Your obsession with the keeper’s came from the fact that we lost our number 1 to Northampton, and therefore needed a new goalkeeper to take his place.
Pre season turned up and Butler announces Maison will be number 1 even without having another keeper in the building, that showing the backup won’t be as strong as fans would want to see.
Enter Rory Watson and the fans get said answer.
In the meantime preseason gets going and Maison was showing nothing that fans who went to watch to say that he was ready and should be number 1.
Don’t get why you can’t except that fans will target anyone who they thinks not up to the mark, Beck and others are fair game when they play Rene will testify to that.Watched their goal on Saturday now and you could say good save, but also you can say what’s he doing diving to the right and an easy push out for a corner, but ends up somehow sending it left into the danger area for an easy tap in, I’m with what’s he doing, deffo a mistake but not alone in the whole goal event.
Move on shit happens so long as lessons are learnt. If you want to see how a goalie should punch watch on fan banter Avro v Kidsgrove lol.
Good strong lineup.
Sellers
They’ve been picked for a TV game as well on the Sunday, very surprised out of 8 games to be televised we are not amongst them.

Didn’t realise at all, I just saw the photo that was put up 5 hrs ago, no one else had mentioned it.
Wonder if that’s what SDH57 meant about not wanting him in the dressing room or anywhere near the team lol.
Anyway fair play to him for putting it out there even if he was so so wrong.See that egocentric Danny Whitehall was doing the rounds meeting and engaging with fans before last Saturday’s game.
Even better for the fact that Hartlepool had already tweeted that they were playing Accrington in the 1st round.
Easy team talk for Wilcox.1 user thanked author for this post.
And don’t Boston need the money? Just the same.
Logic in football doesn’t go hand in hand especially for us, banned from Chelsea because their fans caused trouble at home! Scunthorpe beat Wealdstone 0-0! and there’s more.First line Deerey!
If you let them get away with it they’ll just carry on doing it.
Not in the least bit bothered about the money it’s about us the fans, many who aren’t getting chance to watch their team in our local derby this season.
If we can give them a full stand then so could they poxy though it is.Not every club get 600 standing they have a moveable segregation barrier and have apologised for the inconvenience to their supporters.
Obviously not interested in the extra money at their own supporters expense, that’s fair enough but scunny should reciprocate only allowing 650 of their fans when we play them at home especially when they’ll be at least 1500 spaces will go begging, not like it’s a real problem to give us all the stand.Words are cheap just like your happy clapper comments Deerey.
Tad expectant on the crowd there lads their highest crowd up to now is 2200.
And they’ve only given us 650 tickets.2 users thanked author for this post.
It was you who highlighted the interview in reply to me Deerey, strong/serious just the same. And he just didn’t take it serious or put a strong team out however you luck at it.
Was right though he ended up wearing one, and I didn’t tell them to go home only encouraged. Depends which protests were acceptable in the end the pitch invading and tennis balls did the trick.
Thinking back I can’t believe we stayed till halftime at Harrogate.Nagh they’ve got their £24000 to help out.
The fa cup is not just about the club getting money in, it’s for the fans and their dreams, only seen us beat the cods at their place once but would take them every time.
Don’t forget the club could have earned £16000 in the NL cup if they’d showed the slightest bit of interest.1 user thanked author for this post.
So unprofessional when will they ever learn.
Shouldn’t be a choice for the keeper the manager must insist on it, we had no choice on what we could and couldn’t wear on the steelworks. what role does mussie play in all this very little imo.On reflection Rene I was being to kind, 2 Saturdays running isn’t learning after all.

Said before poor management not making the goalie take a cap out when there’s a low setting sun, told Rory before the match at Sutton in 2022 didn’t take any notice then begged for a cap from a fan during the first half, doesn’t appear to have learned if that was the case yesterday.
Worst one I saw was at Barnsley can’t remember who was in goal but just didn’t see the ball at all when they scored bugger me he to then got a cap from the crowd. Not sure on that, he’s seen the NL cup games which hasn’t worked.
Needed a stronger line up from the start which I wanted in the first post.
But credit for not being stubborn and doing the big change at halftime, hopefully another lesson learned, and I can see he has learned overall and I am liking that.3 users thanked author for this post.
Bloody hell forgot it wasn’t regionalised.
Take it seriously from the off maybe another time, the NL cup is showing that the second string isn’t good enough well a least to start games, thought it was a NL cup game with 3 subs at halftime
Hope he’s seen that to.
Any localish team away please. Not that serious Deerey by the showing of the first half fans are saying we don’t look interested.
But they crucially didn’t Deerey, and surely treating another team with respect is to play your strongest team possible.
Or maybe Butler thought he had which would be concerning or he’s started targeting games already. What like last Saturday?
The Mark Hughes team talk, they think we’re shite, they think they don’t need to play their top 2 goalscorers, nuff said.
They could but I hope he doesn’t rest them this time, could do to be in that shop window again against a league side just to show we haven’t disappeared.
Was Beck there last night on the periphery I doubt it.
Whitehall more often is, seen the supporters bus off when injured at times, if he’s there for them he’s there for the team as well, did commentating at Buxton obviously when injured and made himself available for the fans to have a crack with, hardly a player you see who wouldn’t fit in the dressing room..
And finally he chose twice to play for us that’s the kind of player every manager wants in there team, not like everybody’s heroes Haysy who continually buggered off for the money, clearly Danny loves the fans and the club despite having dicks that pull him down like 64.Just try and resist a bit harder Deerey, you’ve done 12 posts on the first 2 threads lol.
And you even started this thread , “one duff protest to much”
And maybe your one of the main reasons for kickback continually harking on about it.
There’s no hiding from what fans have seen at games it hasn’t been an illusion, I’d stick with Maison when we can he appears to be lucky for us if nothing else.Well with all them posts I believe you’ve convinced yourself Deerey.
