More money needed for the wage increase it will involve.
But from what I’ve seen and heard well deserved.Blame him in the main for relegation from the NL, going so we’ll beat Yeovil playing Maidenhead off the park for 20 mins he misses a golden opportunity from an header, next thing we know we’re bloody 3-0 down, Goals and chances change games and fortunes and that knocked the stuffing out of us and we never recovered all season.
His goals hardly counted for anything. Can’t imagine we’ll come up against any team that will have benched their 2 highest scoring forwards, this season next season or any season for that matter, unless it’s in a cup competition.

Now that would be mischievous Deerey Do you think it could be Butler.
Was deemed fit enough to play more than 45mins so I assume he was fit and could have been subbed as per norm on 60/70 mins if needed.
Been on the front foot from the off this season with his team selection but not yesterday, a gift to Carlisle imo, whatever it certainly didn’t work I hope you agree.Leaving both your top goalscorers on the bench would have been a boost to Carlisle in the first place.
Whitehall should always be first on the team sheet now Fitz has gone and nothing he’s done this season and previous would suggest otherwise.
Don’t know what extra money we got for the TV game but only 700 Carlisle cost the club £20,000 plus, filled every away allocation up till yesterday even at York for the night match very disappointing.Anyone would think Campbell is reading bru Deerey by that statement, comments on here will neither help nor hinder him.
Of course people were right, the football they were watching was shite in the main and never really improved all season, remember one game being lauded on that was the new year game against Kings Lynn, any others where we were outstanding?
Scrapped over the line to achieve promotion against Chester where we were second best for more than half the game, but over that line Butler took us and all credit for that and his place in history. This season in an higher league like chalk and cheese, already seen at least 6/7 games like the Kings Lynn game.
Butler’s doing good and many of us who wanted him out now look forward to watching and there’s nothing wrong in that it’s not everyone has that chip on their shoulder that can’t be removed with the likes of 64 with his, some of us want all our players to do well and always have for that matter.Only because you won’t be there!
Let’s face it CBRP the away games over the last 2 seasons have been mediocre at best, glad at last the team are putting performances in worthy going to watch the footy rather than just treating it as a good day out with friends and just happening to see a football match.
Don’t get me wrong getting out of that shite league was all important last season, but going to games now and watching a performance where it doesn’t matter much (well not at the moment, here’s hoping) is so much better.
Goes without saying I wasn’t convinced with Butler promotion or not, but hey he’s doing a great job this season and all credit to him.Bet you do now Deerey.
Gutted I wasn’t there must have been one hell of a night.1 user thanked author for this post.
Shan’t be there myself on another holiday, 5 of my family will be however, maybe not bad thing can’t remember winning there when I’ve been.
Remember leaving at half time when losing 3-0 at the old ground and was back in scunny as the game finished.
Hope everyone has an enjoyable night unlike the Carlisle fans who also rocked up in numbers.Well after all that we never had a chance of meeting Quorn they gracefully conceded their tie against Enfield after the game suspended in the 81st min due to serious injury, losing 5-1 at the time mind.
Nice to see a bit of true sportsmanship still in the game, and a touch of realism plus cost to the club and team as well.Anyway bugger it I’ll just have to watch Quornation street with me Quorn cocktail crisps instead.

Would like Macclesfield away, though Quorn away would be nice they do a nice chicken quorma in the bar.
Met a girl from there once, she was a Quorn starJust seen Fitz played today for Northampton and got man of the match, so I guess that’s out of the window for the York game.
Well worthy putting it on the club record and sequences online.
Hope Fitz is coming in for the York game.

Will all depend on whether Maison remains to be the number 1 goalie.
Well even exceeded my expectations, well done Butler and the team there’s no reason we can’t keep it going, said before I liked the recruitment, even more so with Tyler scoring, and there was me thinking Howe should have started instead.

You’d always take a point.
Whoops! Blackburn feel hard done to having to replay their game against Ipswich, winning 1-0 playing against ten men when abandoned in the 79th minute.
They must get out more and look what happens to other teams in other leagues, don’t know whether the same rules apply where season ticket holders have to pay admission like in the NL, I do hope so just to piss them off some more.Nice to see him playing reasonably well by all accounts, keep it up Rory.
Not one for a draw but from all reports would seem this was a good one, not bad considering we had our 2 best players out.
Roberts certainly not the number one when it comes to penalty taking that’s 2 he’s missed this season.I like it when a team hammer’s someone before we rock up on their doorstep.
Mick is Ukrainian and used to do the kossack dancing at many a folk festival at the queen’s gardens Pittwood house.
Still on the go but not down at scunny anymore, did he get a ban and never returned?Ps, see on tuther side Simon Elliott is banned from scunny didn’t know that, bloody hell he was scunny through and through, not even bothering with away games.
Happy clapper mind twas him who I had words with at Gateshead.Doubt it Deerey we’re a tough crowd, barring happy clappers of course. Lol.
Nothing different from down the years sure everyone will remember Mick Dewer very hard man to please.1 user thanked author for this post.
I can go along with that CBRP once managers stop taking a wage and they pay along with everyone else.
Did the fan tell Roberts he wasn’t wanted at the ground anymore?
Wonder why no one told the fans they weren’t welcome when they used to sing your f ing shite on a regular basis when getting relegated out the league and the NL.
Where’s the customer is king and the customer knows best gone. The recruitment in the main is going really well, we all new it was risky, Howe coming up 2 leagues, Dawson’s injury at Celtic, but we said it at the time a risk worth taking with our budget constraints.
Not everyone is going to be a decent recruit Beck shows us that, but fair play to Butler his recruitment as been better without Turnbull than with. There’s criticism when some believe some have been targeting the goalies unnecessarily even though they’ve committed howlers and saying how it is, now Beck he his targeted fair enough imo, Carlton got it last week basically everyone gets told there shite at times, what’s it matter whether we’re winning or not.
Shite play is shite play and obviously that fan thought it and duly expressed it, no more different when you see fans clap players at the end of the game when we’ve played absolute dog shite , Gateshead away comes to mind, when asked why they’re were doing it they don’t really know.
Let’s not sanitize football anymore than it is already, either that or go challenge and let fighting commence.“One duff protest to much” The game was abandoned with no fault from either side the only thing causing dismay is it was a draw at the time of abandonment.
If Eastleigh were winning you’d be over the moon we get to start again just like the Buxton game.
So long as the NL are consistent then we can’t moan.
Along the same lines many Chester fans wanted the playoffs final to be at a neutral ground because they were away and we could only give them 1500 tickets, travelling distance, neutral ground etc, but on previous finals the highest club always gets home advantage, we would have gone ape shit if the league changed their stance at the last moment, even though it is within their rules they could., consistency is what is needed. -
