I think wage wise we will be competitive because many clubs are going to be cautious over spending and look at sustainability. Looking at some accounts revelations such as Salford, Oldham, Fleetwood, Port Vale and Stockport they are all posting losses between £2.3 and £9 million losses ! So big paydays for players are not going to be that regular and it will spiral down.

Perhaps some will prefer a longer contract at a lower wage but gain security.

Don’t think AB is taking anyone for a fool, Whitehall has played his last game for us IMO but to keep moral up Butler does not want to confirm it, basic football logic to keep opponents guessing but its no big deal again IMO, we should have enough to get promoted whether Whitehall plays or not.

I said that’d be him done for the season during the week after he’d done it.
It’s not as if we’re awaiting the return of a Messi – just fess up and tell us he’s knackered and out for the remainder of the season.
It’s no big deal.
