Can we still move players out on loan to NL?
I am not a Colchester supporter but I know how long it takes for a new team to get used to playing together
Go on the thread ” Colchester fan on the league so far ” read it and have a laugh, I assure you it was nothing personal premier iron.
He’ll get it tomorrow if he goes to GP!!

You’re completely wrong about the game tomorrow.
Dad had one when I started driving – used to fill it up for a quid.

Likely to be 7 “Hillmen” starting on Saturday so should be OK.
I think this is a bit harsh on Hill. I’m pretty sure he knows the team and formation he’d like to play but if, say on Thursday, 3 players test positive for Covid he’s b*******. Some selections have been strange certainly but don’t forget KDT made the squad one week, doesn’t that suggest no alternative. It’s complicated by the fact that the club stated that Covid infected players would not be named which could explain “unexplained” absences.

So give that to Will Swann and the Acadamy GK coach to Mussy on his current salary. Sorted.
Isn’t he our top goalscorer? In fact, depending on the team sent out, he could be our only goalscorer.

Squad is at the limit though isn’t it?
Has he been at the SVS lately? Can’t see from where I am.
Didn’t see the word “contract” anywhere Sanfran.
Green was good enough and fast enough.
Only half right les!!
Can’t believe Pugh gets anywhere near the best 11.
” maybe Beestin when fit but i like Pugh’s box to box qualities)” when tranlated means runs around a lot with minimal effect.
Watson
Matheson Onariase Delaney Lewis (for now)
Grant
Feeney Beestin Sinclair (rotating throughout the match)
Burns Nuttall
Please bear in mind I have never seen Delaney or Nuttall play but I have seen the alternative in Delaneys case.
Bench looks a bit thin without O’Malley, Hackney & Bunn.2 users thanked author for this post.
Would seem like a good opportunity to give Nuttall & Pyke half each and maybe 45 for Delaney as they’re all short of match time. Knowing our luck they’d all pick up injuries though.
But it wouldn’t fit if it’s not in your puzzle.
I guess ideally Hill would like to have kept Hippo & Wood and lost Perry & KDT but overall not a bad outcome.1 user thanked author for this post.
I think if Hill wins MOM for February we should be OK.

I’m confused now.

” I’m trying to put a jigsaw together and unfortunately that excluded Harry. It’s a bit of a shame really because he is one I would like to have kept”Why would you want to keep a piece of a jigsaw that wasn’t part of the puzzle you were making?
Last 3 we had from The Shrews weren’t too bad, let’s give him a chance.
5’8″ or 6’2″? I know which I’m hoping for.
Another one Hill knows – good sign.Ferrite wrote:-
“Hackney out for another 3-4 games? Kenyon, Hippolyte & Wood all gone this week. Leaves Pugh, Beestin, Rowe & Grant I think?”We’ll be OK with Grant & Feeney to start and then any 2 from Beestin, Sinclair, Hackney, Hallam & Lewis. (Pugh if we must)
Well he paid Kenyon off and, if he had any sort of relationship with us supporters, we’d have had a whip round for the few hundred quid needed to pay up KDT.
Looks like paying off the EFL loan will be “necessary” in order to remove the squad size limit and get Hill the players he wants.
I’d say Covid but, as we’re the only club affected, it can’t be that.

Thanks. Just had a look and, depending on which youngsters count and which don’t I reckon we have 23. Can’t see how we can shift 4 to bring in the 4 that Hill wants. Loanees could be one route, surely the chairman can persuade his mate Rodders to take Wood back.
As I understand it the EFL embargo limits squad size (anybody know what it is?) It’s likely that we are being held up by lack of movement out and, with the players we’d like to shift, that could be more difficult than attracting players in.
No argument with that McF, just can’t see him moving north now for what’s likely to be a short term deal.

Too cold up here, never been further north than Ipswich!
Remember Lee Hodges saying it was 10 degrees colder here when he came from London. What an absolute treat to have some midfielders that can control and pass the ball. Feeney & Grant top drawer first half but, understandably, tired in the second, surprised they both played 90 mins. Hope the youngsters learn from them and b***** quickly. Where are the strikers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1-0 down and we play without one!!!!

Assuming Wiki can be believed (and why not!!)
Plus:- Could cover the lack of a LB at present
Puts pressure on Taft
6’5″ and a good age
Known to Hill
Probably cheap enough.Minus:- Doesn’t seem to have played much lately
Morecambe again (3rd time lucky?)Only 1 day left after match day, Monday needs to be busy.
How much longer is the Nuttall deal going to take, does he really want to come here? -
