I’ll be honest and say I didn’t think the performance I watched back on DAZN was as bad as a lot of the scathing criticism I saw on here and elsewhere. Ultimately it looked like we were simply outclassed in almost every department. But that was expected, surely? Defending was shocking of course and we could and should have conceded more, but we did create chances. Looked to me like games against opposition like Carlisle are going to be a tough watch, but we still ought to get results against the bottom half standard clubs. If that becomes the pattern, I can’t see the present coaching team going anywhere.

Maybe we need to forget about promotion.

Be content with being a mid table team this season?
If we don’t; we will be beating ourselves and the ‘players’ up week after week.And we should settle for that, keep coming through the turnstiles, keep paying, week in week out?
And will it get better, next year, with the same clueless manager, and the same apparently non-ambitious directors?
Oh, I forgot, we’re supposed to be happy we still have a club.
