Chief scout promoted to the board room is the best we can hope for.
Lines of communication down Bucks?

I think Hallam is fit Cassidy. I could be wrong but wasn’t he in full training last week ?
Makes Cox’s selection look even worse then if he’s fit and not in the squad.

Picking half fit ‘favourites’ before fully fit others is no way to manage a squad, how can this help morale?
Hallam crocked again? Must be or he’d surely be in the squad, more great communication from the club.2 users thanked author for this post.
Fallen out with:-
Supporters
Local Council
Local PressAll of whom could have helped him achieve what he (said he) wanted to achieve. Staying onside with some of the players wouldn’t have done any harm either.

You missed “Another” or “again” out of the thread title.

Not a fan of Hackney or Hippo yet, I prefer Perry and Beestin, but surely the winning team has to start this week. Subject to fitness of course but any other selection would be poor management IMO.
They may have you both in the “likely to criticise” category and have sent your surveys to UTI99 for positive feedback.

I’m thinking further back when we attracted higher calibre players, Morris, Lund, Gilks etc.
Now that dream is over we get what we’ve got.1 user thanked author for this post.
Is it possible that, like the supporters, some signings (players & managers) were made promises that weren’t kept? How many were tempted here by the prospect of playing in a brand new stadium?

Was there any suggestion that returning the age that OAP reduction was available to 60 was an option? That would please 1 or 2, at least 1 anyway.

I used to be Roy Walker (but funnier)
RIGHT!!!!
Good – but not right!

Shouldn’t matter whether they’re his signings or not, his job is to get the best out of his squad not render them useless by ignoring them.
He will have somebody to ‘correctly’ interpret the feedback no doubt.

ACTION required Mr Chairman not just words.1 user thanked author for this post.
If they are advertised to be handed out at the next home game that could put 2,000+ on the gate if everybody wants to have their say.

If Kenyon, Perry, Beestin, Wood, Hackney, Hippo & Pugh are all fit at the same time what does Cox do?
Massive difference in the articles IMO. Yems said absolutely nothing to belittle The Iron, Lynch however – “At the same time, it’s not acceptable to lose against Scunthorpe.” Who does he think he’s playing for these days? There’s the basis for the team talk before we play them again.
Did anybody spot the chairman yesterday, can’t see from the DRE.

I predict an Iron victory.
Do you have any of that medicine to spare?

Good idea Sanfran, not been able to enter mine and forgot on Tuesday.
PV/Col 3-0
Sw/Br 2-1
BR/NC 1-1
Ex/MT 3-0
Sc/CT 0-2Nigel Adkins return would be great but ill show my arse in Woollies window if it happens
Blimey you have been away a long time!!
Oh for a Scunny team that has 12 shots in the last 20 minutes. Often takes us 4 games to achieve that.

Quite right WG, and who has suggested playing Wilson every game? Nobody as far as I remember but plenty of us have suggested he gets some game time, especially before some players who are apparently ill. Must be filling the young lad with confidence Neil.
Let’s face it…Swann came here with no real business plan
Au contraire Rodney – it’s possible that he came with a very clear business plan which could be working.

He’s already on the radio in advance talking about how we’ve got to match and nullify their 3 in midfield otherwise they will hurt us.
Why don’t we worry about hurting them??So to nullify their midfield 3 he picked 2 kids and a NL winger – genius.
Where’s Perry BTW, 20 odd games in L1 last season? Injured, naughty step or ill with cantbearseditis? Is Hallam injured again?
Felt like a defeat didn’t it?We trained well.
We knew what they would do.
We lacked quality in the final third.
The injuries affected our plans.
We made some bad decisions.
We were unlucky with the penalty/the sending off.
We deserved something from the game.
If we repeat this performance we’ll be OK.
Why do I say this every week.I hope I’m wrong, the humble pie is in the oven.

Give the lad a chance, certainly no worse than Hippolyte or Green ( who now has a dead leg ).
So an improvement on the 2 he usually has.

Worth a go IMO. This “we clearly have no wide men of any note” is the reason. Bunn (seldom fit) and Wilson (disappeared) look like our best option out wide but that looks unlikely to happen. Cox can’t keep picking Green and Hippo in the hope that they turn into footballers.

No chance of him arguing with the chairman is there?
