How time and hindsight improves the rose tint on those specs. Godden, Wootton & Goode had plenty of chances here and did little to impress. Arguably both Godden & Wootton were lucky to get the contract extensions they did. Godden eventually found his touch and Wootton his level. Goode has improved from donkey to passable L1 CB. No doubt those calling for the moving on of Hallam, KDT, Green, O’Neil et al will be claiming we made a big mistake letting them go in the unlikely event that they come good elsewhere.

Cox’s choice wasn’t he, rather than an agents or board proposal?
Yes as was KDT.
Wonder if KDT will get a chance under Hill or if he’s seen enough in training. (If he’s fit of course)
Maybe don’t get too attached to him les.
Can’t beat a good rumour. Gives us something to talk about when we’ve said all there is to say (many times) about the s*** football and the running of the club.
When suggestions put forward to attract new fans there always seemed a reason why they could nt do it. It might have been an idea if one of the Team with Mr Swann had taken notes of suggestions put to them !
Not doing this gives the impression not really interested in what was said to them!Well observed and, I suspect, entirely true.
I still think Loft could prove to be a decent player but he’s not there yet. How there can be interest from other teams based on what we’re currently seeing just amazes me. A massive leap of faith from any manager who thinks he’s a Championship striker or has the potential to become one.
Have a look how many times he’s got 10 in a season MK.
Certainly, not good enough for the Championship.
Had a great history with Gillingham.
Probably not a crock.Mate of mine at Hull reckons he is, probably knows Bunn and been told it’s an easy life here. Dropping 2 divisions looks unlikely.

But should the decent and law abiding section of this community be doing more to educate and control those tarnishing their reputation?
Those paid to uphold the law don’t seem that interested.2 users thanked author for this post.

If more debt equals league survival I don’t think many would argue against it would they? (Well maybe a couple)

Aren’t some of those past retirement age? Never mind pocket money – a few bob to top up their pension should be enough.
As well as luck he’ll need:-
Removal of the transfer embargo by having the EFL loan paid off.
A transfer budget to bring in at least 2 or 3 better quality players.
Has he been promised these things?
If so, will the promises be honoured?2 users thanked author for this post.
See Bunn wasn’t involved for long again. Think him and Hallam need to go.
Where to?
think Loft has already moved on in his own head. Didn’t he say not long back that he was looking to move on in January ?
He’ll have to start scoring at the right end if he’s hoping for a move.
Bunn Kenyon amongst others need shipping out ASAP.
Where to?
From the post match interview:-
” I’ve been encouraged with speaking all week with Peter (Swann, chairman)”Yes, we were all encouraged in the beginning Keith.

Who’s picking the team? Hill, McMahon, Swann?
Club said he’s to give an interview post match tomorrow.
Let’s hope he’s got a different scriptwriter.

No mention of an assistant, has the combined Cox/Lillis salary been used on Hill alone? MacMahon as assistant?
Don’t like him, don’t like his style of play, hope it works for us. UTI.

Nearly 400 home league goals in ten seasons
Still less than 2 goals per home game, ah those memories.
Just a general comment on O’Leary vader rather than a reply to anything specific.
Been out of football longer than Lillis, probably thinks that 2-3-5 is the latest thing. Knows b… all about lower league football.
No a realist! There’s enough poster-poster abuse on here, a bit of credit where it’s due provides a bit of balance.
Both too smart.
I heard 95% of them were all iron- bru posters.
Doubtful, bru posters know the conditions of employment. Needs to be somebody from afar who has to be desperate, gullible, cheap and have the ability to act decisively when told what to do.

Evidently Swanny has received over 50 applicant’s already.
Apparently 95% are under 18 and the others include Alan Knill and Mike Bassett

Remember how excited we all (most) were with the appointment of the Cox/Lillis dream team? A local boy and an imported club legend with passion. (I’ll never forget the SWansea play-off) Where did it all go wrong?

He’s only done half of the necessary, appointing the right successor will/might get the fans back.

Adkins & Crozzer – we can only dream!!
( Sorry, I meant Adkins, Swann & Crozzer )2 users thanked author for this post.
No point playing 3 CBs when 2 of them only have one good knee between them. Maybe just play the 2 fit ones instead of benching one?
