply the merchandise.
Strange, as they’d obviously already done a deal with someone else.
Not a good look by the club, not for the first time since the CEO has been at the club.April 10, 2025 at 3:06 pm #302022Disappointed with the products so far. Not much new badge fare – too much non unity badge stuff. Who buys cufflinks these days? Might look okay round unity badge style not those monstrosities being offered

Personally I’m pleased to be free of the absolute tat that was on sale over the last 18 months. The design work was generally appalling. I really don’t like the way Merch Labs seem to have been treated, though.
April 10, 2025 at 6:43 pm #302035Did you not like the “United we Stand” stuff Apollo.
Just read the year on statement October 4th from Michelle again suggest others do has well, By have they shit on Danny and Merch, there with the club from day one, only 6 months on and brushed aside like a bad apple.

The sentiment was generally good but the designs were utter crap.

Not just Danny and Sam, I know you were never a fan of Lee Turnbull but I consider him to be a good friend, the club (well two of the owners) shit on him as well after all his unselfish commitment to the cause when the club was at it lowest.
There has been little unity in recent months, massive changes next season regardless of what league the club are playing in.
My season ticket will not be renewed.1 user thanked author for this post.

April 11, 2025 at 10:59 am #302051Oh I was a fan of Lee, nobody spoke up for him more than me on his return from Peterborough, bought the bullshit but his actions told a different story, then in the end he attacked fans with sending the police in unforgivable.
